I had a great experience at Bosak Motors and my Salesman, Obi, was outstanding. I would send anyone I know to Obi at Bosak motors if they re shopping for a car.

I responded to a facebook ad they ran making offer on a car, they would not accept it and simply said I have to appear in person. I want to drive 100 miles just to have my offer rejected? I don't think so.

Long story short I should have left when they 1st showed me they didn't want me to purchase from them. I was approved through capital one. I came in with my approval. 1st they hit me with "you need a cosigner because you don't have a drivers license that didn't work because you don't need a drivers license to buy a car (I also had my license driver waiting to drive for me) I don't need a cosigner because I'm already approved through capital one. 2nd they said oh we can't finance you because you don't have proof of insurance(capital one is financing me not you)but I showed them proof. At this point I should have left but anywho. They got the car ready came to me and said 3rd capital one can't finance you because you need years of income proof and $4k. I call capital one found out they put a higher price on the car and no capital one didn't say that. Next they run my credit without authorization through 2 other companies after I said only capital one. They came back with some numbers the final price was correct but the payments were $604 a month which put the total price of the 2017 Ford explorer at 42k... The car only cost 21k after fees and taxes. The financial manager came over and told me because it's my first time buying or financing a car yes the final price is 42k.. WRONG this is not my first time and to assume and not ask is wrong also no way on God's green earth with the worst credit can financing cost over double what the car is worth or the asking price and if you didn't want me to purchase their because of my skin that should have been said. So I wouldn't deal with them and walked out after that. They didn't expect a dark skin female to have good enough credit to walk in already approved for a loan ,car insurance, sufficient income, proof of insurance, smart or aware enough to understand the numbers and have everything they asked for. Of course they swore they couldn't give me a copy of the pricing. I'll be in a 2020 Chevy traverse tomorrow. Nothing good will come to them.also capital one said when I go into the dearlship in the morning to have them on the phone so that they won't do any underhanded things at the next one like Bosak did. I should have chose my second choice in the beginning and I wouldn't have to have gone through that.
(just an update to the response) I never disrespected any in that facility. You can not use that nice try though. You showed how racist the facility is when the only response you could think of was to say that my rep was African American I'm not African American so you assumed yet again that. Why didn't you address all the other things I listed in this review?? Don't worry I'll wait

Completely shocked at the service departments customer service. Originally I spoke with Doug prior to taking my jeep to the dealership, who seemed great. When I arrived no one acknowledged me, not a big deal they had a few customers. Once Megan was freed up she greeted me. I explained what work I needed and that I would be gone for a few days on military training limiting my phone access. She started she would text me all the information and pricing. GREAT. However, when she texted me she, it seemed like she didn't know what she was doing and trying to overcharge me. Extreme price to change O2 sensors only need one change. She texted they didn't know which one and if I wanted her to guess. I stated, no I wanted it hooked up to the computer that tells you which one is bad. Its 130 to do a diagnostic. What!? Autozone does it for free! I lost trust and confidence in the service. Texted, to leave my car and took it somewhere else. Cost for the work at another jeep dealer 50% less than I was quoted here.

I took my car to multiple places that ran the diagnostic test and they all told me that the only issue I had was a cylinder 2 mis fire and one suggested that I take it to the dealership because they would fix it for free, so that s what I did. Went in June with an engine light on reading one code. They fixed the issue under warranty. When I went to pick up the car the engine light was still on reading 2 other codes. They said that the oil filter housing was broken and needed to be replace and quoted me $1000. Of course, they blamed it on whoever changed my oil. The next day my oil light came on then my car started stalling when I would make a sharp turn into traffic. I end up taking my car to someone else that fixed the issue that they caused. I still paid close to $1000, but I would rather pay someone that does honest work.

I have been purchasing vehicles from Bosak Motors in Merrillville since 1980, and recently just leased another Jeep! Luis Garcia is a fantastic sales consultant, and Nancie, the Business Manager was great!

This place has the worst customer service I ve ever seen. Dropped my car off at the service center and had to wait five days for ME to call THEM to ask what was going on with my car. And even then I had to call 7 times to actually speak to anyone. And ON TOP OF THAT they tack on $3,000 to the sticker price so you can "bargain" for what the car is actually worth. Headed to Carmax.

We drove out from Denver to pick up our car from them. Rocco was an amazing sales person and John his supervisor went above and beyond to help us out. We love this place and will drive all the way out again just to buy our next car from them. They are awesome people and I wish their dealership was located in Denver.

Buying experience was smooth. My salesman was cool with some great stories and most of the staff was helpful, however, the rate they got me on my loan was terrible - shortly thereafter I refinanced for almost half the APR. Also, they didn't mail me my plates, I had to call a few days before my temp plates were about to expire and they said "Oh yeah, we have them"

I had the stressful task of getting a new company car on short notice. I knew I wanted a Chrysler 200, but was not sure if I could find one in the price range and with the options I wanted. The salesman Andrew West at Bosak Merrillville took care of everything for me without the pressure and stress I ve always associated with leasing a new car and getting less for my money. Andrew found a car loaded with options for the same lease price my company had paid for the previous lease that had just ended. My old Chrysler 200 was a basic model with very few option, whereas the new car was loaded and in the colour I wanted. Andrew and the Bosak finance team worked closely together and sorted everything with my company concerning the terms lease payment details. I am very pleased with the car and the whole attitude of Bosak Merrillville.

This was my first time buying a new car and I must say the thought of getting monthly payments was a lot more scary in my head then the actual process thanks to Andrew West. Being serviced by Jeff, it appeared that he was inexperienced, even though it was stated at his desk he s been there for two years. While trying to assist us, he continuously went back and forth to his boss office. Every time he came from his boss office he had a new question to ask. As i asked him questions, he was not able to answer. As we were there for hours had to ask, Is everything ok? . As we were there for hours, this could have been cut down if Jeff was able to conduct business solely at his desk. No vehicle was purchased.

Bought a Chrysler 300 here, upgraded from a Jeep Liberty. The 24/7 Car Show was in full effect and the selection was great. Service is always a breeze here with their quick oil change lane and friendly service people.

I previously owned a Hyuandai Sante Fe, and before I went to Bosak I checked out a Hyuandai dealership to see about a potential trade in. I ended up having no luck there and decided to check out Bosak...literally the best car experience ever. My salesman was Andrew, and he was awesome. I can't express how knowledgeable he was about these cars. I was super impressed by that. I ended up buying a 2016 Jeep Patriot two days later! If it wasn't for Andrew & Jose I'm not sure I would be in the car that I'm in now. Those two were so helpful and made my experience pleasant and quick! I will def be back if and when I ever need a new car. Customer service was great!

They charged me to look at my vehicle while so called not finding a problem with it. When on my ride home. I still hear the clunking noise and was told its probably just the spare tire making the noise when obviously not. They took "7" hours to look at it but then told me it only took them an hour to find the solution and couldn't give me a call back. Spent 60 something dollars for the noise to still be there and be told it's "probably" the spare tire in the trunk making the noise. What a waste of time and money. RUN from this place. They didnt even know where my vehicle was. Smh

We test drove a few different options and he was straight forward with what each vehicle offered and the pricing. Even though I bought my Jeep from another dealership last year, I started going to Bosak for oil changes/tire rotation, due to them being very close to my home. I continue to go back to Bosak because they are AWESOME there. Everyone treats you professionally, but with that family feel.

My local Jeep dealership in Mishawaka seemed to want to give me the 'used car sales tactic and experience' trying to sell me something I didn't want to buy. I did give them the opportunity, however. The guys at Bosak delivered a great experience with the vehicle I wanted and gave me a very fair deal on my trade. He also took the extra time to go over everything, from the paperwork to the new Jeep I bought. Most of my deal was completed via email and phone communication, before I drove an hour and a half to seal my deal.

Came in for an oil change as I have many times before, however, this time there was nobody at the counter. So I waited nearly 10 minutes and yet nobody came up to me to say anything. So I finally get out of the car and go inside where nobody said anything except someone will be with you. Then I was about to say I've been waiting for 10 minutes and the guy puts up his finger so I told someone else. This person did call but yet nobody came so I just left. What a waist of my time. I was totally disgusted and will more than likely not come back here for an oil change. So very unprofessional.

I went to get my purge valve fixed. When I paid and went back to my vehicle I noticed the my leather steering wheel cover was damaged. So I went back to the shop and showed April the damage to my leather steering wheel cover. She told me it was wear and tear even though my steering wheel was in great condition before I got there but, I continued to tell her that my steering wheel Didn t look any thing like That before I got there that morning. She then got her manager who after explaining everything to him he told me it was wear and tear. He even so went so far as to tell me that I did that to my vehicle. My vehicle is only 4 years old. I had high respect for Bosak until today. They don t take accountability for there mistakes even when a customer is making a complaint. They could ve offered to fix my steering wheel cover or gave me a coupon. I ll feel that any customer that works hard for their vehicle would want it returned the same if not better than when you left it with them.

It was probably the best experience I have had with buying a new car. Sales Associate Zach Gross was friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. The price on the Jeep Patriot was what brought me to the showroom, and I was glad it did. My monthly payment goal was met. I would definitely return here for my next car.

Took my mini van to Bosak for vehicle inspection before driving to Colorado. Brakes started squeaking and had to have brakes fixed in Colorado after being given a clean go ahead. Figured I would give them a second shot at changing my oil. Oil plug put on so loose It came out and almost blew my engine on expressway. Another tow and had horrendous response from service dept. Worst place ever

Horrible experience!!!!!! Nancy S. in the title department was very rude and nasty after the fact that Bosak messed up our title work. When I asked her about being rude to my daughter her response was "and". I mean Really. She says she's feels she has the right to be rude if someone makes it seem like she's not doing her job. Liz tells us we can get a rental car no charge to us. First of all if it's not Bosak fault about the title work why would you give us a rental car? Any who we get to the car rental place and we are told that we had to pay, but yet Liz tells us everything was set up and all we had to do was show up. Liz then tells us to keep the car until we get the title work straight, Nancy S. in the title once again yelling at my daughter saying to bring it back the next day because we (Bosak) are not going to keep paying for a rental car for you (even though Nancy it's your fault we can't get plates for the car because you messed up the title work). I am very disappointed in the service we have received from this dealership and it will be a VERY COLD DAY IN HELL!!!! Before I ever purchase a car from the again!!!!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

We worked with Christian and he was attentive, knowledgeable, and a great conversationalist. We ended up buying our car from him after he was able to make us an exceptional deal. He communicated with us through the whole process, and we were happy to make the 150 mile trip from Indy to make a deal without compromising on the vehicle we knew we wanted. Although we are far away, we will direct all of our friends and family to Bosak and we will be looking for their help on our next purchase.

We visited Bosak 3 weeks ago to just test drive a Cherokee, but we weren't ready to buy at the time. We test drove with Chris Rudzinski and he was very pleasant. He never pressured us into buying at that time, he gave us his card and said to give him a call when we are ready. We went back to Bosak, because there was another Cherokee we were interested in. Gave Chris a call and met with him this past Friday. The car was all ready for us to give it a test drive. Chris took his time giving us every detail about the car and all the technology it had. It was a very nice car shopping/buying experience. We've purchased many cars in the past and Chris at Bosak is one of the top salesmen we have come across, he did an awesome job!

I went to bosak for the big sales event to buy a truck marked way below MSRP. I arrived Saturday morning, and as I was pulling into the parking lot the truck I wanted was being sold. Discouraged, I went home. The following Monday I went back to look at another truck that was also marked way down. That had also been sold. On my way back to my car a salesman stopped me. Rocco Santana. We got to talking, and I told him how many times I had been their to look at the deals. I asked him when the next sale would be, he said towards the end of next month. I gave him my number to call me when it starts. THE NEXT DAY he called me and said he talked to his new car sales manager and called Chrysler to push the sale up just so I could get my dream truck! I was blown away at the effort Rocco put towards getting me an amazing deal and now I'm driving the truck I've wanted for a long time. I will recommend bosak, and Rocco Santana to anyone who is in the market to purchase a vehicle. Thanks again Rocco!
