Big museum of contemporary art, it houes a really well curated collection (well it could add more Andy Warhol pieces ). Spacious and with a great architecture, it is crowded all day so you better make your reservation online (even with that reservation we had to wait like 20 minutes to be able to enter). The entrance is free and you can visit both of Yayoi Kusama's "infinity mirror rooms" (one is located in the first floor and the other in the third floor), but you need to register for your turn in the kiosk near the entrance, they will ask for your name and a mobile phone number so they can send you a message when it's your turn to visit the room, they are pretty cool, especially the "infinity mirrored room: the souls of millions of Years Away", located in the first floor. In all the galleries are many "museum associates" and you can ask them about the pieces to learn more, they seemed friendly and with a great knowledge about them. Lastly the parking is a bit expensive $15 dollars for 3 hours with museum validation or $25 all day, the people working there is very nice.

If you haven't made reservations prior to your visit, expect to wait an hour or so in the stand-by line. But after the wait, it's worth it. Really good art pieces. Just don't touch the art Also, there are restaurants and cafes near the museum.

One of the most important modern art museums in the world! I liked his permanent exhibition. It is important to make reservations online so that when you arrive at the place, you do not have to wait. Recommended for lovers of modern art.

Such a cool place. Make sure you get reservations. They are usually booked 1.5 months in advance. You can risk standby, but you might not get in even after waiting hours. Also, get in the queue for the Infinity Room ADAP. Don't be discouraged by the long wait time given, it is based on one person at a time entering. We were told 5 1/2 hours, but were there in less than 3 hours.

1. There is no sign saying about that the standby line is closed, however, we are told the standby line is closed when arriving the entrance. We have to pay parking fee for nothing. 2. It says $5 per 15mins, but we are charged $15 for 10mins parking. Very bad experience for me.

Yay for free! Boo for having to paying for parking. You can get around the $12 three hour parking by either: Park across from the Concert Hall Lot (It was $9) when we parked for the whole day or come on Sundays and find street parking. There are some on 1st street. Yay for museums and nice to have it for free within the heart of DTLA. However, I wasn't able to get a reservation to the coveted infinity room. The guide had told us that the exhibit goes through October and if you come without a reservation at 10:30am, you would be able to get a reservation to the infinity room. Darn it, next time! I came at 12pm and it was already too late! The exhibits are fewer than I expected but just enough to peak interest. It was super roomy and I'm glad they staggered the time for entrance. What I didn't like was that if you were wearing a backpack, they have you wear it in the front and if you come close to touching, the people working the exhibits will yell at you. (Some more than others). Otium next door is busy but there are plenty of eats nearby including Grand Central Market. Nice way to spend a day. Make sure you reserve early!

Amazing Museum of Art !!! Excellent architectural design and art samples are the best !!! You can see works of art by artists representing modern and contemporary world art. As well as temporary exhibitions of current art. It is one of the most beautiful art museums in Los Angeles, located in Downtown, and admission is always free.

I never understood modern art until I went to this museum. It was quite a site. I really think that everyone in the area should come spend some time here. It was a great date night for me and the wife.

Such a really fun experience going through the museum. We came on a rainy day and beware, lines are long so try getting tickets ahead of time. Try to reserve for the mirror room as early as possible. Staff didn't notify us but spaces fill up super quickly so as we were in line it closed and we were unable to do it.

I loved it! This is highly recommended even for someone who jst wants to look around and stroll. So plenty of little things to be appreciated and to Love about this museum. What's awesome about it is . .. it's Free to the Public. Parking in the structure is $12. A good 2hours for the entire experience. Do not forget to reserve your spot in advance for the Mirrored wall...

A wonderful collection of contemporary art, with sculptures and paintings from a wide range of popular artists. The audio guide was very insightful, the space itself was enjoyable to walk around (particularly as we were able to store our backpacks at the front desk!) I would definitely recommend a visit, especially as it's free (in comparison to other popular galleries in the city).

This place was awesome! Suggest everyone to go but go early, like right when they open! Get free tickets online instead of going into standby line. There is a parking garage and free validation parking on weekdays and $15 on weekends. There in other places around that are walking distant. Museum of art, OEU and Disney concert hall.

Really liked this museum, well-curated and well-organised - we were worried that we wouldn't be able to get in given that tickets were booked up, but once in the drop-in line, things went inxrwdinlt smooth. Both getting in to the museum and viewing the Infinity Room went surprisingly smoothly, although we wish we'd gotten more than 45 sec in the latter...

It's free. During the weekend parking is $15 , during the week parking is validated for $15. You can easily see the galleries in an hours time. Recommend to get tickets online, standby waiting can be long.

I was expecting a bit more art work, but nonetheless a great place to view modern art. The only critique is the wait for the dark room, which was about seven hours on the Saturday I was there

Those who are interested in contemporary art must visit !!! Those who are not too interested in art or museums are also recommended to visit (no tickets required) In addition to graphic art, there are also many three-dimensional installation art in the museum. Yayoi Kusama's infinity mirrored room is also amazing! Small place with infinite space, unfortunately there is limited time to visit It is recommended that you go to the left to line up to register for the mirror room after entering the museum, you can leave your mobile phone number, and a short message notification will be sent when the express arrives (I came here at 10 in the morning, and received an SMS notification after about an hour stroll)

Nice and free but its better to register for admission online in order to avoid huge lines for admission. The reserved line and normal admission line are different. Also when you book tickets in advance they are free as well.

I was very disappointed in my time at the Broad Museum. My family wanted to go into the Infinity Light Room but were not allowed because we did not make a reservation at the kiosk. We went up to the kiosk to make a reservation but the screen stated that time in the room was booked for the day. We waited for the kiosk to open back up and were able to make a reservation but our wait was 4 AND A HALF HOURS! There was NO WAY that we were waiting that long to go into a room for 45 seconds. I proceeded to go up and ask if the wait was really going to be that long and the response I got was no but you will have to wait at least an hour. And let me point out that there was NO ONE in line at the time. If I am only going to be in the room for what, 45 freaking seconds, then why must I make a reservation when I am already there ready to go while the people who made a so called reservation decided to not show up. And don t even get me started on the parking garage setup. Free museum, $25 parking and my family was not even there for an hour.

I went for the first time during the Soul of a Nation exhibit last year. It was incredible! The artwork was beautiful and educational. There were live musical performances which I enjoyed. I loved Robert Therrin's Under the Table artwork. This a great museum!

This gorgeously built museum is an architect s wet dream. Some of the things you ll see here will take your breath away, including Yayoi Kusama s Infinity Mirrors exhibit. This particular piece embodies what I d imagine a soul experiences if it was traversing the cosmos. It s a permanent installment of theirs and it has been so popular for years that every tour it s been on in different cities has miles out the door every single day for literal hours. Get your tickets and get there early because the wait time increases exponentially if you decide to just pop in on a whim to experience this veritable eye candy orgasm

1. Parking is $15 2. The first thing you must do is stand in line for the Infinity Room, which everyone wants to do. Even when it s all booked up for the day, you can wait for space to come up. The last 2-3 hours of the day is the next best time to try your luck. 3. Be nice to the museum staff 4. The other Infinity Room on the third floor is hilariously sad. 5. It s pronounced the BROWDE not broad like your forehead.
