Bozzuto Review

Bozzuto is large corporate building management company that will try to dazzle you to get you in the door, but not follow through once a resident. They talk the talk on customer service, values, etc. but don't deliver when you really need help. I lived at Instrata Pentagon City for nearly three years in a nice one bedroom apartment, always paying rent on time. But when the pandemic hit and we found out we were expecting a child, we decided moving to a private residence was best for our family. After communicating this 60 days before our move and providing a doctors note recommending our early move out was in the best interest of both mother and baby, they were not willing to lessen or waive the two month early lease buyout fee (over $4k). They pointed to the "legally binding agreement" and said make "sure your account doesn't go into collection". Not very compassionate or understanding for a company that claims to put residents well-being as their top priority. Especially during a once in a century global pandemic that brought about many financial and health challenges for so many people. They were offering two-month waived rent if you moved in during the pandemic, but no such benefits if you should need to leave early. Offering a payment plan was their best solution. I was very disappointed with the way our early leave was handled considering the circumstances. When we really needed and asked for help, it all came down to transactions for them.

The corporate office is very strict. Think the pixies from fairly odd parents. Pulled your life together after a bit joblessness & LITERALLY being hit by a bus? They don't care. They demand perfection, lovely management but unfortunately the corporate office doesn't do empathy or case by case analysis. Basically dig up your deceased guardian or find a lesser place to reside. After everything that has happened in 2020, it is disheartening & disturbing to see that some corporations still haven't learned that life happens & that majority of people are worth helping.

You can t go wrong with Notch 8, it s a perfect location and in pristine shape, you can tell how well managed it is. The tenants I talked to are extremely happy living here, I think it s very important to like your neighbors since they make your community. Christine Barrett is very professional and took the time to answer all my questions and make me feel at home. I felt like she really cared about the community and making sure everything was running smoothly.

Not only does this building have an excellent location, but the value for money is unbeatable! The more I live in this building, the happier I am to live here! The management and all the maintenance staff are absolutely fantastic! Always available and able to solve your problems with kindness and professionalism! This is the palace to live in Alexandria!

Renter be ware! I moved out over 2 months ago and have yet to receive my security deposit. I spoke with someone at the corporate office via email 2 weeks ago and they said the check would arrive at my new address via FedEx. It never did. When I tried to reach again to inquire about the status of my check, corporate simply stopped responding to my emails. We ll see if they answer the phone. If not, I guess I need to get a lawyer about getting my damn money. Property was decent, just be ready to fight em to get your deposit back.

Recently moved out of their Halstead property. Last month they overcharged my account by $1000 and instead of refunding it immediately they decided to give me a credit that I won't get back for almost two months. Their employee would not even tell me if the deposit was mailed yet or contact someone who knew. 2-3 weeks is not an acceptable time frame to not know when you will get your money returned. Especially when you are deployed.

In today s age with most communication being online or email when it comes to apartment searching I was more than impressed with the real life communication I got back from this property. Both Tiffany and Jacqueline were extremely responsive and most importantly we re not an automated service. I do find email to be more efficient but it always does better when it s a real person behind those notes. When I did come to look at my apartment Tiffany was aware of what I was looking for and did not make me repeat all of my details not only that but she had pulled some layouts then more than met my expectations was actually better than I thought I would get. I still have a few more properties to look at , not only is this a gorgeous place I really feel like the experience given to the residence there is genuine. Thats a big deal so if you do look here make sure you ask for Tiffany she is amazing.

We have loved living at Alston for the past several months. The apartments are well equipped and spacious. We also enjoy the amenities which was a main reason for moving here including the gym, grilling areas and outdoor pool. Our leading agent Cindy goes above and beyond - she helped us get situated, is always available and just coordinated flowers for the birth of our daughter. We would absolutely recommend Alston to those looking.

Steele is a great concierge. He calls every time we have a delivery and every time we enter the building, he s there to immediately greet us and provide us with a great conversation! He is awesome, always going above and beyond to ensure that we are comfortable and really makes this place feel like home. It s the best walking in when Steele s on and we appreciate him so much. Such a fun, kind, caring and hardworking guy! Steele deserves a rating of 100 out of 10. Incredible service. We love him!

Just moved here 4 days ago... Paid extra for both of my cars for reserved parking because I have read reviews about cars getting broken into... I come down this morning to go to work and BOTH of my cars tires are slashed! No response from the management office, no cameras.. paying extra for nothing!
