The food was good and the prices reasonable. The atmosphere seemed a bit dated. My husband and I are 30 years old, and we were about 30 years younger than the average customers there on a Friday night. Our server was distracted, was not attentive, and barely spoke or offered suggestions when we asked. Other servers in other tables did seem much more attentive and engaged.

We are traveling and taking a different route so we decided to stop based on the reviews. All the previous 4 or 5 stars are very accurate. Everything was exceptional. Cleanliness, quality of food, service, and ambiance. At first the prices seem a little high but for the quality of service, portion size, and food taste, it was well worth it. Added to my starred places so if we are back in this area we will stop again.

Brought a friend to enjoy your complimentary anniversary J loir wine. We set ourselves in the bar at 3 15 showed the waitress your anniversary coupon. She was unaware of this and acted very rude. We ordered the Chardonnay and she returned with the Cabernet, and two wine glasses with lipstick stains on them. I have been a customer of Brookwood Grill for over 20 years and I am so embarrassed by this experience since my friend has never been there.

Can't say enough great things about this place! The atmosphere with the piano makes the setting very warm and inviting. The food is out of this world and there is always a drink special that the friendly bartenders are happy to tell you about! I have made this place my go-to for meeting up with friends. See you soon!

I popped in here for lunch with a friend and ordered the crispy fish sandwich with mashed potatoes. The decor and atmosphere are very nice, and the waiter was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The fish sandwich was extremely bland and the potatoes were average. However, my friend let me try her smoked gouda mac and cheese and that was excellent. I also noticed several other items on the menu that I was interested in trying, and decided to come back later with my husband to give them another chance.

So my husband and I went back a few days later. He ordered the twin chicken breasts and I opted for the veggie plate. The chicken was -not- breasts. They were very small pieces of part thigh and leg, maybe a bit of the edge of a breast on them. They were mostly dark, fatty meat with bone. Not as advertised at all. Their sauce was good, however, and so was the rice, which thank goodness was rather plain because...My veggie plate was swimming in vinegar. It was so strong and tart I could not choke it down without mixing in large amounts of my husbands plain rice, and it was still difficult. WAY overseasoned. I couldnt quite tell where it was coming from, maybe the brussels sprouts (seasonal vege), and marinated mushrooms. They were all on the same plate so whatever it was coming from was so drenched in vinegar that it ruined the whole plate. Literally made my eyes water. The portions are very large, I'll grant that, but who wants to eat that much mediocre food?

The service this time was awkward and unprofessional. He handed over our drinks with his hands all over the rims, had bad timing on refills and checkups (at 3:30pm it was not busy), placed down the box of leftovers onto spilled food and drink so that I had to clean it, and was spotted sitting down at dirty tables (??? Weird!) while we were looking around for our check.

This might seem to be a bit nitpicky, and I would agree if we were at a ten dollar a plate diner. But this restaurant pretends at fine dining. Our total was ~ sixty dollars for two medium priced entrees and teas. No appetizers, alcohol, or desserts. It has nice enough decor (notwithstanding the broken booth seat my husband and I had), but the food and service are not much better than your average chain Chili's, Applebee's, etc. They are overpriced.

With so many truly excellent local restaurants around with much better food, prices, and overall value, we won't be returning here. Overall, they seem to put a nice veneer on with the decor and pretty plating, but the food (the most important thing!) is not fresh or cooked properly, not all of the servers are well trained, and at least some of the booth seats are old, busted, and uncomfortable. All facade, no substance, I'd much rather pay the prices they charge for the opposite.

Edit: Really happy that the owner responded positively. Thank you for that...have emailed you. Update: Unfortunately, they never responded to the email they invited me to send.

First time at Brookwood Grill was amazing. Our steak was a bit redder than we wanted, so Peter the manager went above and beyond any manager of any restaurant. He gave us a whole new meal and more!!! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

My son and I shared a Fajita small order for lunch. There was enough for each of us plus some to take home. It was very good! The service was prompt and courteous. Going here next with friends for my birthday in a couple of weeks!

Decent place with a really great ambiance. I think the wine list is 5 stars. French onion soup was spot on and the ceasar salad too. The entrees really lacked in flavor. Prime rib was unspectacular, cooked correct but not a good cut of meat. Friend had ribeye..same result. Pasta dish...sauce was from a jar or at least tasted like it. Not worth the price with so many other options in town

The Brookwood Grill is always great. I have been a frequent customer since 1991. The only great things they have eliminated is the Wisconsin Cheese Soup and the Blonde Brownie.
They remain my standard for Special Occasions. Great Food, Great Service, Great Atmosphere.
We had the pleasure of having dinner at The Brookwood Grill this evening, 05 /27/2020. It was a great experience to be able to be there again.
Thanks Kendall for making our evening outstanding.
We will be back very soon.

Good food ! Food is sumptuous. High-quality ambience. Live music certain days. Drinks are just a little pricey. Calamari is different (can skip). Sweet potato fries are great. Scallops and risotto dish is good. Other seafood dishes are good and reasonably priced.

The good...was quickly seated on a busy Friday evening and our server was very attentive. The not so good...the food on the other hand was mediocre. I got the filet with potato cake and Mac and cheese. My boyfriend got lobster ravioli which shrimp and added salmon. The kiddo got chicken tenders which he quickly gobbled up so they must have been good. The steak was cooked to order but still fairly tough. I didn't enjoy the chewy texture and lack of flavor. In my opinion a good steak doesn't need much, but it certainly does need butter, salt and pepper. Mine didn't taste like it had any of the above. My boyfriend's ravioli was dripping in rich cream sauce...a little too much which made the ravioli soggy. The sauce overpowered the seafood. I don't know about you, but I like to be able to taste my seafood. The bottom line, I wouldn't recommend it.

#truereview should have tried the prime sirloin but went with the ribeye, which was not listed as prime but the waiter said it was. The steak was tougher than prime and not quite worth the price. The salad was fresh along with the croissant that came with it.... very nice. The butternut squash was spot on and the sweet tea was perfect. Excellent staff.

I crave their chicken tender salad literally EVERY DAY! It is easily a meal that can be split between two people, or maybe even 4 if you're not as big of eaters. Wait staff is amazingly friendly and very accommodating!

I've ordered take out several times...my first visit was a great take out order..each time after its been less the satisfactory.

Ate once inside, ordered the tuna and seafood soup...sorry to say...the soups bowl was cold and was the the shrimp that was put in for garnish soup it self was declious and spicy enough to my liking...the server/servers cooks and chefs should be aware of cold food cold plates and hot foods hot plates...

...the tuna's presentation was great but the plate was mid warm and the sauce room temperature to mid cold...

I'm sure Brookwood can do better considering the prices....

..if they need help I'm a good Cook/Chef and can start as a prep to season the grounds under my feet and then moving forward where needed...part time only, ha?

I will return for lunch or dinner because I'm interested in the menu.

Amazing! I just moved to Roswell from Alpharetta and got a gift card in the mail for $25. We ended up using it for our anniversary and the food was really good! We got the tuna steak sandwich with gouda mac & cheese and shrimp scampi. I will definitely be back!

Great food. Flavors were awesome. Only complaint was the couple we went with had a coupon for a BOGO entree with purchase of an appetizer and dessert. The server put the discount on my check, and when they pointed out the missing discount, the server took both checks and removed the discount from my check. While I didn't earn that discount, you really can't "unring the bell".

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. It's the closest thing we have to Houston's in Roswell. LoL. The steaks are good (Ribeye is heaven), and the desserts are extraordinary for a Grill.

I had my partner s birthday celebration here. They were very accommodating to our large party. The food was amazing and the menu provided a variety that everyone was very happy with their choices. The portions were huge. Even with the 18 people they did not mess any of the orders up. Great place!

We have been eating here for years and truly appreciate the consistency with the high quality of food and service. We are creatures of habit and always get the lobster ravioli and filet. We started bringing our kids with us a few years ago and now greatly enjoy the Belgium waffle dessert with every visit! Highly recommend and will return again and again!
