When ever I've contacted BFC by phone they have been very helpful & dealt with any enquiry efficiently. They do a great job of keeping the rates reasonable & giving excellent service for things like waste collection, Bracknell tip is the best tip I've visited, keeping the streets tidy, the parks & country parks are brilliant, very well maintained. Schools in most areas seem to be very good. I can't see why there are so many negative reviews.

Instead of helping, they just transfer me to the people I wanted to complain about ( twice!!!!!!!) (!!!) very poor and lazy customer service.. shame and disgrace.

I rang and visited Times Square this afternoon, and both times the staff were very friendly and very helpful.
Just had one of their vans tailgating me down the M3 westbound with the driver clapping along to his music with no hands on the wheel at 70 mph. Typical of their staff I guess?
Getting anything from this council is like getting blood out of a stone. It's a constant battle and it wears people down. Most staff in the customer service department are robotic and very obstructive.

My Parish councillors are rubbish. I have sent three E-mails for help to Graham Birch this year and he has ignored every one, I have applied for an unused allotment plot three times, again ignored. I have compiled an on line complaints form, again ignored.
Do our Parish councillors do anything ??

Bracknell Council don't care about the citizens in their care or services they provide when it comes to social care and health! A typical council that is still stuck in the 70's!
I would recommend selling up and moving anywhere else!!! A beautiful borough ultimately let down by management and customer agents who have zero empathy and compassion!
There is no better way to get help, just waiting for notification, attitude and service are extremely poor. I hope that the staff in this company has changed to help everyone better.
Worse place to live when you need help, They dont care about the people living in the community they rather help themselves and n families. Poor Services.
Terrible customer service where they just talk to you with a bluntness that really means "I don't care or have the time to speak to you, get on with it" then they promise and don't deliver, these staff need serious customer service training
Great service all round. Very pleased with all aspects of what the council do and deal with the money that is spent.
i IGot excellent service, lady put me in the right direction where I had to go.
When I got to the department the lady was very very helpful, even helped me with my paperwork.
Found the building very clean and tidy, plus the staff worked with a smile on their faces.
There is a car park outside of the offices where you can park, plus there is a disabled parking space right outside the building .
Also there is a local bus service that stops near by, or failing that you have a local train Station as well.
Or if not you can take a taxi in, where there are taxi ranks nearby.

The tone, mannerism and attitude from the majority of council staff is not acceptable at all. From local councillors who hardly ever pick up their phones once elected to the town hall staff who in the majority of cases seem to take great pleasure in refusing to speak directly to the public (the tax payer).
Oh and why are all the customer service agents female when you call? This Council is run like a dictatorship.
