Do not rent from this disgusting company. We left the house way in a better cleaning condition as compared to when we first had moved in and they try to charge us for petty things and lie that items aren t clean to take money from your bond and accuse you of damage that was there before. AVOID these thieves at all costs.
Also, they always delay to send contractors to do maintenance jobs, specially if it happens to be at the end of your tenancy, they try to claim that you have damaged the item which needs a simple repair out of many years of normal use. They were lucky I didn t have enough time and energy to take them to the court, as I was going through very tough times in my life, for taking almost all of my bond.

I am a tenant, and I highly recommend this Real Estate agent. Their property management section treat you with respect and answer your inquiries in a timely manner, and household management issues have been addressed very swiftly. I'm about to embark on a second rental with them simply because I've been happy with the service provided by this company. The staff are friendly and courteous which is really important to me and the services provided are exemplary.

Had at least 3 different real estate agents "manage" the property we are in, in the first 6-8months. Lied to us when we were signing the lease, tried to get us to pay for damage that was there when we moved in. Receptionist doesnt seem to pass on messages or the agents just dont call back. Not enough done to resolve issues fast enough. Wish id googled the reviews prior to going with them, decided to go back to renting private since having to deal with them. If someone becomes difficult with them, they lose their professionalism pretty dang quick!

I do not recommend anyone to use this company. Trust me, there's many more real estate companies out there that will treat you far better than my experience with them. Worst ever!

Both myself and my wife Alex have used Colin,Fiona,Karen,Jessica to manage our 3 investment properties for the past 5 years and are happy to continue using them.

During the last 5 years we have had challenges with tenants but luckily with Brown & Murray handling the tenants extremely well, the matters were resolved we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to deal with straight talking agents.

As all Landlords would know dealing with the public whilst carefully choosing a high quality tenants and handling them correctly, can prove to be challenging at the best of times, we have always found Brown & Murray Real Estate always deliver on their promises which is all we can ask as landlords.

I ve been a Huntingdale resident most of my life and rented from brown Murray for a couple of years before buying my home. In the last few months I ve had a couple of local agents through and spoken to them on the phone. Brown Murray have proven themselves to be the very best. From their head of department to their sales team, they have shown sincerity and empathy. I know I will be leaving handing my home in the very best hands with them.

First time I ve rented out a property so this process is all new to me. I looked at a few agents to compare fees and just to get a vibe off the property mangers.

The first meeting I had with a Brown Murray Real Estate I was instantly impressed by how detailed the information was, they advised of items that weren t brought up by the other agents and they took the time to go into detail about the fees which I appreciated.

The Property Manger was really friendly and felt comfortable with her so I decided to sign up that evening.

It has been a few weeks now and have already signed a tenant. I ve been provided with regular updates throughout the whole process, I receive responses to my emails very quickly and everything has run really smoothly so far.

I am very happy I chose this agent and would highly recommend Brown Murray.

If you do decide to rent from brown murray which i suggest you DONT make sure you take your time doing the property condition report when you move in. Note everything you can even if you think it is minor or they will charge you for it when you move out even if it was there when you moved in!! They try take every cent they can from your bond.

Just atrocious. DO NOT rent a property through these people. They lied to us when we began our tenancy. We kept our property clean, improved the grounds, always paid promptly, did repairs ourselves which spared the owners time and money, and when the lease was finished, we left the place significantly cleaner that when we found it. They then tried, and partially succeeded , in screwing out of money, arguing that the house "wasn't clean enough". Our previous agents were LJ Hooker who were excellent - we truly went from the sublime to the ridiculous with this lot of crooks. STAY AWAY

Primarily my dealings have been with Ingrid, I can not recommend her or BMRE more highly, very professional - easy to deal with - responsive - etc...

Have Been with Brown Murray for a year now, Have enjoyed our time with them. Our Property Manager is always on the ball, would highly recommend.

I was a tenant with Brown Murray for just under a year. Brown Murray went above and beyond expectations and catered for my family s changing needs (sending someone to open rental for private viewing, photo inspections during covid-19 outbreak for safety, extending lease, fixing locks immediately, etc.). Erica was our property manager and we were very happy with her work. Erica is very friendly and endeavours to fulfil all requests. Thank you for a stress free rental period.

Collin from Brown Murray was an excellent person to deal with when we were selling our house. He is an honest person who gave a realistic value on the property rather than an inflated priced like most others. Our house was sitting on the market for 6 months with another agent with no bites, we then engaged Collin and had an offer presented within a week. Would definitely recommend Collin and will be using him for any future sales.

First of all I would rate no stars if possible,
They do however deserve 5 for worst real estate in Perth, well done for that.
Poor communication, poor organisation, poor customer service and rude as f*** if I might add. the house we vacated from, we cleaned top to bottom, 100 times cleaner than when we moved in, but still wasn t good enough.

Oh and they falsely advertise freshly renovated on houses that aren t.

I have been with BMRE for my property management for 10 years. I am happy to say that they have always provided a very high level of professionalism and care in maintaining my property. I highly recommend their property management services. Thanks to Jessica, Collin and Fiona.

I resently found out julie taylor who worked for this company never told us that. the house we brought 7 years ago was listed at. $399,000 , we payed $418,000 because she. Never passed on all the information ...thanks julie $19,000 more than we should have payed ..

I am recent tenant of this real estate and my whole tenancy has been easily going. They reply back to my emails in a timely matter and always get any maintenance done. As I was in the process of moving out the house was broken into and junk left on the kerb and they were very understanding. Hoping to get my bond back in full as I have left the house and garden in better shape then what it was when I moved in

Disgrace of a company, from the get go our application was approved at $350pw by the leasing consultant and owner then told it was wrong we were to pay $370, clearly no one actually read our application.

Our property manager recently left and no one bothered to advise us or let us know who we should be communicating with I only know she left because I know her personally, I am still waiting to be advised who to contact in future.

After sending emails over 2 months ago as our hot water system was leaking at 4am then shut down, I tried to relight the pilot light but had no luck after several attempts then contacted the agent, the agency ( Fiona) did reply to this email to advise I must have a friend or someone who could do it for me? My reply was no my partner dad and brother all work away and I m 8 months pregnant, I am aware of how to light a pilot light and tried several times but it still would not work! now after 2 months we have been issued a termination notice due to not paying the invoice after I have sent 3 emails since and had no aknowledgement what so ever!!, the termination notice also states it s for non payment of a water invoice when I fact it s for the hot water system, they have no clue what they are doing !!

And as of today I am still waiting over 2 months for a reply to emails or a return phone call.

I don't really know where to start with these cowboys but it took them 4 months to get my bond back to me. I left the house in better condition than what it was when I moved in. My agent was Erica banks and she was not helpful at all and would take weeks to get back to me. Please people, save yourself a headache and DONT rent thru these people

My dealings with Jessica from Brown Murray has been nothing but brilliant.
It has been lovely and easy renting from when.
No issues with 3 monthly inspections and rent and water payments to reporting maintenance.
Jessica is such an asset to them.
Recently when vacating my rental she was very supportive in what steps to take.
Handing the keys in was quick and easy as was the final vacate inspection which had no issues at all, I got my bond back in full. Thank you.

Completely unprofessional and not at all helpful. The property management team flat out refused to assist us with our issues with their tenant - basically washing their hands of anything to do with the situation on numerous occasions. If I could give a lower rating I would.

We have just vacated a rental after 2 years. Erica was our property manager and she was nothing but fabulous to deal with. She was always helpful and understanding and made everything from inspections, issues and moving an absolute breeze! Thank you Erica and brown Murray!

Handed key back after moving out. Owner of the propertys father went into the house before the final inspection and dirtied the house/left stains on floor so i would get blamed to scam money out of my bond. Have pictures when i moved out perfect condition then get back final items that were not there when i left the property. Will be taking this matter further...

DO NOT buy or sell with this company. My son just recently bought a house from Collin at Brown Murray Real estate, On collection of the house keys we were met at the house with a disgusting smell when we opened the front door, and on inspection the seller left the house in a disgusting mess. We phoned Collin on 3 occasions which he never answered his phone, we also phoned the office on 2 occasions and left a message for Collin to call us, the next day we did the same again and to this day he hasn't replied to any phone calls or even called to the house to fix the problem. I managed to send pics via email of the mess ( Collin denies he received them but did receive the cleaning bill I attached in the same email !!!!). I tried for approx 2months to get hold of Collin but to no avail, numerous phone calls to his mobile went unanswered and even messages I left for him to call me went unanswered as well. Collin didn't want anything to do with this situation, he didn't care, if he did he would of done something about it. It took commercial cleaners and my son and I, 3 days to clean the house, oven and BBQ, I found Collin to be very unprofessional and I urge people not to deal with this real estate.

Useless and unprofessional staff. Very disappointed with my experience with the company. Would not recommend their service at all!!
