Very good food for a reasonable price.
A friendly service.

Ideal place for business lunch near the train station with good, vegetarian menu and pleasant unobtrusive attentive service. The lunch menu is small, but from salad to fish everything is in it and then, the benefit of the clear map, all freshly prepared.

Good offers and quality.
The prices are ok.
However, the idyllic terrace at busy times is full and sometimes noisy.

Lovingly run family business, down-to-earth but not provincial. Good cuisine with regional specialties.

For the first time you have to note the furniture is getting a bit old and not really comfortable. The table shook violently.
The waiter was super nice and really good.
To eat you have to say light and shadow. Fried potatoes medium in taste and a little mushy, sometimes too dark. Salad means. Meat was of good quality. With the Brunnenhof pan, however, a little bit. The mushroom sauce was only a medium for such an upscale restaurant. But the vegetables were crisp and very good. However, pulled over with a finished hollandaise. So with a few changes and the existing hospitality, it could be great. And that would be nice because there are far too few good German restaurants.

We were more than disappointed. First we stood for a felt eternity at the entrance and were not placed. The ordered coke was unfortunately carbonated and the veal escalopes were tough and the breading has come off. Once and never again.

Super rich and varied tea time. Very nice service. Really recommendable. Sign up in advance, then everything is freshly prepared.

Outstanding service. The baked apple was a poem and the other food (goose) is highly recommended!

We had our Christmas dinner first, we had reserved a table that was not reserved for the 2 ten times wrong table that is not nice if you complain but you have to work on it otherwise service is super friendly and gives recommendations and if someone wants something different Instead of what is there 90 percent feasible and food and drink come quickly even portions if they are large is said to be the same and really cheap and I would not have expected a lot of food. My wife and I have been to the Brunnenhof restaurant several times with guests. We always felt very comfortable.

Simply disappointing. A nice evening with good food and friendly staff was the expectation. The place was relatively empty.
A small starter with a kind of dip and 4 small slices of bread, of which 2 edges were placed without a word. Would never simply offer my guests 2 edges. Pretty primitive. I had already eaten the Brunnenhof pan there and actually wanted to write a different review after this visit, because the side dish of fried potatoes floated in the sauce, which is very tasty, but who wants to eat their fried potatoes dipped in sauce? The waiter had disappeared and was nowhere to be seen. Neither during nor after dinner did the question arise as to whether everything was OK. I know it quite differently from simpler places. It doesn't matter here. Getting another drink from that waiter that evening took patience. You want to enjoy the evening in peace and don't have to constantly wait for a drink. I could not find a wine on the menu, so I asked the waiter who, in his opinion, had put a wine there without asking if it tasted too. Impossible, because it was gone again. Put down and gone, the wine was fine, but dealing with guests is presumptuous. To top off the evening, we were asked to bring the bill, the voucher was simply put on the table without asking whether we would like to pay together or separately. We should also do the math ourselves. The waiter came back sometime and was obviously overwhelmed with the request that we want to pay separately. His surprise was surprisingly big when he didn't get a lot of tips and became a little grumpy. Except for the mistake with the fried potatoes and the starter, the food was okay, but the price / performance ratio should be reconsidered. The lack of service ensures that you don't want to go back because you feel like a disturbing guest. You really can't recommend that, too bad.

Very disappointing, sat down outside and were completely ignored. After asking, an operator came with a card, even though we were four people and took the drinks orders. After some time, the service came with the drinks, but we had not yet decided all for a dish, since we had only one card, so the operation went again. After that, we were ignored for 30min, then went in to pay, absolutely ridiculous, in no case a recommendation would dissuade in any case. Never again. Too bad that there is no way to give zero stars ...

One of my favorite restaurants in Hannover! Partly very quaint but still with a lot of charm and very friendly staff! Schnitzel and Kaiserschmarn are my absolute favorites

We are very disappointed .. with the cheese spaetzel the fried onions were black ... you don't serve something like that ... and we didn't have cheese threads either ... for me that is definitely part of the sparrow ... already higher prices ..

There is now (again / still) a good selection of dishes, and there is definitely something for vegetarians, too. The staff is super friendly and the food comes comparatively quickly.

Wonderful traditional German food. I stayed in the hotel that this restaurant is housed in, which is also lovely but would recommend this place to anyone - even if you are not staying at the Kaiserhof!

Very nice service even though it is super full, everything is going great. As always, food is delicious. Decided spontaneously without reservation and got a place. Remember New Year Reserve. Otherwise, always a point of contact.

We had to wait 45 minutes for our starter, a soup.
The wait was unfortunately not worth it, because the soup was without taste and too hot.

After many weeks of deprivation, we went out for the first time yesterday, May 16, 2020. The Brunnenhof is visited regularly by us, and has been for many years. Yesterday, however, we experienced a culinary disaster! More

Extremely pleasant, friendly and attentive service staff; pleasant atmosphere; the food was very rich and very tasty; "Special requests" (dessert that is not on the menu) are fulfilled without any problems; the price / performance ratio is reasonable. The waiting times for the food are very short, despite the restaurant being fully booked; For corporate events as well as for a dinner for two, we can recommend the Brunnenhof with a clear conscience!

Breakfast was great! Did really like it. In addition, a very, very nice staff. On top of that, it was also delicious!

A large variety of delicious cakes and pies for "tea time". Professional and friendly service. Highly recommended.

The food is good. Little service staff and long waiting times.

We ate here with six people at noon on the occasion of a birthday party.

First of all, the food was very good, the variety on the menu varied, here everyone could find something. For both the small and the big hunger, for vegetarians and meat eaters there was delicious in different price ranges and also a fine season ticket. There was nothing to complain about.

What unfortunately did not fit, was the service. He was underemployed and poorly organized. Of the six ordered appetizers, three came first. After about 10 minutes the fourth, there were the first three people already done with the soup. After that, about 15 minutes did nothing, then came four main courses. On demand, the waiter knew nothing of the missing appetizers and wanted to take back the plates with the mains, which we could prevent. After another five minutes, the missing two main dishes came along with the forgotten starters AND the promise of the clearly stressed waiter, "we will then take care of the coffee."

Beverage requests were recorded at the very beginning, after which we had to actively approach the waiter and after a very long wait (about 20 minutes) to remind them again. Nobody asked if there were any wishes.

The following dessert and coffee continued like this. So much for "we take care of your coffee" ...

Also with other guests we could see that they "ran after" the waiter.

It is a very nice cafe, with friendly staff. The coffee is very good in the taste. Cake excellent. More is not possible.

Upper middle class .. nice to sit outside but a bit noisy there on the station forecourt. But it gives a lot to see. Also very well maintained inside.
Not had cloth napkins for a long time. Is probably out of style. But they still exist here.
Had onion roast. Plate very hot. Meat well fried and good quality. The onions somehow fried with mustard ... what the "Hanoverian onions" are according to the menu and unfortunately without sauce.
Salad didn't come until two minutes later.
Friendly service .. but unfortunately didn't offer any coffee or dessert after the meal.
I don't have to go back ... I know the onion roast differently and better ...

Good restaurant with Austrian cuisine. Here are the Schnitzel still the way they should be. I had to give a star deduction unfortunately, because in the last months (almost years) the portions here have become smaller and smaller. Not that it must be XXL variants, but the Schnitzel have already lost in size. The kitchen itself has it! Absolutely recommended here is the ... the ...? Tar-tar! A PLEASURE! The schnitzel is served with classic warm cucumber and potato salad and cranberries. Incidentally, this restaurant has its name because, in the middle of the restaurant, there is actually a small delimited room with a water hole (the old well!) In which trout are kept and freshly made to order. Should you have eaten.

Great ambience in a beautiful basement with a waterfall and nicely set tables. But:

After we had reserved a table for lunch, but didn't want to just sit down, we stood around haphazardly in the area for 5 minutes, as there was no waiter in sight. After we had made out our reservation sign and sat down, we discovered about 5 people of the staff: They were standing in the office and chatting with the kitchen

We waited 5 minutes for the menu, then 10 minutes for drinks. After we got our food we found that it was maximally lukewarm. If you mean it well.
But again no approachable waiter far and wide
Our glasses stayed empty for half an hour during the meal and after someone came to dig up and we expressed our concern about the temperature we were told, "You could have said something. Then we would have brought you a new portion immediately." And this with a smug grin.
Then we were asked every two minutes by 3 different people whether we wanted coffee or desserts. The table was probably reserved again afterwards ...

Food was very good and service was good. Would recommend for dinner. Across the road from train station which makes it very handy.

Fantastic atmosphere at night, adored the meals here for dinner. Book a table to avoid disappointment, they are busy occasionally but especially at weekends. My sister is vegetarian and really loved her meal here, loads of several vegetarian choices also. The food really was excellent, could not believe just how amazing the prices were!. The people who work here are extremely kind and always very helpful specifically to my sis that has food allergies.

The portions are big, the food fresh and delicious!
All hygiene measures and provisions are meticulously enforced! Very exemplary !
