A great place to be inside or out, good covid checks on entry, one way system, a little expensive on food an drinks, but overall a pleasant experience especially on a warm autumns evening in the garden.

We had the Sunday carvery which was excellent. I had large thick slices of beef and pork. My wife is a vegetarian and they were only too happy to do a vegetarian option to go with the carvery. Plenty of vegetables on offer. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it.

Ate here today, and it was super. The best steak and ale pie I have ever had. All the courses were hot and fresh, and reasonably priced too. The atmosphere was warm, inviting & cosy, a pretty little pub, with really friendly staff. I would highly recommend this place.
