VENDOR REVIEW:

This market is not a good place to sell. The booth prices are arbitrarily set by the MGMT. If there's a high demand, the prices are higher. Some vendors do not require to give a deposit, this all depends in how desperate the MGMT may be. Deposits are never given back. You will have to notify the MGMT that you're leaving 30 days prior to the exit day. Otherwise, you will lose your deposit. This means you will have to commit to this market for at least 60 days. Many vendors choose to forfeit the deposit to cut down on losses. Their contracts don't specify this, protect yourself legally.

There are no rules set in this market. The lease says that no dogs are allowed but the owner brings his dog often. When setting up you will have to deal with a handy man. He is very rude and has a huge power trip. They don't tell you in advance what lights you can use, so you end up spending extra money to comply with the handy man rules (that change daily). Everything is very disorganized.

There's not a LOAD-IN/LOAD-OUT day, nor hours. When starting the market they will let you move in as you please. Hit other peoples display during selling hours, you name it. After you tell them you're leaving they change their way of treating you. You're no longer giving them money so their unprofessional side comes to light. In our experience they wouldn't let us remove our furniture the day of the LOAD OUT. Two out of three partners confirmed the move out, but the other partner didn't agree on the move out day. They gave us such a hard time, and we were eventually evicted from the location. Our last three days were double booked, so they profited from two vendors paying for the same space/date.

You are better off selling in the street fairs. These people are the worst. Ask around and you'll hear multiple similar stories.

DO NOT TRY THE BASEMENT! It's a scam because it has 0 foot traffic.
