A huge store with a bunch of different local vendors - I would say about sixty or so. I could spend all day in here. I picked up a cool t-shirt from the back and a really nice smelling candle from the booth in the front window. I will definately be coming back to do some Christmas shopping!

I just left this establishment 10 minutes ago and I am very disappointed. I was actually very excited to browse this store. However, an aggressive young man at the door needs to learn customer service. My friend was recording myself and taking pictures and it is understood that he was asked to stop. The issue is that I m not sure if he was asked to stop properly and if we were being targeted. This young mans tone, posture, and facial expression was very out of line. I have never been spoken to in such a manner at any store. AFTER, this encounter I decided to stay positive and look at candles which another older gentleman who worked their came over, moved things around, and walked away. I was never asked if I was finding things ok or even a hello. Perhaps if I had been the two white young ladies who came shortly after me who were greeted, asked if everything was ok, and seemed to enjoy their experience I would have been treated better! Very disappointed!

(For Original Work, a clothing company in the market)Look, my family paid 200 dollars for four pairs of slippers, so you ripped us off. We asked for them to be shipped to Denver last summer, not only were they not shipped to Denver, after talking with Raymond Ramirez on various occasions of him saying sorry and we ll get them shipped right away they still haven t been shipped to our home, and instead my concerns have been looked past: I was blocked by the Instagram, Raymond has declined my calls and not responded to my texts. I mean, come on! This is how you treat your customers, we could totally report you to the FBB. Get a grip. This is RIDICULOUS!

I went shopping in Broadway Market Co last month. There is a shop selling necklaces near the entrance, I was really excited to shop around as my friend bought me this brand (the photo below) before. While I was looking at the necklaces, my friend started speaking Cantonese to me. The shopkeeper who was standing next to me , trying to move towards me. It made me feel very uncomfortable. So I moved to the other side of the corner, and after a while, he suddenly walked in between me and my friend. My friend and I were shocked and he started arguing with my friend. He said to my friend that I was messing with his necklaces. When I looked at his eyes, all I could see was hatred and anger. The shopkeeper ,Carlton , even asked us to leave his store.

I did not want my friend to get into trouble, so we walked away and he started following us. When we left the market, he followed us and yelled at us, trying to pick a fight with my friend . It was unbelievable. He even called us names.

I have been traveling to 50 countries and had never experienced this racist behaviour. It was done with hate in mind because of a colour of another race. It s raw emotion and I could ever imagine that type of hates exist in New York.

After I read the other reviews of this market , my experience was similar to Austin Bush(one of the reviewers). Beware of this guy, he is very aggressive. You can easily find his photos from ig (Broadwaymarketco).

I am so shocked at my experience in this market. I was showing my friend around the city and brought them into this market. We were looking at the necklaces and accessories. It is the first store on the left once you enter the store. This African American guy called Carlton threatened me and my friend and followed us around the store then wanted to fight us. We did not even do anything except look at the jewelry. I believe he was already been mentioned in the reviews before me. I cannot believe a marketplace would hire a crazy THUG to work there. Please be safe people and avoid this place. Beware of this guy!!!!!!!!!

Went inside for the first time today to check out a Supreme reseller in the corner of the store. Not only is the dude overpriced, he is selling some items that are fake. Some of his merchandise is real Supreme, but there was a decent amount of items that were fake. One of the box logo hoodies in the glass case was fake, and a bunch of Louis Vuitton x Supreme pillows were not legitimately created by Louis Vuitton or Supreme, and the Everlast mat in the window was bedazzled, like c'mon. If you don't know how to tell real Supreme from fake Supreme, DO NOT step this dude's booth.

Interesting hodge podge of small vendors. Mostly jewelry, ceramics and crafty items. Market space is cramped and not well lit. Hidden dumpling cafe in the back of store. Great place to sit, order dumplings and drinks to take a break from shopping. You may catch the live mannequin in the front window of the market.

I had some time to kill while i was in soho. This place is so unique. They have everything! I bought my dog his winter coat there from a place in the back selling pet clothes. Theres even a food court in the back. Its not like a normal store. Its a bunch of different little stores all together. Go check it out!

It's like a fancy flea market. They have all kinds of neat stuff and you buy it right from the people who make and design it. Cool t-shirts, soap, jewelry, clothes and decor. It's really kind of neat. I wish there were more stores likee this jn the city. I would definitely recommend going to check it out. They are right across from Top Shop on Broadway in SoHo.

Racist store clerk yelled at my Latina mother to leave "his store" and "ADIOS" at her because he thought she was taking a picture inside. My mother is visiting me, a permanent resident of this country, and took a picture of broadway st SoHo because she loved the area. She walked inside with her phone in hand but wasn't taking pictures at all (we even showed them the phone and pictures, though I shouldn't have). The store clerk that has been mentioned in other reviews was racist and rude since we walked in speaking in Spanish. The manager Carlton John came over and did absolutely nothing when we told him how racist his employee was being. I emailed the boutique and received no reply. Racist and awful experience. I have never been treated like this anywhere in New York. Avoid if you are different.

VENDOR REVIEW:

VENDOR REVIEW:

This market is not a good place to sell. The booth prices are arbitrarily set by the MGMT. If there's a high demand, the prices are higher. Some vendors do not require to give a deposit, this all depends in how desperate the MGMT may be. Deposits are never given back. You will have to notify the MGMT that you're leaving 30 days prior to the exit day. Otherwise, you will lose your deposit. This means you will have to commit to this market for at least 60 days. Many vendors choose to forfeit the deposit to cut down on losses. Their contracts don't specify this, protect yourself legally.

There are no rules set in this market. The lease says that no dogs are allowed but the owner brings his dog often. When setting up you will have to deal with a handy man. He is very rude and has a huge power trip. They don't tell you in advance what lights you can use, so you end up spending extra money to comply with the handy man rules (that change daily). Everything is very disorganized.

There's not a LOAD-IN/LOAD-OUT day, nor hours. When starting the market they will let you move in as you please. Hit other peoples display during selling hours, you name it. After you tell them you're leaving they change their way of treating you. You're no longer giving them money so their unprofessional side comes to light. In our experience they wouldn't let us remove our furniture the day of the LOAD OUT. Two out of three partners confirmed the move out, but the other partner didn't agree on the move out day. They gave us such a hard time, and we were eventually evicted from the location. Our last three days were double booked, so they profited from two vendors paying for the same space/date.

You are better off selling in the street fairs. These people are the worst. Ask around and you'll hear multiple similar stories.

DO NOT TRY THE BASEMENT! It's a scam because it has 0 foot traffic.

At Broadway Market you will find vintage objects (from televisions to radios, from old cameras to clothes), natural products for the body, clothing and jewelry and some food products. If you are passing through, you can lose half an hour but no more. You will find that you have arrived here because you will notice the living mannequin dancing in the shop window!

Probably my favorite new store! Tons of little shops all in one. Everything is made locally. They also have some snazzy vintage items. I brought my sister to check it out when she was in town and she loves it too.

I had a horrible experience at this place. Most of the vendors are absolutely wonderful except for the racist store when you first walk in. They were so aggressive with me and my family (we are Bengali) but was extremely nice to the two white girls behind us. I asked him if he made the jewelry, he responded in a very hostile way and then ended up kicking us out of his store for asking a question. It was so bizarre we were all so confused. It would be an amazing place to go shop but the broadway market doesn t care about the fact that there are racist vendors working in their space.
