Zero teamwork between commission based salespeople. I worked my whole life in sales and it's sad to see when they are competing to the point that they need to take back a sale when a colleague clearly initiated a relationship already. Do it quietly amongst you by speaking to head cash who gets what but its distasteful especially when the person who says hello and asks to help first should really get the sale. It's how it works; my team never fought we all knew who was doing what and never had to resort to desperation. Your store is rocking and rolling. Relax. There's enough for everyone. 5 stars to the new guy who was sincere and kind to back down. Stand your ground though next time; being a rookie doesn't mean you can't be assertive to senior colleagues.
