Overall great experience here. I wasn't hassled or pressured into anything I did not want.What really set this place apart from the other dealerships was the great costumer service. Words cannot describe the great costumer service I received by two young fellows. Alex and Seth. Not only did they help me select my vehicle within my price range, but also helped me choose the certain model that I needed rather than wanted. I will definitely come back here just because of the customer service. When you feel appreciated and helped, it makes the whole car buying process much easier. Great place and great customer service, I highly recommend asking for Alex or Seth.

I called regarding an issue with my vehicle and was told to bring it in. When I arrived at the service department I spoke with Mike and he took care of things immediately. He offered me a loaner vehicle and told me he would call me as soon as he know the issue with the vehicle. Which he did. I also mentioned that I had an appointment for an oil change but that it was the following week.
When he called saying my car had been repaired he also told me my oil had been changed. I didn't need to return the following week for the oil change.(I do not live in Bryan/College Station...so no extra trip!) I appreciate him making that happen. The Tom Light Chevrolet dealership and service department are top notch!

Nope only went there years ago when we needed windshield wipers for our Saturn due and the guy tried to charge me $60. for the two on front, after I told him that was wrong funny how the price dropped to under twenty. Really never will I go to that dealer for anything, being a woman they think I'm dumb

Service department gave me an estimate of $2300....took to another service shop...only ONE of the items the dealership wanted to fix actually needed fixing....only cost us $800...This is why people have issues taking their vehicles to dealerships when they are out of warranty....you just can't trust them!

Thank you Henry Gerdes, for assisting us in selecting and purchasing our new truck! Our experience at Tom Light Chevrolet was the best experience I have ever had at a dealership!

Months ago, we were just looking at options to buy and we formed a relationship with Chris Terrell. Chris did a great job of keeping us informed of inventory status and current deals at Tom Light Chevrolet without being pushy.

Once we were ready to buy, Chris had the perfect vehicle picked out and we were signing paperwork a short time later. There was a slight bit of confusion regarding our trade-in value, but Tom Light Chevy stood by us, ruled in our favor so-to-speak, and earned our business for life.

This is the first time in my 20 years of buying/leasing cars that I've left the dealership without the slightest tinge of regret or buyer's remorse! Thanks!

Recently, (10/15/2012), I took in my 98 Chevy Venture Van in to have them figure out what is wrong with my driver side window, shifter cable, a/c, and the brakes. I made sure the service guy knew that I was wanting to know what was wrong with it and how much it would cost because I was selling the van to my brother and wanted to do my brother right with fixing the few issues it had before I sold it to him.

The guy called me back a few days later telling me it would cost 4000+ to fix the items. I asked the specifics and got that they needed to replace the enitre window assembly, the whole a/c, etc. When I tried to ask what exactly was wrong he gave me vague answers. I told him no to the changes and said I come by and pick it up.

When we got there my wife was going to drive it back while following me home. I began to leave when she started to honk the horn to get my attention. I headed back over to find her in near tears because the driver side window just about fell (far worse then what it was when we took it in) and there was a sales rep talking to her through the window stating (well when its time its time. You could look at these new cars we have here) I basically have to ask the service manager to get the sales rep away from my wife because he wouldn't leave (at this point she is completely crying)

Once that was resolved, the service manager told me he'd have the guys who worked on the van to put the window back the way it was, so we left and a few days later he calls back stating it can't be done. I asked why? and he said these things happen, when you work on a older vehicle things can break and it has to be replaced. I asked for my money back and he told me that was not possible. Needless to say I was furious and just told him I'd come by and pick it up and fix it myself.

That weekend I took the door panels off to see what was wrong and found that their solution to fixing the window from falling was to bend the regulator around the track instead of putting it back into the track.

After taking the door apart and getting the regulator out, i bent the arm back straight and found that the real issue was the main rivet in the center of the regulator was loose causing the two arms to have slack. (the original issue) I went and bought the piece from the store for $35 (they were trying to charge me $900 for the part!?!!!?!?!)

Also, when I went to fix the shifter cable I opened the hood of the van to find:
- the hood stand heavily bent backwards behind the hood latch;
- The A/C valve caps missing;
- Several cover flaps and rubber linings (to stop rain from getting in) sitting in the engine hole;
- Several wire groupings left out of the rubber tubes that bound them together
- The left side of the front grill snaps that hold it on were all broken off
All this and probably more I dont know about.

If you are reading this please please please do not get them to service your vehicle. This all really did happen and in the end they charged me $200 and a few weekends of headaches and didnt care. I am currently reporting them to the better business bureau.

When I started shopping for my new car I went to several dealerships and was dissapointed with their sales techniques and how pushy they were. I decided to go to Tom Light because I had purchased there before and was very satisfied then. Larry helped me out with looking first at what kind of vehicle needs I had and then what would be the be finacial option for me. It was very easy and no pressure at all. The time I spent felt very comfortable and I will not shop around at all next time. I know that Tom Light will take care of me like I am family. Thank you.

Went in for an oil change today 6/8/13 after reading the service hours on the offical website 8 am - 1 pm on Saturdays. I arrived at 10:30 am and was informed that they actually close at noon and they were no longer accepting any more customers for the day. The young lady behind the counter informed me that there were five other cars already in line so that meant that they were done fot the day. Are you kidding me? An hour and a half before closing and I am turned away.

Perhaps this wouldn't have irritated me so much if it were the first time I have experienced disappointing service. A few months ago I stopped in with a nail in my tire and was told that the tire was not repairable and I would have to purchase a new tire in the amount of $180. After calling a friend that owns a local body shop that has
a connection to a local tire shop I found out that the tire was indeed repairable and cost $10.

My family is moving to Huntsville in a few months and I am extremely happy that I will be doing business with Weisner Chevrolet from now on. I have had some experience with Weisner already and the difference between the dealerships is like night and day.

We contacted our sales rep asking how long the purchase would take he said thirty minutes. Two hours later we were only checked on twice while waiting by our sales rep explaining they had a lot of other customers. Not any closer to our purchase, we had previous obligations and needed to get on our way but were still interested in the vehicle. The sales rep stormed off after we told him this with no goodbye, no handshake. It was incredibly rude and not in any way professional. After receiving no follow up I called the sales manager who had the sales rep contact us. After replying to the sales rep about establishing another time to come in we never got an answer. It was an absolute joke in customer service. They put on a good show but lack patience and understanding that you work on the customers time. After my experience I felt that we were trying to sell our business to them. I would not recommend anyone buy their car here especially first time buyers. Truly an unpleasant experience.

Quade was Super Great in getting the Best deal done! Several calls and he nailed it! Jeff Harris came in and made the whole process last less than 1 hour at the price I wanted (Beat Houston and Austin dealers!) I heartily recommend! Best price for truck ever

My boyfriend seen a good price online and verified the price over the phone with a salesman, turns out the car was pending sale. Next thing we know we get a call saying the car is up for sale again so we come up there to buy and was manipulated. we were in the finance room while on the phone with the insurance trying to get full coverage while being rushed by james in finance. He left the room to make a copy and cane back saying 'i thought yallwould have been done by now. So since it was my boyfriend buying the car he handed the phone to me to take over with the insurance and I wasn't in there to help him make sure everything was correct and also they guy didnt go over the prices or anything and my boyfriend didnt realize he was being ripped of. So we make it to the car and I'm looking through the paper work and notice he was charged a extended warranty that he didn't want so I go back in there and tell hin and he said that the leaner required him to purchase that and keep it for 30 days.. WELL IT WOULD BE NICE TO KNOW THAT. Then we get home and notice we were charge a little over 3000 more than was quoted which we were never told about either. Turns out that also was the lenders sale price which I dont understand. We were never told about any of these added charges so my review is to save other customers the trouble of being manipulated like we were.

I made an offer on a used truck they had on the lot for some time and was politely told that they didn't accept the offer. I was okay with this and was walking toward the door when a manager approaches me and in a very condescending tone told me that the truck was worth much more than I had offered and told me that "I should know how much it's worth because I'm in the business". Not only was this man rude and aggressive but he also ruined my perfectly pleasant car deal I was working out with a helpful salesman. The sales manager at Tom Light chevrolet has no skills when it comes to talking to customers. I advise you to steer clear of Tom Light and it's aggressive and rude sales manager.

Cole helped me with my radio screen problem plus went ahead and added an oil change and tire rotation. When my radio screen went black I was in the CS area and drove over to Tom Light. Cole came out to check my problem and scheduled me for service the next day. I am now up and running again. Thanks Cole!

Purchased a new vehicle from them. Larry is very knowledgeable about the vehicle I purchased and answered all of my questions quickly. Not the usual salesman, did not push me into purchasing the vehicle. I agree the sales floor and his office we're a bit warm. Pleasant buying experience.

I have to say that Tom Light is not always perfect, but in my experience, any mistakes they've made they have been more than willing to fix. They treat you like a human being and have never blindsided me with anything or tried to squeeze money out of me. I bought my Cruze from here and have continued to use them for service specifically because the staff here is respectful without ever being patronizing.

I purchased a used truck last Saturday and worked with Geoff Lee. Geoff was very responsive and was a pleasure to work with. The experience was pleasant for both my wife and I. I am happy we made the drive from Houston - great decision on our part.

The only reason I have this place even ine star is because the people are friendly and accommodating. They are dishonest, but friendly.

Two weeks ago today we bought a van from them. We drove four hours one-way to get to them after seeing an ad for the type of vehicle we had been searching for. After only two days, it was in our local shop where they informed us that, according to the computer diagnostic, it had a history of issues. This vehicle has only 30,000 miles and has been in the shop several times already. This information was withheld even after we specifically asked about pre-existing issues.

Also, we were told it had an Allison transmission, which we have since been informed by our local mechanic, is not. That type of transmission was a big selling point, the dealers knew this, and lied to us.

Do not trust these people. They seem nice and low-pressure, which we appreciated, but they are liars and swindlers. I would never do business with them again.

Not the dealership type because I think they re over rated, so I really have no opinion. There s been a couple times we needed a part specifically from the parts department and it was a HUGE hassle. So we d rather not ever try to get a part with a dealership again.

The service rep knew I was coming--guessed who I was as I walked in the door, took my key, took care of the scheduled maintenance, and called me when the car was ready. The car was ready on time for me to be on my way. I have not had service that like before. Very impressive.
