Management seems to not care at all. They are condescending and do not address maintenance. Takes weeks and multiple calls to get someone to take care of something unless it's damaging the building.
Advice: Ask for receipts when you move. Landlords are legally required to show you how your deposit was used and have 21 days to provide an itemized statement and requested receipts. BT Properties could not do this so we almost took them to court but fortunately settled out of it. I hope I never have to deal with BT Properties again.
We tried to work with them for a year, but when you ask questions about charges, receipts, incorrect paperwork and tenant info, they come off as offensive, rude, and strangely entitled.
Just be warned when you sign a contract, get everything in writing, make sure you check your monthly records, question why they keep up selling you on legal fees. They ll leave you with a mess to clean up.
Also look up one of the owners/managers, she has charges against her for previous audit, paperwork issues, it s public record.
If you see BT on the property line for a sweet pet friendly place in Mountain View, watch out - either no dogs, or none over 25 pounds.
Don t move there. They will keep your security deposit and charge you more on top after moving out, claiming charges like cleaning and painting $990.

It was infested with roaches in whole building.
Ground floor have mold and roaches problems.
I just finished a three-year lease with BT, and I couldn't be more sad. BT has always treated me well, were super responsive and always took care of the apartment at the highest level. I strongly recommend them as the best property management firm I've ever cooperated with. The only reason I moved out was because I was looking for a larger home for my family. Otherwise, I would've stayed much longer.
By far the worst management company I ve ever dealt with. Becky and Cindy are a nightmare to work with. They lie to get to you sign the contract and then screw you over immediately. I moved out of my unit after 2 months and it was the best decision I ve ever made.
