This is a beautiful venue for special events. Last night I had the privilege of attending the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame ceremony. It was outstanding! My sole complaint: some of your staff are salty as hell, so rude and intimidating. They scared all of the drunk white women lol! Teach your employees to be more polite please.

The stadium architecture and overall design is amazing. This post apocalyptic space boat has a green roof and access from 11 train lines. Lower level seats are very comfortable and spacious but prohibitively expensive for most events. Upper level seats are not good for tall or wide folks and are also expensive for most events.

Seating isn't the greatest for most events outside of basketball. Food at most the vendors isn't the best either unless youre in the VIP/suite/lounge area. There the service is impeccable and the food is great. I will have to say all the ushers are very knowledgeable when it comes to seating and have always been helpful

All round great stadium. We watched the Brooklyn Nets host the Orlando Magic, and the seats we had were perfect. I don't think you could have a bad seat in the stadium though, you are really right onto of the court. The staff were super friendly too, and always pointed us in the right direction

Security, staff and all people inside are courteous and polite.
Just saw the MTV Vid awards and had a hard time seeing the stage, the huge center TVs were not so clear and just pointed in one direction, the camera man didn't really change the angle or zoom in much.
The food courts had a lot to offer. I had the pasta with meatballs in a little dish with lots of cheesy sauce. It was different and served fresh and warm.
They forgot to chill the zinfandel which they sell at $12 a glass and served it in PLASTIC-Not worth the value since the bottle isn't even $12. But it was zinfandel made in BROOKLYN.
Onwards to the seats, had to walk halfway around the stadium to find the seats.
After the long walk I had to remove my shoes (heels) to walk down the steep steps.
I found the seats small and not enough space between the rows.
Getting up and down was not as many rotations as Madison Sq. garden which made it a nicer exit.
Leaving the stadium we peeked in at the 1st floor.

Parking is nonexistent so either take mass transit or find a parking facility. Its a decent place to see a basketball game. Plan on arriving at least 45 mins before the event. You will need to walk pretty far to reach this place no matter how you travel. Tight security and typical concessions stands with overpriced beer, junk food and bottles of water.

Took the family to see the circus. Getting in the door was mayhem, and dangerous for so many small children. People had to pass through metal detectors and screening so thousands of people scrunched together trying to pass through 8-10 metal detectors. No line management and no announcements. No supervision. Though arriving 30 minutes early, we missed the start of the show. Then, $15 for a bag of cotton candy and $9 for a dinky box of popcorn. Barclay's Center.....never again!! Back to MSG for me.

I went to the Barclay center for the first time ever with my family to see the New York Liberty and the Seattle storm on August 11th, 2019. From the time we walked in the door till the time we left the building the customer service was horrendous. To specify we were not greeting while entering the VIP section because we had suite tickets for family. They automatically assumed we needed to be at a different entrance. finally when we were able to speak to explain that we were in the right place they gave us attitude about checking us in. Than when the game concluded and we were gathering our belongings to leave our suite and staff member entered and asked if we had tickets to enter this suite, our answer was of course how else would we have gotten in? when we left we stopped at the rest room right outside the suite, and found that same staff member leaving the suite with a plate of food that was left over from our suite. My family and I than proceeded to the court where we were going to meet a close friend who played on the Seattle Storm. On our way to the court the staff were literally shooing us away with their hand motions to turn around and go the other way before letting us speak to tell them why were walking in the direction toward them. Finally they stopped shooing us away for us to explain we needed to head to the court. a staff member told us the younger children under five did not need the wristband to go to the court, as this staff member was explaining where we needed to go another staff member came over and jumped in when they did not know the details of what was going on and aggressively started talking to us and telling us something different from the other staff member in a very derogatory tone and manor that was very unprofessional and not polite manor. We finally get to the court side and once again we were shooed to go to the other side of the court when we directed to go in the direction we were going in. At this Point of aggravation with the staff being unprofessional and rude I was at my limit. the security on the court were extremely rude considering what my family and I had to deal with on our way down to the court, they just added. this specific security man name Louie was talking to my kids very disrespectful he told the older girls to "tell those little kids and make them stop running around and they need to sit down" these girls are twelve and ten. You don't speak to a persons child to get their other children, you simple ask the adults if they can have their children to sit down. then my sister in law and i went to the restroom in the players tunnel leading to the locker room with no issues. my brother was standing near the hoop when we came back. when we came back my brother went to use the restroom in the same tunnel. where there was a number of guards were located this same rude guard Louie jumped and asked the other guards where my brother was going to keep eyes on him. I gave him a look and did not say anything to him because his attitude and mannerism were very disrespectful and rude. He than turned to me and told me that i could not stand next to the bleachers I needed to go sit down also in a disrespectful manner. By this time I had enough of this guard and the entire staff and was ready to take the kids and my family and leave without seeing the close friend we were waiting to see. i spoke to the head supervisors on the shift. They were the only people in the building that were respectful and apologized for the disrespect we experienced throughout the building. we have been to a number of facilities and this by far was the worst experience we have ever had. My brother has played overseas in man countries and has played in the NBA so like I said we have been to a number of places and this by far was the worst experience ever!
