Poor in management, organization, communication and what not. Needs restructuring and major communication improvement. Very laid back...
Had a $35 copay on my medical insurance for Suprep. Was surprised to discover that was only a fraction of the price. This stuff cries out for a generic version as it's probably less than $10 of ingredients. They have reformulated it to use sucralose instead of saccharin. Although it was a very nontraumatic prep and my gastroenterologist said it did a good job. Much better than other people complained about their prep.
$88 copay after insurance for 2 bottles of 16oz each.., the ingredients of which cost no more than $2 (much less at volume price). Does Martin Shkreli (Pharmabro) own this company?
This is the manufacturer of Suprep.
This company should be ashamed of themselves for charging over $100.00 for the same type product you can buy for less than $20.00, over the counter.
They are ripping off the general public, insurance companies, Medicare, etc.
If they were making a children s cough syrup, they would have to flavor it to make it palatable.
Because they sell it mostly to adults, they could care less about it tasting better.
A greedy manufacturer that has no conscience!
0 stars! for SuPrep--but Google won't let me do that. 5 Stars for Customer Support staff at Braintree.
Paid $112 as "copay"!! and yes, ingredients cost much less than $10. and it tastes horrible, despite their "flavoring ingredients." And on top of that, the first dose gave me anaphylactic response within minutes of finishing the first follow-up water. They indeed need to be sued. Wondering if a class action suit is possible? Also wondering if the prescribers get a kickback.
It's now 3 weeks later since my initial review above. I took the step to phone the number in the Suprep brochure for adverse reactions. The woman I spoke to was incredibly courteous and helpful! She was genuinely sorry I'd had such a response, and yes, I could ask for a refund, and just do x,y, and z. She also said she'd alert the lab team to inquire about that batch. The next day I was sent a mailing label so I could return the unused bottle, postage paid. I've been told the refund was approved and can take up to 6 weeks, and I look forward to it.
So my experiences tell me the product is lousy, but the real live people at Braintree Labs are good folks. They get 5 stars!
This company has takena product that could otherwise be bought fot $10 packaged it and is selling it for $150.00. This is fraud. Medicare should be all over them.
A good product, well worth about 10% of what it costs.
Suprep - Look up the total cost for the (3) active chemicals used (99%+ pure) at Sigma-Aldrich a chemical supplier to labs and food groups and not the discounted bulk purchase price, you'll find a total price of about $1.68 for both 6oz bottles. Add in the packaging, flavorings, water, bottling etc, the product price outside of distribution, and back office costs you might hit +/- $10 with a realistic profit. Purchase price for the prep is $100 - 130
