Very cosy. Good food. It was an old prison. Beautiful ambiance and a delicious kitchen. They can cook well here. The service was also very good. Friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

As a vegetarian you can always eat super tasty food here. Very creative meals.

Fine restaurant with a beautiful, surprising menu. Very hospitable service! When it is busy on the terrace, you may have to wait a little longer for the next corridor, but because of the fun, it was no problem for us.

Brasserie 1560 provided a delicious High Tea for my grandmother's birthday. Good food, attractive restaurant.

At the high wine you get fine wines, but few snacks. Also the snacks were not very tasty.
The staff is very friendly.

Undoubtedly my favorite, under a very old building the first mayor of Ijsselstein, is beautiful inside with abobeded roofs and a very pleasant atmosphere.

A nice brasserie where you can enjoy coffee, lunch and dinner. There is a varied menu, something for everyone. For a nice social hour with appetizers, it is a cozy establishment. Children are welcome and have their own corner.

Beautiful authentic building in the heart of the old center. Brasserie is downstairs in the vaults of the old town hall. Very atmospheric, but noisy. Card is sufficient and price is good in relation to the level: excellent dishes.

Great place, with atmosphere to be the master: the kitchen is also of a good standard, we had a dinner with colleagues and we enjoyed it. Economically not very well, more than anything else because of the fact that, as an Italian, I am used to spending so much only for high-end restaurants. The Netherlands, unfortunately, is not cheap ...

High tea is not really a highlight, but the dinner menu is great. Nice terrace because it is located in the historic center of IJsselstein.

The "luxury" high tea was for 2 adults and 1 child ( 10) 59.75, the child received minimal food and we had to order extra cheese sandwich.
Our high tea was consisted of 2 mini sandwiches, a piece of brownie, tea and soup. The scone was super dry and the clotted cream just whipped cream. Pre-indicated 1 person no fish and still receive fish. Both the sandwiches and the sweets were dry and not richly invested.
The teapot was never refilled in spite of "the lid was removed" as a sign of topping up. The table was not set before we arrived and there was not enough staff for the terrace. If we compare it with other high teas, this is unfortunately just below par. Normally you have a high tea or you are really full, in our case certainly not. We had partially paid with a gift voucher and experienced this as a sin for the entire gift voucher. Plus points are especially the nice crockery, the nice terrace and the soup that was also very tasteful. The quality of the food is very variable (both lunch and dinner) the one time we enjoyed delicious the other time it is a full plate back to the kitchen. Two extreme.

A nice lunch in IJsselstein? At this tent, the 12 o'clock is a good option. The prices are fine for the quality. Just nice for in between and not too busy. Staff is very friendly and there is always a solution when you have questions. There is also a room to rent for people with a party to about 100 people. In short, walk in and be surprised!

Very beautiful tent with an old arch construction. Good menu, good food and drinks! Centrally located and therefore easily accessible. Be advised when choosing wine. Special wishes, give it in advance and they will take it into account.

During our cycling trip, accompanied by good weather, we ended up 'premeditated' on the cozy and busy terrace of 'Brasserie 1560'. A terrace with a view of, among other things, the beautiful former old town hall. We enjoyed lunch with a delicious carpaccio and glass of wine. The wait staff was friendly and despite the crowds we were helped quite quickly. So what more could you want?

Ordered a home dinner for the first time. What a party! Now the service (Charles) was part of that :-). We had a delicious meal and attention was paid to details (garnish, a piece of butter cake with coffee). To be repeated.

Nice dinner. Despite being a gluten-free restaurant on Google, they have not managed to serve gluten-free (and contamination-free) food tonight. I will not eat there anymore unfortunately.

Cozy restaurant, in the heart of IJsselstein under the old town hall. In the summer a cozy terrace but also inside you are fine here. Delicious food, we will definitely come back again. Reserve on the weekend.

Vegetarian dishes for both starters and main, excellent product quality, presentation and taste.
The desert was incredibly tasty, I just wish I could have more!
The staff was so nice, smiling, helping...loved it!
Overall it is a real gastronomy experience that I recommend to anyone.

Fine kitchen beautiful location. But for older visitors a lot of noise.

Beautiful historic building. Good and cozy. However, not suitable for people with mobility problems. Stairs at the entrance.

Very unfriendly owner who keeps people away from his steps during the ceremony of chanice van de Sande. A chronically ill patient wanted to rest a while, but he was not allowed to. Scandalous behavior. Does IJsselstein treat his people like that ?? Never expected this !!!
