good museum, there is free admission, good to know is that you should sign up to visit 'The infinity mirrored room' when you get there, (it is oxp free, but you need to report that you want to see it) otherwise get you wait a long time before you enter, however, you need a US phone number. you will receive an sms when you go and stand in line.

Strolling through the Broad viewing the Jasper Johns exhibition we were well received. The exhibition was impeccably curated. My friend and I went on one of their free Thursdays around 4 and waited for a short time in the standby line. All of the representatives from the Broad were extremely kind and respectful to everyone that waited. The Broad was careful not to fill the museum too full. It was a nice afternoon.

Beautiful and accessible museum that has a fun vibe. Probably the best musuem to introduce a person to art. Incredibly Instagram-able. Park in their underground garage and use it to tour DTLA. Also pro tip- download their excellent app.

Excellent museum, although it seems that it is small and does not have many exhibits if it has some very impressive and inspiring. The most striking is that of Yayoi Kusama or what is left of this exhibition, you just have to book the general admission in advance or arrive very early to wait in line sometimes 2 hours. It's very clean. Friendly service Moderate parking. Free entrance.

For all art fans out there, this one is for you. An interesting collection of paintings and artworks. Although drinks and food are not allowed, the front desk service offers a storage for your items.

The Broad was a great experience. It was my first time there. The Aesthetics are incredible. The building design, the courtyard with restaurant. All nice. The art collection was amazing and i really enjoyed the exhibit Black Power art 1963-83. Great collection and very informative and powerful visuals. I only briefly was able to see the artwork on the 3rd floor but i will definitely return soon to view. I hear Jazz nights are great so that will be my next visit.

LA's most anticipated new museum -- reservations are strongly recommended here. Contemporary art museum located next to the Disney Concert Hall downtown. Rotating exhibits on the ground floor, with permanent collection upstairs. Vault is visible through windows in the center of the building. Unique architecture is highly photogenic, inside and out.

One of the most beautiful contemporary art museums of all, well worth seeing, also free entry, only you have to reserve or buy tickets well in advance or get there early that morning to get in over time. The "Infinity Room" by Yayoi Kusama was the most beautiful room I have ever seen, I would want to go there again anytime if LA wasn't that far away! The building itself is also fantastic, just magical :)

Large art needs space for viewing, and this museum allows room to stand back to view and well as get up close. The building itself is visually interesting, and the windows into the storage rooms over a glimpse into a museum one rarely gets. Call ahead to reserve tickets for time of entry, to avoid standing in long lines.

Excellent modern art museum. General admission is free but ticketed via their website (you need to book a specific entry time). There is a charge for special exhibitions (and those tickets also include general admission). We came to see the Jasper Johns exhibition, which was brilliantly put together. The architecture of the building itself is nice, and the museum has a good store. Convenient (paid) underground parking.

We're not big art fans and still really enjoyed this museum for it's modern works and the cool architecture of the building. General Admin tickets are free but you have to reserve them online, usually over a month in advance for a good time slot (this doesn't get you into whatever special exhibit is currently displayed- you have to buy a separate ticket for that which we didn't do). You can also see the infinity mirror room for free, but you have to sign up via an iPad on the first floor towards the gift shop. Make sure you do it when you first arrive so you can check out the museum while you wait in the queue and they'll text you when it's your turn. We didn't realize we had to sign up and it ended up being sold out for the day by the time we realized it (around 3pm).

Great museum with the works of Jeff Koons, Barbara Kruger, Takashi Murakami, Jean Michel Basquiat and many more! Entrance is free but ordering your entry tickets online before coming in makes the check in process easier. There is valet parking or you can park near the side of the building with the timed slots. It's also right next to the Walt Disney concert hall and many restaurant options around like the Otium.

I loved! It is a new and small museum, but with many interesting works, it specializes in pop art and contemporary art. The building is also very beautiful. If you want to enter for free, you need to reserve admission tickets at least one month in advance (online) so you don't have to make long lines.

Great experience but not much to see. The wait for the infinity room did take a bit of time and the 30-seconds couldn't have gone by quicker. Would definitely recommend if it's your first time.

An activity to do during a stay in Los Angeles. It only takes one click to book the tickets. The museum is free and offers remarkable works. You just have to pay if you want to take the audioguides. Great favorite for the work of Yayoi Kusama.

My first visit to The Broad assured that I will be returning. I went for the The SOUL of a NATION presentation that was excellent. But I got so much more The light room display made me feel like I had already become a eternal star in a galaxy of stars. The people who are drawn to the BROAD are as artistic in their expressions as the art. The docents at the Broad are so cutting edge trendy that they become live works of art worth viewing. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Broad. The parking at the Broad ended up costing $25

I drove up to LA to visit my friend and had a blast going to the broad. It's really nice that the museum is free. The line to get in was pretty long, but it moved pretty quickly and once we got in I felt it was worth the wait. I think nearly anyone would enjoy the art that was on exhibit and to the best of my knowledge it changes from time to time. If you are in town and looking for something fun and free to do, this is definitely a good option.

I love the new addition to the downtown cultural/arts hub that is just growing and growing. It really gives a presence from the outside and that's hard to do with the Disney Concert Hall next to you. Great contemporary collection and it's free. Make sure to get your tickets online!

The infinity room was really cool. I like that this museum is free. Good places to chill close by too while you wait. Did not like that the only Male bathroom was a single stall for unisex. I don't care if you make the Male bathroom unisex, but why only one stall? The line was long and a man's gotta go!
