Pagoda high tea was so great! Scone was so soft , falling apart itself, so tasty. My favorite dessert was the one with watermelon and rose water. So refreshing. Staffs were very friendly, chef Jason who cook , came out to check on us. it was nice touch great to enjoy high tea with friends . Definitely recommend this place
Stayed before and after daughter's wedding reception there. Room was a bit small for 3 of us to get ready in. Decor was nice and room clean. Shower is in spa bath so difficult to get in and out of if you are elderly or disabled. Had to ask for extra towels etc as only 2 of everything instead of 3.
Booked for the long weekend but ended up only staying for a night due to the lock down. we booked on a non-refundable rate through booking.com, it was impossible for us to get through to see if we can cancel the rest of the stay for a refund. The lady at the reception was most helpful, offered us a credit for a return stay the next time. We managed to get some dinner at the restaurant that evening, food was really nice and a few cocktails to down our disappointment for having to cut shirt our plans.
Only option for breakfast the next morning was room service only, the restaurant was closed due to the lock down. Pretty decent room service breakfast. Everything about the place is nice, room beautiful, people lovely and we can't wait to go back soon.
Our wedding was at the resort, a special thank you to our wedding coordinator Alice who did a brilliant professional job, she
incorporated plan B, C when things didn't go well, she also made her personal touches which were absolutely amazing and helped me with a tiny project as a surprise for my "husband", a special thank you to Sandy behind the bar when our hired DJ was sacked as his computer didn't work and didn't have any backups, Sandy wired our phones to their speakers, a big thank you to every staff in Pagoda, we couldn't fault them, they made our special day really special, I highly recommend them.
Not sure how this hotel retains 4 star?
Room wasn t particularly clean, decor and bedding tattered and overdue for replacement.
Broken chair, cupboards don t close properly and drawer handle comes off.
So much built up lint in the filter and dust in the corners signal no deep cleaning for a while. Smudged windows also indicating the same.
Housekeeping took away dirty towels but forgot to leave any more.
Bed is actually 2 singles stuck together, there is actually a gap in the top to sink into, never had a more uncomfortable sleep.
Super fast is extremely slow, cannot stream YouTube without buffering
Free daily minibar consists of 2 50c bottles of water and some days a fun size Kit Kat.
Reception didn t answer 3 out of 4 times called for room service or other reason.
In house food (restaurant and room service) is very expensive small portions and extremely slow - especially for breakfast taking over half an hour for an egg on toast.. dinners easy to spend $60 and still be hungry.
Good thing corporate paid for this visit because I d feel very ripped off, will be requesting a different hotel next trip
Hotel is very well maintained and the rooms a clean and comfortable.
The King Beds are genuinely King Beds, plenty of room.
While the bathrooms are a little bit dated, again they are very well maintained and meets our needs.

Wonderful 2 days. To get full room service ...amazing. complete linen & towel change after first day. Restaurant was brilliant. Covered car ports would justify $15 a day cost as car was red hot. Will come again
We had a great time at the New Year 2021 party. Really good service, plenty of wine beer and bottled water with a varied menu.
Stayed overnight in a comfortable, good sized, clean accommodation.
Value for money package.
Nice hotel, lovely staff. The pool is great so is the spa in the room. Had a very pleasant stay.
Only 4 star but just like Bali..
Outdoor pool a good temp and rooms very nice.
Bar area next to dining is very nice with bamboo trees. Nice relax music.
