They have really fun sloes and great parks with easy medium and hard jumps
If you're a beginner, skiing will be easier.
My partner enjoys snowboarding and it was a big let down to not be able to get anywhere with snowboarding even after a one on one session with an instructor.
The key lesson I learned from this ordeal that I'm definitely not a snow sports person.
The amount of effort needed to even get ready and then adding on the equipment and learning curve - eep!
Fantastic lifts for beginners. They have a belt system that you ski directly onto that takes you to the top. Super easy.
Nothing to special about BM/BW. Great place to learn for beginners or if you're just looking for a quick ski/snowboard outing with your friends.
Pretty good for a small hill in Cleveland. They have hills with features and jumps, it's really fun to watch people do amazing tricks while u ride up the lift.
We took our grandson on Thomas the train, extremely overpriced.
Hey guys, you did a fabulous job of getting the hill back in shape after the warm weather. The skiing was great all weekend, and all of us in the industry would like thank you a whole lot! Scott from Buckeye
Hills are dangerous. Suffered a sprained ankle/knee after my board clipped a bad edge from rough snow.
The staff always do a fantastic job to help you enjoy your time here on the slopes.
Great place to take the family skiing. Did a great job with my 8 year old, with a few lessons. Everything is done well; Staff is nice, facility clean, runs are well groomed. Can get crowded, and I wish for bigger hills, but for Northeast OH it's cool.
Great music playing and good deals on ski clothes at their open house.
Yeet
Cool
Quite a high entrance fee for so few vendors. Don't go unless you have hundreds to spare. Vendors also outrageously overpriced. Not a good time.
We went and were waiting for an hour and only moved up halfway through the line to get rentals. They didn t even try to get more staff, and they only had 2 workers getting boards. There was like 200 people waiting and non of them were going to get their boats until 30 mins before close.
Great evening of skiing under the lights. No lines getting rentals and no lines on lifts.
Was there for a event in fall this is what it looked like them
Last year when I went it was my first day and the instructors were awesome
Great place, nice people around and the lowest price !
BMBW is a great resort. The staff are super friendly. Beats sitting inside all winter!
The perfect spot to spend your day when it's snowed in!
They have done an excellent job with grooming the hill!
Had tons of fun, our one child skied while the rest of us tubed. Would definately go back.
Staff is always friendly and helpful! Very clean in the lodge.
Great community resource with helpful staff and a low key vibe.
I love it. It's so fun and they give you fun lessons. Also the people teaching you are really nice and COOL.
Ha did you get the pun. Coll your in the snow, okay no.
Bye.
I have been going there for a ling time and it has not siesed to impress me!
The lines aren't to long even when it it's busy. If someone gets hurt there is the Ski Patrol and they take care of things very thoroughly. The hills are fun to go on and good for beginners and experienced skiers. The food is good and there are some options, but if you are vegetarian our vegan I suggest bringing your own food to eat. People are allowed to bring outside food into the lodge but not by the food court.
Nice little ski resort. I feel that the facility needs major upgrade to provide safe environment.
One of the few ski options in the area. Short slopes that are occasionally crowded, but snow conditions are generally good or at least available online. Cafeteria style food with the additional option of a bar at each location. Crowd depends on the day of the week as local schools use these resorts for ski club.
Open when its 50F out, can't beat this local gem!! The park crew keeps up on rails and jumps like it's their job. Great beer, good food, can't go wrong.
It's boring. If you are an intermediate skier or snowboarder don't waste your time. I get it it's the midwest but this is barely a sledding hill for most!!
it was nice but the hills are really muddy, they should probably wait until it snows to open
Had so much fun , 10 out of 10 will be going back , the staff was pretty chill to
Nice area to ski and snowboard at. The food is good but the prices are very over priced!! Bring your own food if you are going to spend the day there. That's what my friends and I will be doing the next time we go.
Nice places for Ohio. Good selection of hills for every skill level.
Love this place, always go here before a big trip to warm up, the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the blonde chick with the glasses that works at brandywine, she does all the payroll, she s sooo mean and her rbf shows it. Tell her to cheer up, you have a fun job, I used to work there and loved every second of it.
Boston Mills does not seem to keep their runs in good condition. The more difficult hills were very clumpy
Great place for trails, skiing and great scenic views
Brandywine is newer, so most people enjoy going there more. It's definitely more crowded. Both places are nice if you just want to hit the slopes, although Boston Mills' lifts are just a little rickety. Not bad, but its Ohio, you know?
Best local (to Akron & Cleveland) ski area....easy to stop after work for skiing or snowboarding.
Great place to learn to snow board it was my first time everyone was helpful. Had a great deal going on at the time
The lodge could use some work, but the hills are fantastic! The staff is fun, and it's just a good time. If it says anything at all about the facility: I have been snowboarding for 9 years and I have tried other ski lodges, but keep returning to this one. It is the best in the area, and I'm glad to call it my snowboarding home.
Went for an open house. A bit pricey. Gorgeous area. Have to go back in winter.
Great place to ski and awesome view of the steam train every year
Best ski and snowboard area in the Akron Cleveland area. It is where I learned to ride and will teach my kids.
It's a good hill for learning but if you are from out of town it's not worth going. Top to bottom in less than 30 seconds.
A really nice place. After 5.00 the place is full of children
Hills are okay for the area, but wary overpriced for what you get. Food and drink are outrageously priced, think movie theater prices. Bring snacks with you.
We arrived the hour early for lessons today. Everyone was pretty much useless. Everyone gave incorrect directions on where we start to lesson. Our lesson started late because group before us arrived late. I can t believe how poorly run this whole operation is run.
Been coming here since 8th grade. Had a hiatus of a few years. They shut down tigers eye, it seems, but the slopes are just as great as they ever were, with a couple of jumps and trick parks added for some extra flavor. Always a great way to spend a few hours or the whole day. Prices are reasonable for the activity, food court is a bit pricy (but no one is surprised by that), staff are very friendly and helpful.
Skiing can do here. When you go down the hill the bottom comes towards you very fast. Do not be afraid. Do not have a copy of the receipt for the Falcon 9 was nearly as much as I can get to the office and I will be there at least partially because I have to go to the store.
Good price for the area. Something fun to do. Good place full of good people.
My son snowboards here regularly and enjoys it. We buy him a season pass every year. Well kept.
The learn to ski program is amazing, my daughter caught on so quickly
Great place and Isaih did a great job teaching my daughter. Lexi great seller
This is a great place to come and take your children snow skiing or snowboarding. Situated in the heart of Cuyahoga Valley makes this location very easy to get to from Cleveland or the Akron Regional area. Boston Mills and Brandywine offer a bus that will transport you between the two facilities where you can use your same lift ticket at both. As an older skier, I typically would not come here for pleasure skiing because it has smaller train and typically many children present making it a little bit annoying but for someone who is learning especially for young children this is a perfect location to come to and it won't cost you an arm and a leg or hours to get to. They do offer a really nice cafeteria upstairs as well as a bar for the adults adjacent to the cafeteria. I find it fun to bring my children here and let them go and ski while I enjoy some relaxing time over a cold beer and watching some sports on the TV inside of the bar
