I really enjoy working with Bridges. They are very innovative in their solutions with placing hard to place individuals. I also like that everyone in management recognizes when thinks are not working well and makes a point to find ways to fix it. The regions work well together and are supportive. Many meetings to find out what is going well, and what is not and this ultimately helps support not only our individuals served, but the staff as well. Staff are offered gift cards when being asked to help cover those last minute scheduling needs. Various rates, and schedules to fit everyone's needs. Much better company than others I have worked for in the past. The owners are all very integrated into the teams and not one person rules the roost. If you enjoy working with people with disabilities, this is one of the better companies out there!
Lots of room for growth!

All I can say is they have 2.8 Star rating for a reason. I miss all my clients and some staff that I befriended but NOT the management. Unprofessional and neglectful to employees. My advice to anyone who works here. COUNT YOUR OWN HOURS AND PAY!! I had to correct my own pay over 5 times and it was over $100s of dollars in mistakes and I have every record of it. I miss the PCA field but this company made me take a break from PCA-ing altogether because of how poorly they treat their hardest workers. HR does not keep you confidential from retaliation when you file a complaint against other staff. Hope they do better because they have a lot of great clients in their care who deserve a lot better.

BRIDGES REVIEW CURRENT

Bridges MN is an organization that help individuals with developmental disabilities and/or severe and persistent mental illness, find and procure the living and personal support that they need.
I was admitted to Bridges MN in July of 2018. I had encountered a severe mental illness from depression that degenerated to a nervous system break down with a resultant effect that was loss of coordination.
As part of their reformation to transformation, I was merged into supportive employment services-placed under a program known as Independent living skills (ILS) tasked with maintence.
Individuals Living skills professionals are assigned to advise, train and collaborate with crew leaders of supportive emloynent to get progress notes and feedback on clients like me.
When a received thumbs up from my crew leaders(supervisors) that I did great at my job, I chose to reduce state and federal resources and strove to become completely independent.
I made this goal a reality because I moved from Bridges MN to Opportunity Community Services Inc. I work as Case manager assistant for Relocation (RSC) and Housing Stabilization Services (HSS)

Bridges Minnesota to me is a
Bridge to life and Opportunity Community Services is a connection point between despair and hope.

I have truly enjoyed working with Bridges MN. I truly will miss the staff and all the clients as well. My time there was an amazing one with great managers and I especially have to give huge credit to the Employment Services department and all the work they put in to make a positive impact on the world at large.

I had an amazing experience with Zack Horton the landlord services manager. Zack was a giant help through the whole process of me moving from the building that he over sees. Zack was very efficient and did things in an organized and timely manner. He made me feel like a priority when it came to getting me on track with everything I needed! If you have any sort of issue or problem, Zack is your man!!

This company continues to serve Minnesota by stepping up to the plate and helping people live the life they want to live, outside of the standard group home model. The owners believe every human being deserves to live an inclusive life with access to the home and career they want. This company is creative, cares about every person they serve and every employee they have is valuable. I'm proud to work for this company and be a part of life changing services in Minnesota!

Im sure for most disabled people, this company has done more to inconvenience VA's than actually provide assistance.

If you believe that these people always have your best interest at heart, your mistaken. I was blown away, by the lack of TBI comprehension that the staff lacks.

They treated my loved one no different that "joe nobody" on the street. I can understand someone not, in the profession, to be disrespectful to my family member. But to hear that kind of language and threatening behavior from the staff? Its down right criminal, petty, and immature. All of which someone who deals with TBI cases, should lack. So because the victim has limited thought functioning, no one ever hears about this.

I expected, incorrectly, that these people were professionally trained. For the most part, the entire staff has zero to no insight/training regarding how to properly treat someone with a brain injury. They even lacked common patience, which you MUST possess when dealing with TBI cases.

They treated my loved one so poorly, i want ANY and EVERYONE to know that this "system" in intended as a money machine, not a place where you can hope for a easier/better life for those with brain issues. I'd suggest any other company vs this one. Staff was disrespectful, insulative, and worse of all, did little to nothing to help my loved ones situation.

time and time again we were forced to navigate the healthcare system, housing assistance, doctors, health professionals, monetary matters, and everything else in life, by ourselves. Either the staff didnt care, or were incompetent, either which is unacceptable when your profession is helping people with serious health issues.

In their buildings, there is no supervision. Residents are free to bring in whoever they want(dangerous), including the staff being aware that residents, with serious brain issues, were: drinking, doing drugs, and involving themselves in violent situations with other residents. all of which have brain issues! Its mind-boggling that more residents aren't violently victimized, or hurting themselves due to lack of supervision.

They do their best to sweep it under the rug, as this would be bad for business.

Just blown away that an organization, made to help people, really has little interest in doing so.

ALSO NOTE, that all the "positive reviews" about Bridges, are from employees themselves. Where is the positive reviews from current/former clients and their families? strange, no?

after reading the reviews, im assured that i will receive a "lazy" mailed in response from the staff. Goes to show the lack of empathy this company possesses
