I purchased Ultion smart lock which had many faults so was returned for a refund. I also purchased Sweet letter box which corroded after 3 months which I was surprised at due to a cheap temporary door handle showed no corrosion after a year. Brisant replaced letterbox no problem so I have fitted a Sweet lock lock handle due to 20 year corrosion warranty.

These Ultion locks seem to be failing when used on some Solidor products. The clutch fails and door cannot be open with the key. This only seems to happen on one multi point lock type fitted and with key and turn only locks.
I have now seen or attended three occurrences.

Terrible customer service - very hard to get keys cut locally and no list of suppliers on there website then they send you a list of fake stores which are really websites to get keys from.

Poor security as (1) very easy to copy keys. Just note the code number on the key and order online from several websites... keys will be posted out very quickly. Couldnt be much easier!! (2) In the process I saw a video on youtube showing the lock being picked in a few seconds! I called the company and they said it is a fake video. I dobt the video is fake. It was by locksmithlawyer on youtube and he seems genuine unlike the company director of ultion. Also, there are actually lots of videos on youtube proving these locks are not as secure as they make out at all and can be defeated easily.

Wish I had bought something else and researched first as easy to defeat these supposedly secure locks.

Was very happy with the locks on my new conservatory, received an email recommending the purchase of the lubricant to use. Ordered it as it went through, I noticed the charge for delivery to the Highlands in Scotland, no not an island, was more than the cost of the lubricant!! Shocking situation, so cancelled the order.

Received notification (out of the blue) that I was to have a secure parcel delivered to me on Thursday 16th Jan. 2020. Had no idea what it was , nearing my 80's I find I get quite anxious about scams and mistakes on the computer and wondered what I had sent for. Could not get anyone to talk to me at DPD only answer phones. When I eventually found out who was sending it, they told me there had been a glitch and not to bother about it. The operator seemed to think it was all quite amusing and I was left thinking how are firms like this going to remain in business after we leave Europe later this month. Brisant Customer care ZERO !

Twice in a week you have messed my order up now causing me two trips back out to jobs that wasn t needed ! Not impressed

I purchased 2 Ultion locks through my local agent , the description wasn t very clear on their website . You need a Zigbee hub turns out for each lock ! It s a
great lock once you get it working but Brisant-secure were appalling for support . Luke who is their techie just stop responding to emails and asked me to send the locks back ! He was prepared to leave me in the lurch. Anyway thanks to the local agent Lockforce we managed to solve the issues and they are a nice piece of kit .. would not deal with Brisant-Secure company wish I had seen the reviews ...

Top level security for homes and business

I really don't recognise these bizarre negative reviews. I have dealt with Brisant for a number of years and never had anything but excellent service. I deal with Alex Dutton who is polite, knowledgeable and thoroughly professional.

Excellent service from this company measured up and ordered new Ultion locks on Thursday morning, recieved exactly as required on Friday morning. All fitted ok job done. Thank you.

Yes, the keys can be bent. They're only metal, not magic. I had a client use pliers on one. It bent. The lock still worked perfectly after I fixed the mechanism.

I have one of these Ultion smart locks Supplier by Brisant secure and although they work well. They are sooooooooo loud. So much so that I m shopping around for another make. The makers need to work on making it quieter. If I come home from shift work at 2-3-4 in the morning. The whole house is woken up by the noise of the lock. !!!!!!

No where in the literature or the videos does it show how loud the lock is.

I would suggest seeing one in real action before you buy it.

Good ultion door locks but avoid the smart lock it is terrible, more hassle than it's worth. Its definitely not worth its price, so unreliable.

Existing and new spare keys not strong enough and break/bend! One month on since contacting them about this issue-no reply despite two conversations! Not impressed.

They never mentioned how easy they are to drill of you drill it in the correct place also the fireing pin that is supposed to be proctected in a molybdenum core actually is not proctected in the molybdenum core once activated.

This company has mis treated at lot of local locksmiths too

Please stay away type in google Mul T lock 3ds or ABS very similar locks but excellent customer service and a much more secure cylinder.

Brisant will probably tell you we are bitter locksmiths company this is not the case we are the most honest friendly chaps you will meet, we have many many many years of expertise in the lock trade.

Excellent customer service help from Tammy who resolved my query very quickly. Very good quality locks in the Ultion range. I supply the keys through my company and all of my customers are happy with the security features in the locks too when i explain to them the way they function. I would recommend Brisant-Secure to everybody looking to upgrade their security.

Call to enquire about a certain size cylinder that I needed, they gave me a time when they'd be ready and I set off. I got there a little earlier than expected and had to wait a little, my own fault.

While waiting at the counter, I got a couple of messages on my phone, it appeared someone was watching me on the CCTV.

The person (you know who you are) in question, it transpired, had change companies and was now working at Brisant.

We had 'spoken' several times on social media as we're connected but never met in person, until now, he popped out from the offices for a chat.

Anyhoo, a little off piste but I have used Brisant products, amongst other makers, I would and do recommend them to customers when they are wanting more secure locks.

Not the cheapest cylinders and not the most expensive either but you get what you pay for.

Don t waste you re time with that Ultion smart it s doesn t work at all ,opens when it wants , leaves the house unsecure 0-10

Shocking company run by scammers. Mass roll over in staff with no real training other than lie to customers due to bad management. Not a care once has your payment, arrogant owner not worth anyone's time or hassle. Would never use again!

Once again a First Class service from Brisant after being let down by a courier. Went out of their way to keep my client happy!
