Pay Was Great And Loved The People I Worked For. But Theres So Much Drama .
I worked there several years ago. Nice clean environment to work. Cleanest factory I ve ever worked in. With that being said the head of Human Resources John Phillips is a nasty piece of goods. He will lie, cheat and change paper work to get rid of u if he doesn t like u. I worked for the company for almost 2 years. Use to be if u get 5 points on ur attendance you were automatically gone. It was Easter time I took a vacation day on Good Friday of Easter weekend. On that Thursdays night our supervisors came around in assembly and told everyone how many points they had. I had 1 1/2 points. I had a great working record. I was an inspector on several lines and not one time did I ever have a part recalled with my number on It. Also every time they had over time I worked every single time they needed me. I lived in that place and had a great work ethic. I went home out of state for the Easter weekend. I called in on Sunday night because I decided to take an extra day and spend it with family and so I took a personal day. So I only had 1 1/2 points total when I went back to work on Monday night cause when I called in no new points were added. I go in Monday night to go to work and I get called into John s office. I go into his office and he tells me I have 5 1/4 points and that I m being let go. I look at him like he has 3 heads. I pull out the paper my supervisor gave me from that last Thursday night that had my points written on it and I showed it to him. I was like no I don t. I told him I d fight him in court over this! That he was not gonna take my job from me. I told him he was lying. I said let s pull my supervisor in here! He said no we re not doing that. He says listen if you give me your 2 weeks notice right now, I will back date it to two weeks ago and I will make sure you get unemployment. U cooperate with me and I will do everything in my power to make sure u leave with a good record. Then he says If you don t and u refuse to cooperate, I will make sure you and ur children don t get a dime and I will make sure u don t get ur unemployment. Then how will you take care of ur kids? He said Either way your leaving here. Now mind you I had just given birth to my son that January. I broke my water working on the line at work. I went back to work when my son was 2 1/2 weeks old. Does that sound like a lazy worker?? He wanted me gone and he was playing dirty doing it. I was a good employee. I worked myself into the ground for the company. I lost 150 lbs working there. He knew I was a single mom and he had me backed into a corner. We lost our home, our car and we became homeless because of John Phillips! It took a long time to get back on my feet. Montaplast is a great company to work for... but with that being said, they need to get rid of John Phillips. Don t trust that man. I m not the only person he has done like that. I d be willing to take a lie detector test to prove my story. I left a review years ago. I really hope the main company reads these. A lot of good employees there that deserve better than they get.
I love my job must remember to be at work every day and everything goes okay benefits are awesome great place to work

Work here the pay isn't bad but management seems as if the make decisions based on something other than how our environment affects the work we do.
So my husband was fired because he failed a field exam that was rigged. Everyone in his group sent reports saying he didn't deserve to be fired because he was doing what he was suppose to do. They didn't look into anything and just fired him. We have a feeling it's because he has heart problems and they can't fire him for a disability that he told them about before they even hired him so they had to come up with some other reason to fire him. We have an infant to care for and they just throw us in the dirt. Thank you montaplast. You just put our daughter at risk. Thank God we have family willing to help us.
Worked through a temp agency here as of yesterday. Was there for 2 weeks and done a full shift yesterday. On the way home I received a call from the temp service and they told me that montoplast let me go do to my criminal record. My charges are 10 years old. I been there for 2 weeks. Really montoplast. You all want employees but you let the ones go who work. Great job!

Im currently trying to get a job there at Montaplast, but i can never speak with the hiring manager because he never answera. Anyone know of another way i could get hired on? I put in an application almost a month ago.
Never missed a day, got stranded out of town on thanksgiving and they fired me, didn't even give me a chance to explain.

This is a very bad place to work they coincide with Yokohama industries this is a terrible company very bad for their employees I as well as my son or hired here full time they did not do a thorough background check and because Yokohama did not answer their phone we were let go the second day do you not trust Joe . Watch yourself here because of dope and very much favoritism
They are always trying to make changes to make this a better place. Very friendly very professional. Great place to work.
