I took my Mom here while she was visiting. Totally worth it! Sign up for the earlier times if you can, so that you can get into the infinity room. It fills up quickly. The collection is great and it is nice to see artist that are still painting and that go beyond the mid century. Although the mid century is well represented.

We visited The Broad to see the Yayoi Kasuma exhibitions. The exterior and interior are beautifully done. The interior is spacious and the various lines create for great entrances to the next connecting area. Good use of concrete work inside as well. Too bad we missed the rain room. We'll be back for other exhibitions!

Great place to spend time looking at arts. Parking is located under the building and the cost of parking is $15 for 3 hour with valadation. It is advice to preorder the tickets to get in. Since preordering the tickets dont cost you any money and would save you from the lines that could be sometimes as long as lines you see on black Friday check out lines. By preordering the ticket you pretty much walking straight away compare to people in line which could be an hr wait or more. The famous attraction the infinity room is also something that requires planning as space to go see this attraction fills up very fast. You will have to pretty much get in and reserve your spot within an hr or two after opening opens. When it fills up there is a stand by line which also would take hours and might not even get to see the famous infinity room.

Don't be intimidated by the line - the staff here are quick which keeps the line moving and minimum wait times. Be warned that they limit the time at the Infinity Room to 45 seconds, which is way too quick after a usual wait period of 3 hours but it is what it is.

Fantastic museum. Went here around 10am, one hour before it opened, on a Wednesday morning and got on the standby line. We got in right away when it opened and were able to sign up for the infinity room which was about a fourty minute wait. Then we went up to the other infinity mirror piece which had no line at the time. Spent about an hour and a half browsing the works, and then spent the next hour at the Icelandic music piece which was incredible. Highly recommended.

It's a Saturday and I waited less than hour for my turn. It's a worthwhile wait, admission is free and it houses an amazing collection of contemporary art. Enter the magical room of Yayoi Kusama.

One of the best place to explore art. It has the finest collections of art. I haven t been to any art museum so I couldn t compare it with other. But despite of that even if you are a person who admires art or just want to have good time. It can be a good choice. I would highly recommend you if you are passionate art enthusiast or have some passion for photography. Would recommend it.

The broad... Very interesting art, paint, but the best of all was real life= Many people, different cultures from everywhere.

Great little art museum with free admission! The architecture is beautiful, and the art inside is very interesting. This museum keeps the commentary to a minimum, letting the contemporary art pieces in its collection speak for themselves.

A FREE museum, that offers me a chance to teach my children about art & let them wonder through the rooms.... It was wonderful to watch my kids start to express their takes on what they see in the works of art, was a great time! Perfect More

So,I give two stars. 1- the architecture is great! The building it self is beautiful and the skylights on the 3rd floor is almost majestic. 2- there are some "pop culture" pieces in there that are fun to see and interact with in real life. But, in my opinion modern art is pretentious. 96% of the "art" was done by talentless hacks with low self-esteem who need pretentious, sycophantic sheep to blow hot air at them so the people who stair at their canvas of multicolor scribbles can continue their circle of feel gooddery. But, still a fun day trip!

Too much waiting to see the infinity room. The online booking of access to the museum does not give any right of way to see the infinite room. 2 hours of waiting is too much for visitors who have 1 day to visit all of Los Angeles. Either make a reservation dedicated only to the room, or charge something negligible to let in the truly interested customers.

Fantastic museum of contemporary art, feat. all the greatest hits: Warhol, Koons, Jasper Johns, Murakami, Basquiat, Lichtenstein. Advance tickets available about two weeks out (used to be a month), but the Infinity Mirrors installation requires a separate registration once you're at the museum; when we arrived for our 2 pm slot, all the places had been taken up. Honestly, we didn't particularly miss it; we didn't even manage to complete the main collection before closing time hit at 5 pm. There's SO MUCH to see. And there are tonnes of photo ops. Also, the resource persons in the galleries truly know their stuff and are happy and willing to answer any queries, and even suggest great angles to take snazzy photographs! Parking is a problem, but it is close to the Metro. You can get the entire audio guide on an app called "The Broad," but the pieces covered are few, and the audio descriptions themselves are... Ordinary. I expect this to get better as the museum grows older. Instead, they have detailed descriptions, which are somehow not as satisfying. The installations are awesome, and they know how to do multimedia; The Visitors featured nine screens for nine musicians in nine rooms in a mansion, each with its dedicated speaker targeted to the person standing before it, so you can tune in and out of the sound from a particular room while still listening to the whole chorus. Magical stuff. Do drop by if you're in town!

Insider tip- get there around 6pm, no lines to get in and enough time to see the permanent exhibition plus they usually open tickets to enter the infinity room before the museum closes from all the people who didn't show up.

Likes : 1. Free access to most of the exhibitions 2. Modern, spacious and organized, the staff are well trained and polite. I like that early reservation online is possible. 3. You get to put your bags with the concierge and enjoy the art exhibition at ease and relaxing environment. Dislikes :1. The website didn't share that separate booking is required for the infinite mirror room exhibition. We got to only when we finished the visit and the wait is 2 hours. 2. The online reservation system should make available the reservation for mirror room exhibition. 3. The reservation system for the mirror room only allows local mobile number

Must. Do. I set an alarm to remind me to book a month in advance exactly when the tickets were released so as not to miss out. You can walk up and wait in line, but its much nicer to be prepared with reserved (free) tickets so you don't have to wait. You will have to wait for the infinity room once inside the museum, but they put you on a waiting list and text you when its your turn.

An absolute must when in LA. A newer museum in LA so it may interest some of the younger generations. Every nook and cranny of the The Broad is a work of art. Everything from the outside of the building, to the escalator, down to observing the storage facility. You do have to make reservations to enter so make sure you check out their website before heading over. Parking is a bit tough and expensive but that's anywhere in DTLA. The top of the museum consists of the museum private collection and the bottom consist of different temporary exhibits. Soul of A Nation was there when I went and was AMAZING & MOVING!

The museum is an amazing location some of the pieces was a little questionable to me a little racially-charged but maybe I needed more time to kind of observe and really pay attention to it but overall amazing place

Not my favorite collection but still worth a visit. Reserve your free ticket in advance to avoid waiting to get in. My favorite exhibit was the room filled with projectors playing a continuous song for nearly an hour throughout different rooms in an eclectic house. For a minute there, I lost myself...

This museum is so interesting and easy to navigate. Impressive Modern Collection and the staff was super friendly. Lots of gigantic pieces! Be sure and take the steps because between levels you can look through window at the storage unit. I spotted some Gauguins! We went by way of special Jasper Johns exhibit and on into the rest of the museum and felt like $25 to do all that was well worth it. However you can stand in line and get free admission for the regular collection.

Stunning architecture and amazing contemporary art collection! One of the best free musuems I've visited. Highly recommend booking advanced tickets online to skip the queue. Yayoi Kusama's infinity mirrored room is a must visit! However, time given inside is only a mere 45 seconds! There is a separate line to queue for this infinity room - would suggest to queue for this first and then only look around at the other exhibits. The special exhibit 'soul of a nation' is free for walk ups on Thursdays and Fridays.

Life-changing place - interesting, fun, evocative, and absolutely spectacular! Now on my list of best way to spend time in LA! Just be aware that if you park in the Broad's parking structure beyond three hours, the validation from the museum is worthless and you will have to pay the full $25!

"Soul of a Nation" is an important exhibition. I'm glad that the invisible is becoming visible, but sometimes I wonder if discursive misrepresentation and misappropriation are worse than invisibility...

Free museum (if you are willing to wait)! Fortunately, it's worth the wait. The architecture combined with an impressive collection of art makes this place a must see if you are in the area. You can easily make this part of a day in downtown LA.

Before you go, it is best to make an appointment. You don't have to queue a long queue. Before you leave, remember to ask the staff to ask for a card. The parking fee will be 15, or you will have to pay 25.

The architecture of the museum is very nice, reservation online, there are always interesting expositions, and there are parking lots a few blocks away. The trouble is that it is always crowded.
