I would not recommend working at Brockton VNA and Hospice. You won't be treated like a member of the team. You will be overworked and unsupported. They are unable to retain staff for a reason. Management and office staff show a blatant disrespect and lack of understanding to the field staff. Would not recommend to anyone.

They are the very best. Had Phys.Ther. & Occup. Ther. Had special protocol due to having Parkinson's. Was house bound. The Specialist on Parkinson's worked with me, and I was able to get out of the house, down the deck stairs, into the driveway, and in my son's vehicle. Previously I had to go to dr. appts. by ambulance. In Oct., the Mammogram and Ultrasound detectedBreast Cancer. Had Mastectomy. R.N. came to show how to empty drains and apply new bandages. Now undergoing Chemotherapy at Greene Cancer Center which is part of Signature Healthcare/Brockton Hospital, and doing very well. The VNA came for my severely disabled husband before he entered Critical Care Unit at Brockton Hospital. He passed away on August 3 , 2018 at 87 years of age. I believe the
wonderful care he received from the VNA medical professionals enriched and prolonged his life, and for that my son and I are thankful.
I would not trust bvna after what thay did to me i went into the hospital the beginning of oct. With fluid around my heart when it was time to leave the hospital i was told that bvna would not take me back i asked why and the dr. Told me he did not know that bvna did not tell him i had an ot come in to my house to show me how to get in and out of the shower i amost fell and she just stood there and said not a good idea to grab the shower curtin rod also i almost fell again when ot was working with me if the bathroom door hadn't been there i would have hit the floor face first she also lied about watching me with laundry said i could wash dry fold and carry she showed me how to drag the laundry down the stairs she put the laundry on a table so i could put it in the machine she was never there to see me struggle to put the laundry in the dryer or to see me try to bring it back upstair she left said she couldn't stay i could say more but i will leave it at that
Very disgusted with brockton vna. My husband was in the hospital for 3 months with a bone infection. Sent home with dr orders for a nurse to come out 2 times a day for bandage changes. I was told 2 times a day wasnt going to happen out right by the first nurse that came. We are now 3 days discharge and the nurse is a no show, excuse is short staffed. If this is just the beginning of my fight they better be prepared because i ready to raise hell. This will not happen again and if for some reason things get bad with him again they will be hearing from me and more people about this. I work in animal medicine and we treat animals better then this vna greate humans.
They were supposed to see me Thursday, then they said Friday, Friday came and went no nurse, they said first thing Saturday morning, they never showed up. Now they're saying sunday morning. Enough is enough!!! Get your acts together!
