GREAT cup of coffee. Oddly eclectic space, price for that coffee insanely high.
Love coming here to get my fav drink a vanilla chai
Good for what it is in a place with not so many coffee shops.
An excellent brew: flavourful and strong. Great service and a nice set up too.
Nice lil Jawn right by the navy yard in Brooklyn. Super strong coffee and a nice space in back with a rec room vibe that has 2 ping pong tables. Dont really get how coffee and ping pong mix but whatevs.
Bit overpriced but the coffee is great and the staff are friendly. If you re allergic to hipsters or, even worse, hipsters into running (in packs), choose your time slot wisely.
Lots of seating, bright and clean space. Delicious coffee, friendly staff.
Decent coffee place. There wasn't anything that really jumped out about this spot, but it gets the job done if you're looking for a drink. They have a few pastries to go along with a decent selection of beverages. It's fairly small and very echo-ey, and there are only a couple tables and booths - timing is everything if you need some space. Otherwise, it's mostly bar top seating around the outside.
Cool little coffee and tea place, conveniently located right outside Steiner studios!
Current cafe attention current local current. Not bad to stop to go to the toilet
Very nice spaces with huge windows (but nicely air conditioned). Perfect place to sip and work or chat.
Coffee tastes like it's brewed once in the morning and sits in a metal vat all day.
Coffee is strong. Place has a sedate and somnolent feel, in contrast to its former use as a go-go bar back in the gritty old days when the Brooklyn Navy yard was just that. Now it s a go-to place for well manicured people in their 20 s and 30 s. The floor to ceiling windows allow plenty of light in and give you a front row seat to the frenzied traffic flow of flushing avenue.
Coffee was ok but a little overpriced. There were plenty of places to sit.
Not my taste but only coffee shop in my area, decor is very eclectic seem to be trying to appeal to the hipster market.
Old fashion coffee house, great service, great coffee, great snacks!!!
Their iced latter was delicious. To die for. Perfect on a hot summer day. The shop is also very spacious but underutilized in my opinion. Sporadic placement of chairs and tables don't allow my even breif moments of intimacy.
Sort liked it better when it was a Navy Yard legit dive bar and the rest of the building was owned by an Architect to store his salvage collection. Bonus to gentrification is that Brooklyn Roasting has killer coffee. My only issues are their hours 7am-7pm weekdays and 10/12-5 on weekend ... people should have access to good coffee 24/7 or at least 6am until 12am lol.
Fast service, clean environment and great coffee selections
Relaxed environment with bright lighting and ample seating. Didn't check out the adjoined recreational area. Coffee was really good. Even drip had tons of flavor. Cheap coffee with great taste
Ping pong and coffee! What could be wrong with that? I don't find myself near the Brooklyn Navy yard that often but it's nice to find a familiar spot for a cup of Joe. I didn't inquire as to what it took to play ping pong but it's always good to have an option of sport with your coffee. They have pastries from colson's which is one of my favorite bakeries in Brooklyn. They sell t-shirts and socks if you want to get some Brooklyn roasting company memorabilia.
They have an outpost in the building with Russ and daughters and the upcoming expanding Food Hall, as well which has nice views.
Very good coffee and nice breakfast treats. Place is cozy and a great place to work...
Great relaxed coffee joint. V quaint.... Good pit stop for me after wondering in the industrial wasteland that surrounded it.
Coffee tastes burnt and sub par. Now if the price was less expensive than maybe it would be worth drinking burnt coffee. But they are also overcharging you for all of their items which are most likely bought wholesale. Very disappointing spot in an area where so many people need their coffee.
Coffee is good. Interior is amazing and the place very spacious. You can play table Soccer or Table Tennis.
Solid wifi in a nice hipster atmosphere. Lots of movie production peeps coming in from Steiner studios...maybe you'll get discovered!
The employee was rude and ignorant to my demand asking for Latte in the blue cup, yet she put it in the red cup which is small I believe. She said you got to ask for double expresso shot. Guess what if I ask for blue you got to give it to me or at least say something why not or what s up.
A lady before me ordered ICE TEA and barista gave her black coffee I knew it s not gonna be good. Very unpleasant. And the tables are DIRTY!
Delightful place to stop for a coffee and pastry. The place is always impeccably clean, staff friendly and the atmosphere is cool and inviting.
Laid back atmosphere, great appearance and decor... And the coffee was excellent
Amazing place and more important the coffee just great
Terrible coffee and no atmosphere. No idea how it's rated as high as it is.
I have been coming here since it opened. Great place to end a run or bike ride. Also good people watching if you want to see people running or cycling to work. Coffee is solid.
Nit the typical coffee roasters that sells fresh roasted beans and good coffee. I have tried Americano and Cortado, taste was ok. Beans are not looking fresh, no roasting date marked.
My go-to spot for budget-friendly coffee beans that taste amazing. So many options, 1 lb for $15 when you reuse their coffee tins. Their nitro coffee is on point. It's bitter, strong and foamy like a Guinness beer.
Nice place for a coffee or a break. Stopped here on my walk from the Brooklyn bridge to the smorgasbord market on a Saturday and let nice to stop for a bit. They had free wifi as well :)
Great atmosphere good staff and only good vibes in this place. I recommend to anyone who likes a little more than coffee from your neighborhood coffee shop.
A cool place I advise everyone to go there. There is no authentication.
I love this coffee shop. They have fast service and their pastries are really delicious. I pop in every morning to grab a cold brew on my way to work and they also have a selection of food items for quick bites like sandwiches and yogurts.
Good bread and good coffee - but also quite expensive for the corner
These new sandwiches are great! I miss the dough donuts though.
Came across this place my accident while exploring Brooklyn...... Best accident I've had! Great food options and tasty, loved the coffee and the staff were super friendly and helpful! I'll be enjoining the coffee I brought (in a great Brooklyn tin) in the U.K. by Sunday and telling my friends all about this place!!
Nice coffees beans, nice place, not fancy. Friendly
Great coffee and the ping pong tables in the back are a plus
Love the variety of coffee beans here and love being able to support a local business chain. The fact that they roast their beans here in New York, on site is amazing and provides for an insanely fresh cup. Brooklyn Roasting Company beats the heck out of Starbucks in all categories. The people who work in the various locations are all very friendly and have a great sense of humor. I talked with one barista the other day about the Eric Andre show for 10 minutes while he prepared 7 various cups of espresso drinks for my crew and I over at Steiner Studios. We laughed together as we reminisced over the absurdity of said talk show host's show. Ive always had great encounters with the staff. Support local!
Nice spot for a quick cup or if you're going to stay and work for a little while. Has prepared food and pastries as well. Slightly overpriced.
Great bike stop along the waterfront. Definitely check out their larger location in DUMBO.
Best coffee shop in Clinton Hill. A little out of the way but worth the walk.
Love this location. No customers were there when I stopped by at 10am this morning, but the employee behind the counter was ridiculously handsome and lovely.
I appreciate the restrooms. I don t appreciate how overpriced they are but tis a hip coffee shop in NYC lol
Coffee was alright. A little pricey but good enough. Would be back if walking by but wouldn't aim to go here for coffee. The shop itself was really cute though and looked perfect for a date or to study
Spacious and bright coffee shop right on flushing. The coffee is always good here most importantly, a nice strong cup. Enough room inside to grab a seat and hang for a while and not be in anyones way. Plus they have a bathroom for customers!
Love the coffee, the place, and the baristas. This is the way all coffee should be roasted, prepared, served, and enjoyed. #whatthehellismarzipan
great coffee, great space, super nice staff. extra points for ping-pong table.
great coffee, pleasant service and very relaxed atmosphere , i wasn't too impressed with selection of pastries , but maybe it was a wrong time of the day.
Very chill and cozy, great place to hang out, the iced coffee ( and everything in general) is great
We stopped in here on a break from the 5 boro bike ride for a coffee and a vegan strawberry muffin (the only thing they had left after the other riders ransacked the supplies). It was dirty, but that was probably because of bikers like me rolling through in large numbers and destroying the place.
Great selection of different varieties and roasts. Relaxed. Environment interesting for industrial art photos.
Lots of seating, bright and clean space. Delicious coffee, friendly staff.
