Brodava Salon Review

Absolutely love Brodava! The staff is so friendly and knowledgable & the owner has outstanding talent!!! I would definitely recommend this salon.

We kinda of got off to a rough start but my hair ended up looking amazing!!! The stylest suggested doing my hair in steps to get the look I wanted to prevent damage and to make it look the best in the long run. The first step didn't turn out how I had pictured and I really didn't like it at all! The manager and the owner both called me and the owner had me come in first thing in the morning before they even open and explained why the stylest did my hair the way she did it and she had her do the next step that day so my hair looked how I wanted it. Now I feel bad about misunderstanding and really, really appreciate how sweet and polite they were (even though I was upset and not being very pleasant at first!) The owner Crissy and the staff really went out of their way to make sure I was happy. I've had bad experiences with other salons and I feel bad assuming they were going to be the same way.

Brodava is definitely the greatest salon out there! Bre Yaney has been coloring and cutting my hair for almost a year now, and I couldn't be happier. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the environment is just stunning! In the past, I have always had to go home after a hair appointment and re-style my hair while pointing out everything I didn't like about it. However, after my first appointment at Brodava, I was so satisfied with my entire service, I was shocked that I not only loved my hair, but I didn't need to fix or change a thing! This place is amazing, and I would highly recommend checking it out!

Brodava Salon is oustanding!!!! It's not every day that you can walk into a salon and feel the genuine warmth from the staff!! They are welcoming, accommodating, and highly skilled professionals!! All of the girls are amazing, but Crissy George, the owner, is my absolute favorite. She is the most passionate, creative and humble owners I have ever met! The salon is gorgeous and very clean inside! I highly recommend it!!!

I ve had my hair done here several times now and I ve been absolutely in LOVE every time. The woman I see, Amanda, has such a unique and fun style. I decide to chop my hair short for the first time ever and Amanda couldn t have made it look any more perfect! I was so nervous but her confidence put me at ease. The other women that work there are also lovely and intelligent! And always offer me coffee when I come in the door :)

Very happy with my first experience at Brodava. I found this salon because I was looking for a salon that uses Bumble & Bumble products. My stylist Erica took the time to listen to me and consider what would be best for me. She created a BEAUTIFUL cut and color and I love it. Also must mention that I was treated like a queen.

Very upset with how my hair turned out. The girl seemed very unsure with what she was doing. I asked for a trim and walked out with very short uneven hair and not even close to what I asked for. My hair just kept getting shorter and shorter. I came very close to just asking her to stop before it got any shorter. I don't think I will be coming back to this salon.

Mary Mason at Brodava Salon is the best hair stylist I've ever had! I highly recommend her and the other stylists. Everyone I've seen has looked great after having their hair styled there.

Crissy George has cut and colored my hair for over 10 years. She takes the time to listen to me and to always do her best to meet my requests as well as offer her expertise. Helping a natural redhead continue to achieve a natural red while covering gray is not an easy task! Crissy is always up to the challenge. She is not only extremely talented in cut and color but it has also been a pleasure to watch her become a wonderful business woman. The salon environment is simply beautiful and the staff is welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend Brodava Salon! I followed Crissy from Sylvania to Perrysburg and it is worth the travel for each appointment.

I refuse to go anywhere else for my hair. Jesse always gets it right and knows exactly what I'm talking about. She has been handling my hair for many, many years and I always walk away looking fabulous!

I had a manicure and pedicure here almost three weeks ago, and both still look perfect! My nails are gel, and don't have a single chip or crack. I have gotten gel nails at a good number of salons and have never had them last quite this long. The salon was lovely, clean and accommodating and the woman who painted my nails (I wish I could remember her name!) was lovely.

I've been coming here for years now!!! The staff is amazing, always kind and respectful. Very clean relaxing environment , They are always willing to try new trends on my hair. Overall this a such a fun place to get pampered.

Very clean and well lit. I went in for a cut after not having one in close to 2 years. Amber was very polite and professional, and gave me a cut which highlights my curls and how healthy my hair really is. I will definitely be back in the future! If you plan on going here Amber is the person to see!!

very very disappointed. I got a hair cut from her in September. I am writing this review a month and a half latter as I am not someone who writes review but just feel so sad to this date looking at my hair in the mirror. I had pretty long hair and had asked for a trim but the girl ended up cutting my hair to above my shoulder. I was shocked. I don't think I am ever going back. Based on the past reviews I thought this place knew what they were doing but clearly not as the girl did not even show me how much she was chopping off before she began.

Jesse does an amazing job making me feel and look my best! She's great at listening to how I want my hair cut/colored and is even better when I don't give any direction. A cup of coffee or water upon your arrival is also a nice touch.

I've been here twice and each time has been lovely. I'm not one who loves getting my hair done, but the atmosphere is fun and the hairdressers are very talented!

Coloring wasn't the color I asked for (I wanted it bleached white so I could put in vegan hair dye colors and it would be very visible), it was a yellow gold. Not what I specified at all. Someone may say, well maybe your hair just couldn't go that light...but I've had it done before and had no problems. I didn't want to take more time to wait to have it redone right then. My daughter and I also got pedicures, and we were not pleased. The day after the pedis, we were in the pool for about 2 hours and every single speck of polish was gone. There are lots of nice places in town, try those.

Great talent works here under the direction of a remarkable master stylist, Chrissy. You honestly can't go wrong with anyone. They are all so amazing!

Just went for my first post-quarantine haircut. Crissy and her team were so careful with sanitizer, space separators, and controlling customer flow. I really hadn t been that concerned, but I felt safe. It was a relief to be so well cared for. And of course my hair looks much better again. Great service.

I've been seeing Crissy for over 12 years, and she continues to deliver not just a great color/cut, but a truly customer-focused experience at very reasonable prices. Her nail team delivers a great spa pedicure at a very reasonable price point. Salon also carries the must-have products, such as Bumble, Loreal, Brazilian, Mythic Oil, and Inoa. Crissy ensures her team is well trained and consistently getting continuing education by industry experts in NYC and Chicago, so they too provide great experiences. You can count on Brodava for fantastic hair and nails!

I took my 4 year old to lauren she did a great job and was very friendly. And the salon is amazing. Much cheaper and closer to home!

I've been going to Jesse Hurst at Brodava Salon for almost 6 years and she is nothing less than AMAZING. If you're looking for someone to cut, color, style, etc. your hair, you MUST go to her. Although we were childhood friends, I didn't go to her until I needed her help to fix a mess another stylist (different salon) had made of my hair. Jesse not only fixed the color and cut, but made my hair HEALTHIER and stronger. She continues to amaze me with her creative vision for what will look best on me and my hair. I have had blonde, purple, black, brown... every color under the sun, but Jesse has made each and every one look fabulous. Her talent is unmatched. Since I have been going to Jesse, I have gotten engaged and we now take my fiance's little boy to her for haircuts, too. She is WONDERFUL with little ones. I'd give her 10 stars if I could. If you're in the market to update your look - go to her! You will NOT be disappointed.

I've been making hair appointments with Ericka, at Brodava Salon, for several months now. Not only was Ericka able to tame all of my unruly hair points, she was able to provide a trendy style that I loved with her first attempt. My most recent appointment with Ericka was for a Brazilian Blowout. Now three weeks later, I still have the most manageable hair that I've ever had. The blowout saves me approximately 40 minutes every time that I wash and style my hair. I highly recommend Ericka and Brodava Salon!

I was looking for a new salon in Toledo following a move to the area and this was the first I tried. The salon is clean and pretty and everyone was very nice. However, my hair color did not turn out the way I wanted- in fact, 3 days after my appointment, my roots were already showing clearly through (I have blonde highlights). Further, despite my telling the stylist 3-4 times that my hair did not do well with large amounts of product, she used so much product on it while styling that my hair was clumped together in greasy strands. I drove home from the salon and immediately showered all the product out of my hair because it felt so disgusting. I wish I had taken a picture as proof but it was so disgusting and looked so horrible I just wanted it to go away. The most frustrating part of the experience was the salesmanship. My stylist spend 99% of the appointment trying to get me to buy their products. I told her several times that I was happy with my current hair products but it just kept coming. Needless to say, I will not be returning. My hair color has not lasted, I left the salon with the most disgusting feeling hair of my life and I do not enjoy getting products I do not want to buy shoved down my throat for 3 hours.

Elegant, yet humble environment. The stylist s/team are very professional and are great at making you feel welcome. Will continue to come again!

Every time I get my hair cut its a wonderful experience. Nicole has been cutting my hair for years now, and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

Brodava Salon is full of talented hairstylists. My daughter and I have been going to Brodava now for 2 years and have never left unsatisfied. Nicole is a gem and does amazing short hair as well as fun kids colors. If you're looking for a new place to get your hair done you should come here. Highly recommended.

I m relatively new to perrysburg and decided to try this salon for the first time. All the girls were very welcoming and the salon was very clean. My appointment was scheduled with Erica and I loved her! She really listened to what I wanted out of the visit and I left head over heals in love with my hair! Will definitely be coming back.

I recently had my hair dyed bubble gum pink and I love it!! So, not only did Amanda lift my hair from a box-dyed dark blue to nearly white in one session, but she also managed to achieve the shade of pink I ve been after for years. She knew exactly what she was doing and knew how aggressive and be with the bleach. I have slight damage, but that s to be expected with extreme color shift. It s in a much healthier place than any other stylist has left it! She made sure to go over instructions for care and suggested a once a week conditioned to help strengthen my hair. I can t stress how much I love the style and color I left the salon with!! I never understood how women could feel beautiful just from a haircut, but now I know. I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for something fun!

I am so happy with my whole experience here. I was fortunate that I was able to get a haircut with only a half hour notice and only 1 hour before they closed. My hair was a wreck and Bree made it look great. I didn't know what to do with my hair anymore and needed some guidance. She worked with me for almost an hour and a half. She would ask what did I think and then once I told her what I thought she would switch scissors and create some more. Each time my hair kept get better and better. In the end I love it. The best part is that my hair is easy to take care of too! The staff works well together too and are sooooo friendly.

My first time at Brodava was wonderful! Very friendly staff and Nicole did an awesome job on my hair. She offered to do some extras while I was there and was very upfront about the cost, so no surprises when I went to pay. I would definitely recommend Brodava and I will certainly be returning!
