Super rad place. Vendors have the most amazing little stuff for good prices and the food is greattt. Been there to some free shows that play at midnight and getting there a bit to eat something and maybe play some air hockey before some music is just great.
I am interested in working here, and was told this would be a terrific place because of the polite staff, and great service, just what I am looking for.
this space is alright, the burger spot in here is worth 4stars at least
Been here a couple times. Always a great place to see a show or other event.
Small venue, really good use of the space though, really intimate spot for seeing a band play
Great venue. Love their no tolerance for racists policy
Cool multi room venue. They book real cool bands. This is the new Europa!
They book great shows but it isn't ideal for shows.
Much smaller than it's previous incarnation. The food stands are nice, the play area is much smaller, and the other stands offer merch that's mostly female-oriented.
Came here last weekend for an event. Really enjoyed the layout and the different rooms. My only complaint is the smell in the basement!
Really fun show venue, like an old school bar mitzvah hall or something. They have wine on tap!
Horrible. They mismanaged the booking and timing of the artist for the Juggalo unity tour. Definitely need to improve communication with performers
I went there for a show and it was a great venue for it. Exactly as advertised
The bazar is nice and so the music, but for the food, next time I will definitely go somewhere else.
Funky Venu in a transitioning neighborhood. Wide variety of shows and acts.
went with friends for a bday. its a good place to hang out for food and beer. the wares they sell aren't anything amazing. random shops every week so its good i guess. price is decent.
Really only good for shows. There wasnt much else going on and the bar/atmosphere is blah
Solid local grocery with aisles you can actually navigate and great deals.
crazy, i used to go to this place as a child for Polish receptions and weddings. Now drunk young adults make out and pass out here. huh
What a fantastic venue. Multiple rooms, very clean and the staff keeps the crowd control. Was impressed with this place.
No more mini golf or arcade games. Just concert and banquet hall and restaurant
The bouncer was really rude and not willing to let us in in the rain. The place was empty and he was trying to impress his friends standing around him.
I went to the Brooklyn Bazaar a few years ago and remember it being a wide open flea market setup with music, food vendors and great beer. I visited a few weeks ago and found out they recently moved. The new venue is a banquet hall ( think mid 90's tacky wedding venue or potentially old strip club ). There were more members of the kitchen staff ( 9 people ) than customers in the building. I was told there would be ping pong within an hour of getting there, so I waited - I already trekked 40 minutes to get there. I ordered some wings from the kitchen. $13 for 7 wings. I figured it would come with a side or would be massive, juicy wings. I was completely wrong. The wings were alright - but should have been $8 maybe. I asked about the ping pong and the guy that runs it didn't show up. So a wasted night. Its not how it was - plenty of other places to visit in the area.
Not really worth it. Decent variety of food options but kitchsy vendors.
Great venue for shows. Three very different rooms, other small areas to take a breather, decent drink prices.
Professional, clean, and just a great place to see bands.
Went with my boyfriend to see our favorite band Revocation ..a must see .. great venue we had a great time ..bathrooms need some love but we had fun
Interesting venue with comedy and music. Definitely try the fried chicken
Great spot for supporting smaller musical acts and other artists. Good food and beer to browse through if you're early and want a bite before the show.
One of my favorite venues to see a hardcore show! Sounds great, no bouncers, and super cool downstairs. I saw the greatest hardcore band in the world here, Silence Equals Death. I was blown away by the outstanding performance!
The venue upstairs feels like a cozy dance hall which makes for an intimate show. Sometimes the floors get super sticky with all the beer and drink spills. When it does get crowded it gets hot and not much room to move. Other than that, you get to see performers up close and enjoy the show if you're within 5 rows in front.
Very unique, creative and fun venue, awesome food, lots of space and always a great musical mix
Fun fun fun place, it's a corky cool awesome space to see a show or party with friends. I loved the space, it's got something special , a certain eastern European style from another era to it that makes it super cool. Multi levels , multi rooms. Would definitely visit again.
Weird place, but I dig it. Cool vendors. My bf got an awesome button down shirt from a very nice gentleman who sews them in his basement (sounds sketch, but they're actually very nice quality). I got my new favorite "Ohio" necklace to commemorate our National Championship win. Go Buckeyes! All-in-all you can find some gems if you really look for them.
Super chill.
Even got veggie options. Fried tofu Burger
Burger was amazing..... bar had limited beer. Decent venue for shows. This use to be an old catering hall (Polanaise)
The bartender was rude and told us that he wouldn't serve us anymore cause we where not giving him tips for every round we had. We had to explain ourselves and say that we where going to pay tip before leaving as we were doing that all our holiday and we thought it was ok to do it that way. He could perfectly tell that we weren't from the US and he embarrassed us in front of other customers. EXTREMELY RUDE.
Nice venue
Nice neighborhood
Great old school Polish event venue. Complete with disco ball and American cuisine fare in the restaurant next to it. I was here for a comedy festival and this place is old and a tad dingy but three floors and about 6 separate rooms perfect for down and dirty comedy festivals..and maybe a crazy wedding or concert.
Had a great time at one of their shows. Lots of rooms to catch a breather. Bar is limited, prices are not bad at all, no limes though. They do have pinball and a kitchen, so that makes up for limes. Go, you'll like it.
Very congenial venue for performances on second floor. Efficient and courteous, helpful staff.
Venue was a great host to Skankfest 2018. I was impressed by the staffs ability to manage all the talent amongst the masses of fans and keep everything running smoothly. From the outside looking in issues were non-existent, which is rare for a festival.
Good concert hall which allows a real relationship with the groups. Good rock, punk, indie programming. The entrance fee is very reasonable
I came here for the Oddities flea market. It was just OK. I got to see a handful of vendors I liked, but the curator could definitely afford to expand their horizons. I probably would not go to this flea again... but the space itself is nice. I see they do shows here and I'd totally go to this venue if there was a band playing that I was interested in.
Located in a quiet area in Brooklyn the Brooklyn Bazaar is great place to catch a show. It's an intimate setting with great acoustics. There isn't much seating at all if that's what you're in to. The venue itself is upstairs which features a well stocked bar (beer, wine, liquor, and frozen drinks). Some smaller venues get hot quick when there's a lot of people crowding in but I didn't get that here. All in all, a great experience, would go back again definitely.
Great venue for seeing bands. They have food, bar, and clean clean bathrooms! There's plenty of space, and its very accessible (right next to the G train)
To do everything that the Brooklyn Night Bazaar offers all in one date will require a great deal of commitment, but if you and your love are up for the challenge, there s great rewards in it for you. Goof off with mini golf and arcade games, sing your feelings at each other in the karaoke rooms, grab a fantastic dinner and drinks at Brooklyn Star, shop artisanal wares and vintage tchotchkes in the weekend bazaar and see an amazing performance in the concert venue.
Really cool venue located in Greenpoint
Went there for the Oddities Flea mark they have multiple levels a great food place you can play pool pinball grab a bite really good burritos burgers and dogs you can see a concert also had a great time staff is very friendly and helpful
I love this venue. 3+ rooms for different performances at the same time. Large full service bar.
I went for the summer film series. Super comfy. Really nice IN DOOR A/C venue for a hot summer night. Thanks !
An iconic staple in Brooklyn's Greenpoint community however I know it as the hosting ground for the Oddities Flea Market. Amazing vintage venue, with all original flooring, wallpapers mirrored walls, etc... Looks like it came straight out of the 80s/ 90s. It's the perfect location for The Oddities flea market that Ryan and Regina Cohn so graciously host a few times a year in BK.
It s very small. And there s not much variety of offered goods.
Great venue, in a hipster part of Brooklyn. The staff are friendly and had excellent service.
Love the vibe, chilled ate drank and saw animal show, great night
Good friends great highlights & excited show. If you are looking for the place to be with your friends. This is the place. Don't FOMO
Great music, great dancing, great people. The only complaint is that there wasn't a coat check when we were there (apparently sometimes there is?), which is a bit absurd during the winter time.
This place was weird and kinda dirty, but Skankfest...
