It's our second time being at brookstreet and while we booked this for a romantic getaway, we knew that given it was family day weekend it would be busy. But aside from the pool, it was perfect. The rooms are nice and the food is great.

A group of us came to see Miguel De Armas as we normally do and unfortunately the topic of our conversation for a few minutes of the evening was the miserable bartender that we've not seen before. She must be new, or new to the Options side. Regardless, there is no need for that kind of demeanor. We've always overlooked the high turnover of staff as usually it's an indication of internal issues however we could not ignore her snotty regard to patrons who've been coming here long before she.

We went to Options lounge jazz bar at the brookstreet they had good drinks and lots of different choices, the food was good. The service was good but the waitress was not too friendly but maybe she was just having a bad day. Overall it was nice to go somewhere with jazz music. And the decor was very nice.

Nice clean room and facility. No public ice machine took over an hour to get ice to our room after 4 calls to the front desk. Fire alarm went off at 130 am and a large crowd waited in main lobby for close to an hour with no direction or communications from hotel staff while fire dept. Was present

We had a terrible experience the room had nude paintings and pictures and hands out like they're looking for handouts I couldn't believe the two people that I checked us in the last time we had a bad experience where my daughter got into a spray bottle that was left in the room and started spraying around got it in your eyes we had to call Poison Control they told us to come back and stay again they offered us free breakfast vouchers and free parking for two vehicles for 2 days had a wonderful rate of $109 a night we just left and I had to send an email to Amanda Monroe and Mark Nisbet I was very disappointed with my stay and I was not impressed with the service I asked for my bedding to not be changed after the first day by leaving a please do not disturb sign on my door I called down to the front desk to ask for my $10 voucher for being green and not changing my sheets every day and I was told by the lady at the front desk that I needed to notify them 12 hours in advance that I did not want my bedding changed in order to be eligible for the $10 dining voucher I said to the lady that I was speaking with that I did not wish to argue with her is she did not want to give me the voucher then I would just post what happened to me online the card in the room says just leave this on the dresser and we will leave the voucher I put up the do not disturb sign so they didn't come in and the lady wanted to actually argue with me I can't believe it even for $100 a night I still don't feel like it was worth the value and the worst part of it all is we were here for family day and there were seven vehicles in the outside parking lot the pool heater wasn't working because the water was really cold in the hot tub feels more like a lukewarm tub

A small issue with our package booking turned our pleasant getaway to a scheduling nightmare. Their unwillingness to give us an early check-in/late check-out resulted in me having to leave our breakfast after 10 minutes, our massage appointment early, run to the room to pack, back down to the desk to check out, leave our bags, and then back to the spa to finish our treatments. Be warned that they don't want you to use all of the amenities you've paid for.

Great experience, comfy room, nice dinner reception and pool area is great for all including young kids. Only drawback was a bit of a wait to check-in with multiple Christmas parties booked last night.

Location isn't exactly ideal and will require a vehicle to get around. We were lucky to have one and the hotel was kind enough to give us free parking. Rooms are spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. The hotel has a lot to offer with a massive gym, swimming pool and restaurant. If you can forgo the location and prefer to stay in luxury (with the added price) then this is the hotel for you.

Staff are very friendly. Very nice and chique hotel.
The outdoor pool and jacuzzi are fantastic; a great weekend getaway. The only downside is that the room smelled a little mucky and the B cafe closes early on Sundays!

High end hotel. Stayed for New Year's Eve 2017 to ring in 2018. Bar and pool/hot tub were packed, and underground parking was full so they opened an overflow area. Two weddings contributed to the crowds. The only glitch for the stay was being put in a room next to one with two yappy dogs, otherwise it would have been a 5 star stay.

The Jazz Lounge at the Brookstreet Hotel is a very nice piano bar. Saturday night there, with Miguel de Armas and his band, is amazing! Having such a good music here in Ottawa makes this place yet more special. We enjoyed the music and the ambience.
