We had booked a children's party with decorating our own pizza. Food was ok but not ready in time due to poor communication! There was little size balls for children and a lot of interference on the bowling alley! Very bad experience.
Today I went to the playground with my granddaughter, which is a nice playground which we enjoyed.

The terrace outside is great in good weather. Great location right in the Westerpark on the water. You can take your dog with you, water bowl is ready
Playground with dining facilities for the kids is spacious and great. BBQ at the bowling is delicious. The bowling itself was fun too. It is a cozy space for an evening with pleasure. Jobs upstairs, however, are in need of a makeover. For some courses, the part where the balls are ready is stuck with duck tape So yes, a makeover would not be out of place.
However, that should not spoil the fun. All in all a good location for a pleasant (family) night out

Lunch en aansluitend bowlen. Moesten haast maken met bestellen ivm dat bowlen maar een half uur uit kon lopen. Wij gelijk besteld omvervolgens bijna een uur te wachten op ons eten. Telfonisch besproken dat 1,5 uur vooreen lunch voldoende zou moeten zijn.... De lunch was er onder de maat, smaakte niet goed. Warme eten was lauw, oa kroket. Vervolgens bowlen, na een quest van de 2 dezelfde schoenen in de zelfde maat te vinden konden we gaan bowlen. Op de paar kegels na die door de machine werden omgegooid en niet teug gezet te worden, heb wij ons vermaakt. Wel jammer om er vervolgens achter te komen dat, omdat we nog gezellig bleven kletsen, er achter kwamen dat zelfs tot na een half uur niemand zich kwam melden voor de baan....

2 things are a bit old-fashioned and deserve to be tackled as far as I am concerned: you cannot pin and the playground is unfortunately still not smoke-free.
On a weekday such hard music is not really fun !!, There are children who have to sleep and the next day to school the parents have to work too! And now I sit with a crying child who can't sleep because of the noise? Very annoying
Nice place to sit. Dogs allowed on a leash. The girl serving us was extremely nice and hospitable.
We come here every now and then with a group of friends and colleagues.
It is enjoying an evening time after time.
The bbq and stone grilling is also very cozy and well arranged.
With our "Last Minute pass" we pay only 10, - for an hour of bowling.
An extra hour (if it is quiet) is no problem.
The service is good and the staff is friendly.
Had dinner at the Pirate restaurant. Nice service. And super fun for the kids. We have entertained us
Relaxed atmosphere, spacious terrace, cozy boats on the water, tasty fries and very affordable. Friendly people in the ministry, really interested. Large outdoor playground!

Cozy bowling, not much changed and also reminds me of the past. Nice price for an enjoyable evening of old-fashioned bowling.
This review is about the playground. Today visited for the first time. Immediately striking was the amount of waste on the ground and in the large castle. We arrived shortly after opening time, so apparently it stayed the day before.
You pay a lot for what you get because adults also pay. I think that then (it was very busy today so there is quite a bit of money coming in) at least 1 staff member must walk around to keep things a bit tidy. Of course people actually have to clean up their own stuff, but apparently that doesn't happen.
There is smoking, I think that's a disadvantage. And there are stinging nettles which I also don't like for my small children with bare legs.
It can not be paid with pin.
Because of the above I only give 2 stars, there is still enough improvement possible.
Positive is that you can take your own rug with you or find a place somewhere to sit comfortably and the children will have a great time!

Een uur een bowling baan gehuurd. Was erg leuk om te doen alleen wel wat achterstallig onderhoud. De baan leek niet van deze tijd, het systeem had namelijk wel enige fouten(werd soms een spare geteld ongeacht het aantal kegels dat werd omgegooid). Schoenen zijn ook duidelijk aan vervanging toe.
Ook een keer een poging gedaan om een fiets boot te huren en dit ging ook niet geheel vlekkeloos. Toen wij aankwamen bij de bowlingbaan (zonder reservering, dit is blijkbaar niet mogelijk in 2k17). Werd ons vertelt dat wij nog een ruim half uur dienden te wachten. Wij kwamen na een half uur weer terug, vervolgens was er nog steeds geen boot beschikbaar. Vervolgens brachten wij het personeel ervan op de hoogte dat er een boot beschikbaar was en dat die door gebruikt werd. Ons werd vertelt dat die boot kapot was en dus niet gebruikt kon worden. Wij weer terug naar de waterkant om te wachten op iemand die terug zou komen, vervolgens zagen wij iemand met de boot wegvaren die kapot bleek te zijn. Na meer dan een uur gewacht te hebben hadden wij geen zin meer om te varen.

Cozy and comfy. You can do a lot and enjoy playing, bowling and good food. You can also hold your children's party there.
Exactly what you expect from a bowling alley! Shoes that have never been washed, at least 3 incredibly noisy party parties, bowling balls with holes that are either too big or too small, super expensive snacks and drinks. 8/10 classic bowling experience
We have visited the fun playground. Unfortunately, it is true that they also ask entrance for parents. Father, mother and 2 kids to the playground is 15, - entrance and then all snacks and drinks. Very unfortunate that they ask parents to enter the entrance as if they were using the facilities. Parents also do not pay entrance fees at a monkeytown. Toilets were really dirty and toilet seats old! In short, playground is very nice only have to sell it all a bit better.

Been twice with children's party. The pirate restaurant was about half full, but the service could not handle it well. Took too long until the pancakes arrived.

We took a walk on Boxing Day and thought we would have a drink here. Nobody came to greet us and we sat there for fifteen minutes. No one came to us and they were in the ministry with about 8 people. They all passed by once but no one asked if we wanted a drink. Apparently they had seen us because the manager asked if we were helped. She said no and the supervisor just said okay. After fifteen minutes we got up and left. We walked past the owner when we left and my father said some bad service then but the owner looked at him and said nothing.

Experience today that hospitality entrepreneurs are not always interested in the well-being of their guests. On the bowling terrace in the Westerpark in Zoetermeer, the alarm went off from the Pia oxygen device.
I quickly went home to get a new battery, but had to leave her alone for a while.
While I was away, the alarm became louder and clearer.
The owner of the business sat with his family on the terrace. But he did not figure out where that noise came from and therefore did not care about Pia.
When I approached him later, he said that he was celebrating his son's birthday and that he had heard "something" but did not know what it was and had not looked further?
When his half family also came to get involved, we settled and left. To never come back. That should be clear.
No excuse could get rid of it.
As far as I am concerned, no more visits to the Westerpark bowling and recreation center in Zoetermeer. The new (Egyptian) owner apparently has different ideas about hospitality than we ...

This is a very nice place to visit with the kids. During summer there is a large out side play area (you need to pay) on the lake you can rent pedal boats and inside play bowling and eat in the different restaurants. The park is great for walks.

Cozy bowling center with a very friendly welcome. Borrow new bowling shoes, not an old mess. You feel at home there. Food and drinks are fine.
