Love this museum, just make sure that as soon as your in to sign up for the infinity room..if not you won't be able to see that exhibit..then you have 45 seconds to take pictures so have your phone ready

A place for contemporary art junkies. Beautiful architectures. You have to reserve the free tickets at the beginning of the month to get in. Once you get in, go reserve your spot for the Infinity room. The experience for that room is worth the wait.

Hey, this museum is a must in Los Angeles, free, amazing, good staff, they randomly explained to me some of the art over there, the place is nice, well illuminated, clean toilets, nice art, some things that clearly aren't art, but well, art business at its best. Perfect to spend there during a rainy day or a very hot day

Amazing building filled with amazing art. Loved everything from the shaped concrete entrance (you ride through on escalator) through the Warhol's to the weird and wonderful Takashi Murakami. Reserve your free ticket in advance to avoid the queue.

An LA must if you enjoy modern art. Beautiful facility with excellent exhibits. The Infinity Room is the main attraction, so budget ample time to wait in line if you're interested in that exhibit.

Put it on your list and take your time to go and see this museum. Of you like modern art you will appreciate the art inside, of you like architecture this construction is a great architectural structure.

Be sure to sign up for the infinity room early. We were a bit late and wasn't able to check it out, but I bet it would have been cool. Be sure to reserve your museum tickets online. You'll only have to pay for parking when you get there. I also had the chance to be at the museum during the free tour slots and the tour was definitely worth it. The guide helps you to see what the artists were trying to convey. Definitely join the tour if you get the chance.

It was good because it was free. But I had to wait 2 hours for the infinity room in Broad. It was a weekday and I waited for 2 hours even though there was almost no waiting line for the infinity room.. Anyway, it was worth seeing!

Nice museum with nice art, although the meanings of many of the abstract exhibits were sometimes unclear (although contemplating these exhibits were admittedly thought provoking). The infinity room was wndefuke, aside from the fact that we only had 45 seconds to view the room, which unfortunately made for some low quality instagram pictures :/ I also enjoyed the giant ballon animal exhibit until I realized it was made of multiple phallic symbols (nards) :? What was also disappointing was seeing that all of the cute shirts in the gift shop were too big :<} OK

Beautiful building and great art collection, though the organization is a bit odd. I understand why they do it by artist, but there's no cohesion room to room so no fluid way to go about the space

The wait was quite long. The special events are very hard to get tickets for Nd besides a few pieces most if the artwork was more figuring out why it was there then trying to see what it was. For people who really appreciate art.

Definitely, get your tickets ahead of time. IF you drive, there is nearby parking about a block down the hill from the museum for $12 bucks (no limit). Although, if you get a ride -have them drop you off at the museum's corner (so as to avoid the steep climb, up a short hill!). Absolutely, fantastic treats for the eyes!

Wonderful infinity room by kusama and lots of modern art! Better to go early or you will line up and it's very long. Or make a reservation ahead! It is recommended to go early. Otherwise you have to keep the line long. Or it might be a good idea to make reservations online.

It would be nice if they made it clear on the website that you have to make an appointment ahead of time to see the light room and how popular it is to the locals and its impossible to see if if you dont make an appointment. When we got there for our scheduled time to enter the Broad, and there was already a long line for the rest of the night and the sing up was closed to get in. One of our main reasons for going to the Broad was that light room and since we are from Seattle it was a huge disappointment.

The Broad is a couple's serious love affair with art, manifested in a free museum hosting some of the world's most notable contemporary artists. Whether it's the architecture, special exhibits, or famous pieces from Warhol, Koons, or Kelly, this museum is sure to please. Parking can be found in multiple lots in the area, and a stop by Grand Central Market and the Walt Disney Concert Hall are a must (only a few minutes away walking).

Very cool museum. Get your tickets way in advance. Electronically reserve your place in line for the infinity mirror exhibit first thing as you walk in. Know that whatever wait time they give you for the infinity mirror will likely be way shorter. I was told 5 hours and it ended up being about a 3 hour wait. I guess a lot of the people who don't have time to spend all day there get inpatient and drop out. . Even when I added 45 minutes to my wait time, I ended up back at the front t in about 15 minutes.

Beautiful the building and the art pieces inside. And it is free entrance! The only problem is that it is super crowded and you need to book your visit in advance. To see one art installation in the ground floor next to the entrance (I forgot the name of it) you have to do the line just to be in the waiting list, and then enter at the time assigned. Eventually I gave up and I couldn't enter. They should find a way to avoid such a situation.

I give it two stars because the building seemed more artistic than the art inside. It's probably not my taste, but I found most things not artistic. Paints of doodles and pieces of wood. I also dont think it is worth the wait to see the mirror room.

The Broad Museum is the newest contemporary art museum in downtown LA and houses the philanthropist Eli Broads art collection. It has a honeycomb-like exteriorand houses 2,000 works of art in the Broad collection, among the most prominent holdings of postwar and contemporary art. According to a recent report, millennials are flocking to the Broad Museum. The average visitor age is fourteen years younger than the national average for art museum attendance in the U.S. The appeal starts with colorful edgy art, such as Jeff Koons' glaring, gold-hued sculpture of Michael Jackson and his chimp, Bubbles, and Takashi Murakami's psychedelic-looking, dancing mushrooms. The museum is also located downtown, increasingly an entertainment and nightlife hub. And, to top it all, the admission free.

Super varied exhibits and free entry (make a reservation online or be doomed to wait in line) make this museum a must visit. I got to see art from Murakami, Lichtenstein, Kruger, Kusama, and so many more!

If you head west of Grand Central Market, you ll hit The Broad, a free museum to all, as long as you reserve tickets ahead of time online. I wanted to come here mostly for the coveted infinity mirror room, made famous on Instagram. Once More
