We have used this walk in clinic multiple times for my hubby, our daughter, and myself and have had a great experience every time. If they are super busy then of course there will be a wait but they seem to move pretty quick despite the crowd. They are usually very friendly and they get us in and out pretty quick if they aren't swamped. The doctors are nice and caring as well. We prefer this clinic over all the ones we've been to.

Unfortunately I have to visit this clinic often due to my busy schedule and three young children being new to daycare (they re always sick) I would say my wait time is never shorter than 2 hours and the staff can be very rude if you aren t chipper about your wait. But hey I guess it s convenient .

Took my 11 year old daughter in recently for an ankle injury. It was not serious, but she was having difficulty putting weight on it. She had stayed home from school, so we both wanted and needed to get her seen...for the note for school, and just to make sure there wasn t some hidden damage. After two hours and a set of X-rays, the PA walked in to address the visit. He moved her foot around, asked a couple of questions, called her a drama queen (my hand to God, those were his EXACT words), told her she was walking out and to get her heart prepared for that, put a wrap on it, and sent us down the road. No pain meds, no light PE duty for school, no alternate heat and cold, keep it elevated, range of motion exercises, etc. He displayed the most complete and emotionless care for the psychological integrity of a child, as well as the most complete disrespect for me as a father that I have ever seen. My daughter s medical history is there for him to see, so it should have been obvious that she is medicated for severe anxiety. When we got to the vehicle to go home, she looked at me and told me she didn t like that guy, and didn t want to come back ever again. If it wasn t for the fact that a medical note is needed for school, we never would. Many of the readers will notice that I have left this person unnamed. It is the one professional (if it can be called that on any level) kindness I will do. He personally insulted my child. This is beyond unprofessional. It speaks to a state of being, and I dare to assume I am not the only person to have experienced this.

I gave 2 stars ONLY because the APN we finally saw done a good job. We pulled up and the nurse was rude. She was extremely rough and rude to my 8 year old with the flu swab. We waited TWO hours in the parking lot before we saw a doctor/APN. I called inside and she assured me, we were next. We waited another 45 minutes. I do not recommend this clinic. The initial nurse became upset when I declined a covid test for my child, even after I explained he has not been exposed and is not showing symptoms.

I LOVE this place for my family and myself! I was so sick and didn t know what to do and hate the wait of being in a germ filled waiting room to be seen for being sick! In matter of minutes after checking in, I was in a room, getting chest X-rays, breathing treatment, meds sent in and all with a friendly staff and the whole facility was very clean !! Thank you so much

My husband awakened on a Sunday morning with worsening upper respiratory symptoms and we chose this urgent care clinic because his information is already in the CHI system. A Google search indicated that the clinic opens at noon on Sunday so we planned to arrive before it opened. We did arrive about noon only to find that the clinic opens at 8:00 on Sunday. He was seen by the physician very quickly, diagnosed, his medications sent to CVS electronically, and we were out in less than 30 minutes. I did not give this site a 5 rating because the waiting area was freezing cold and there was quite a bit of trash on the floor -- tissues, newspapers, magazines. I was the one siting in the waiting room while my husband was being treated.

I can't speak for anyone else but our experience here was great. Wish I could say the same about ER. We have had a number of encounters at CHI St. Vincent.......inconsistent is the best word to describe the conditions here.

Reading the other reviews I felt I needed to share my experience. I cut my leg open and my husband took me to Convenient Care. I was seen within 5 minutes . After 18 stitches and a great staff I knew I had gone to the right place. A few days later I dropped by to have my injury checked and again seen immediately.

I've been reading these reviews - some positive but way too many negative. If I read these reviews and was the "owner" I would get on the stick and fix things - people, procedures, etc. Sometimes there is a wait but there is no excuse for rudeness.

Personally I could not rest with these reviews. CHI should not accept this and the community, I'm sure, doesn't want or deserve it. I think we can and should do better.

Sat in waiting room as people that arrived after me were taken in the back. Spoke up and the First Lady I spoke with was very friendly. Happened a second time I spoke up and the lady that took my vitals told me me if I had that serious of a problem I should go to ER. I had been there 1 1/2 hours. If you go there everyone will know you medical issues, I can tell you names and reasons patients were there no HIPPA at all.

Excellent experience! I was very hesitant to go after reading the bad reviews. I guess most people only take the time to complain. I found it to be a very organized office. It was busy, and I was still in and out in under 25 minutes. Every person I came in contact with was very kind.

Great service! This is my fourth visit, but I have never been disappointed. Very friendly receptionists, excellent medical staff, and I have never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen. I totally recommend this clinic!

Never see a doctor there but they bill you like you had seen an M. D.
A few days ago a nurse practitioner tried to drain an abscess and I had to stop her because of the pain. After i got home i was further traumatized by the fact upon reading that the standard protocol for draining abcess is I&D or Incise and drain and she was trying to squeeze the matter out causing intense pain that nearly brought me to tears. I will probably have to go to a real doctor and have the procedure done right. My brother says to sue the facilty. It really is false advertising to call yourself a clinic and then not have a doctor available for treatment of patients.

I went in today to be treated for an allergic reaction. The ladies at the reception desk were very courteous & helpful. Even on a Sunday, a Holiday no less, they seemed to like being there as they were very pleasant even jovial. We were taken back to an exam room & waited just a very few minutes before the physician arrived. What a gem he is!!!!! Dr Simpson was very kind, thorough, & knowledgeable. He knew straight away just what to do & made short work of it. He was great!!! The Nurse who administered the treatment was warm & very capable. We were shown out & completed the checkout process. All in less than an hour!!!! This clinic is fantastic. As a Nurse myself I tend to be carefully critical of any medical care given to me & my family. I will highly recommended this clinic & will return. Makes me proud to be a part of the CHI ST Vincent family.

Not sure about the Dr. Atta mentioned in the first raving review, I did not see him. I did see an APRN. I won't use his name but I was not impressed. I realize that it is a convienient care clinic and if my PCP had been available I would have gone there, although both take my insurance, Next time I will wait for 2 days to see my PCPwhen he is available since I am going to have to do so anyway. I can continue to treat the symptoms on my own. Will leave room in their waiting room for those with no other options.

I have been coming to this Clinic for years when I am sick. The last couple of times however they have forgotten about me for hours. The first time was definitely an inconvenience to say the least. The second time was today and has now become normal to them. I understand they are busy, especially with COVID-19, however when I arrived this time today there were only 4 other patients before me. I waited over an hour before calling the front desk as I saw all of those people come and go and two more people called to be seen that arrived after me. When I call the receptionist tells me it will not be much longer before they call me. Another hour later I am still waiting in my car with no call and two MORE people being called that again in, arrived after me. CHI Convenient care clinic has left a bad taste in my mouth. This is unacceptable, very unprofessional and I will file a complaint as I am sure I can t be the only person this is happening to.

I m sure the clinic doesn t care and I normally wouldn t complain but, This is worse than going to the ER now....at least the ER DOESNT FORGET PATIENTS!

I have always had a great experience here. Even before they moved. With medicaid you can't get in to see a doctor when you need to. So I have always gone to this clinic. Been treated for pneumonia twice here. Shots, xrays, I also have allergies and can get a script for them here. My son recently wrecked his dirt bike a d his nail and finger needed to be looked at. They did treatment (local anesthetic and then removal of the finger nail, xrays to see if any fractures). I have taken my sons in here for stitches and staples, Nurses and doctors are always nice. I love this place. Way faster than the ER. If we have an injury or excessive bleeding that is obvious, you will be bumped to the front of the line as is appropriate, and seen and treated WAY FASTER than an ER.

The wait was an hour and half. The staff was rude and uncaring, very unprofessional. They let someone who just got there go ahead of me because they knew a nurse that works there, so they didn't wait at all. I will NEVER go there again. Horrible service and just plain rude staff.

Sat there for hours today not feeling well.. they never called me in. Sent me to the tent and was pushing a test I didn't want. Got kinda rude after I said no. Thought I was getting a z pack for upper respiratory or bronchitis.. but all I was prescribed was a inhaler. Not happy with today's experience at all. Dont think I'll go back there.

Went in for the first time yesterday because I may...

Went in for the first time yesterday because I may have had the flu and I was not able to get in to see my PCP. I also work in a small office full of parents, so better safe than sorry. Dr. Simpson came in for just a couple of minutes, stated that I had "the FLU flu" but that it was too late to give me any medication because of how long I had been sick. Told me he wanted me to stay home from work until Monday so that I did not risk spreading it to my office. I got home and realized that the note they gave me only covered me for 2 days. I called back and was told to come in today for the correct note. I tried to call 2 times today and was told someone would call me back. I was still running a fever today and didn't want to get out so I was just going to have them fax it to my office. No one called me back so eventually I just dragged in.

First of all, the lady I spoke with was rude. She treated me like I just wanted out of work and like I was lying about what the doctor told me. He told me I had the flu. That was it. It was a short conversation. Go home. Rest. Done. Mind you, no swab was done. Apparently, all he placed in record was "viral symptoms". He was not in today for me to speak with and will not be back for 2 days.

Now my problem is that I had informed my office that I have the flu. Yet I have nothing to show that. So I had to go pay ANOTHER copay for my PCP to tell me that I do not have the flu. I followed "doctors orders", missed 2 days of work, and spent money just to be basically lied to and treated terribly. I would have rather them just tell me I don't have the flu and send me on. I'm not upset about not getting a note for work. I'm upset that I was charged to be lied to which led to me missing work.

So no, I don't recommend this place. You are much better off waiting to see your PCP. The only thing convenient about this place is that you don't have to schedule an appointment.

The doctors and nurses are great and helped me a lot two different times! One time it was a short wait, but the next time was extremely busy, but I was willing to wait because of the care I'd received previously, and I was not disappointed.

Very rarely have I ever had a good experience here. The worst experience- 2 years ago, my two year old child had an ear infection so I took him in after work to be seen. He was cranky and throwing a fit. Others in the waiting room and complained at the window and the "ladies" at the window asked the officer to ask me to take my sick child outside and wait as to not disturb the others in the waiting room. I cried. I was so angry and humiliated. If the staff were not so slow, maybe the others wouldn't have had to listen to a cranky sick child for a prolonged period of time.
The wait wasn't just slow on this day. Every single visit I or a family member has made here has had a wait time of at least an hour. Most providers have been very rude and uncaring.
We do not use CHI for anything at all anymore. Switched our PCP and started using Healthstar walk in clinic and the difference in patient care in comparison is night and day. I wouldn't even say this CHI clinic deserves one star. Would not recommend it to my worst of enemies.

This place has the worst time management I have ever seen. We were there over 2 hours for a possible strept throat. The swab wasn't even taken when we got into a room. We were left in there to hear the nurses talking and laughing and goofing off. The APRN finally came in and was like oh we will take a swab and that was another 30 min. He was very rude and asked why we didn't take my daughter (20) to see our PCP which we tried to get in to see with no luck. Then he said well pcp's don't want to see their sick patients anymore. He was very unprofessional and looked annoyed to even be there. I will never return to this clinic. They need a good overhaul by their management.

Extremely unprofessional and rude staff. The receptionist, Sharon Robins, literally walked out of the room as I was telling her was I was there. I have never even had fast food workers be that outwardly rude. Guess I should have been asking for opiates, not my anti anxiety medication that I have a prescription to.

I went to this clinic to have my leg checked out after I (was told by staff) I had sprained my leg. I waited over 2 hours to get in and saw an APN. I have to leave go pick up my husband and we came back. When I went in they took me back to X-Ray my leg. Then I waited for results and a nurse came in and handed me a wrap and said a script was called in to my pharmacy for an anti inflamatory. The APN never came in after I returned. They said I couldn't get a script for my pain as they didn't do those. I will not go back because the feeling was they didn't care if I hurt or not.

My experience with this clinic today was awful. Rude, rude, rude. I have a two year old son who jumped and fell hitting his forehead directly on footboard of bed. We arrived at the clinic about 4:30pm and waited for hours to be seen.

Approximately, two hours of waiting a Sheriff approaches my husband and I asking us to get a handle on our two year old son. We asked, What would you like us to do...? He responded, I don t know, spank him on his bottom. My husband said, As you can clearly see, we are here bc our son has taken a fall and are waiting to be seen, sir. We have been waiting and we don t need to spank our son who has already sustained head trauma.

I quickly gathered our things and went to the front counter to remove our name from the list of patients. It was not only embarrassing but very disheartening to be treated as tho our son was misbehaving and we should discipline him. He s two, not a heathen. He wasn t screaming or crying. We weren t letting him run around like a crazy man.

And to the jerks who complained about my son in the first place, karma....! How dare ANYONE complain about a two year old?! What if my son has head trauma and we were turned away?!?! Are you kidding me?!?! I am FURIOUS.

Hours say they're open 'til 7pm, (8pm on other portions of their website), yet, they turned me away at 6:47. Read the reviews. This place sucks. Edit: Went over to Sherwood, X-ray tech was on her way out the door, and stayed to see me. Will be going there from now on.

The wait was unprofessional and rude. I would be faster to schedule an appointment with your own doctor. I mean all he did was look at the issue and not call a simple prescription in. We ended up leaving before getting the prescription called in. If I could I would give them 0 stars.
