Been already several times. The service and service were always good. It seemed like something had changed in terms of concept. You give, as always, a ticket to the ministry on which you indicate which dishes you want to order (2 pieces at a time). However, it has now become difficult to hand this card in. You have to say exaggeratedly to hand in the card. We have experienced this as very annoying. I do not know if this is deliberate (imposed on staff) in order to keep the number of dishes that you can order lower or that it is an unconscious action. However, it limits you in the food and it does not benefit the atmosphere. In my opinion, the operation has deteriorated severely. However, the quality of the food is excellent. However, the deterioration in the operation and the experience of not being able to order dishes fluently is decisive to unfortunately no longer go there.

OMG! Ate here with friends the other night. What an amazing place. Food, service , atmosphere all brilliant. Best eating experience I have ever had.

Here it is always good food and a cozy atmosphere. Because of the small dishes you can taste many new flavors

Today 16-02-2019 eat at Merlijn. Had heard positive stories so I was looking forward to a nice evening with our family. We went to the table at 5 o'clock and after an explanation we filled the first list in good spirits. Goh ... after an hour came the first order. Optimistically we filled in only 2 lists because we laughed at the fact that we would be too late to bow at 8 PM. After 2 hours and a quarter of an hour we had the third corridor. We have not seen the fourth at all. And for n dessert was actually no time because we were in the mess with the time to go bowling. So I can not speak of a nice dinner. The annoyance was enormous. And further than a simple excuse does not come. So no, this was not worth repeating. And now that I read several reviews, this is no exception. It is time that they start evaluating things properly. My tip ... allow less people. It is now too massive for the kitchen. He can not handle this large crowd. Incidentally, the food we received was tasty. So a compliment for the cook. The ministry did their best. And the boss may still follow one course problem solving. It is a pity that one nice dinner is ruined by your shortcomings

Outdoor seating is nicer than indoors. Lovely place for lunch with family in the summer. :)

Recently eaten at the Merlin .. it was very tasty!

Because of corona we were hesitant to go but they have good measures so we just felt comfortable eating here. Due to the side tables, the service is not too close to the table and therefore keeps a nice distance.

Just have a look at the new brasserie, how beautiful it is there !! Very different look than the restaurant but very hip.

We will definitely come again.

Just a very average tent. Food is really of sad quality. I really do not understand how people can be enthusiastic about this. Have been in my life in at least 100 different restaurants. This is in the top 5. Of worst, well-known.

Tonight again delicious food at Bistro Merlijn. Had been here before and every time it was great food. Similarly today. After a friendly welcome I was allowed to take a seat in the reception / waiting room because I was early and the restaurant was not yet open. The waiting / reception room was also the bolingbaan room. Because at bistro merlijn you can also enjoy bowling. After about 5 to 10 minutes they came to pick me up to take a seat at my table. Since I had been here before, I knew how their system worked so I didn't need any further explanation. The food was delivered very smoothly after you ordered it. Every dish that I had tasted very good and I enjoyed all the tasty dishes. You can normally eat unlimited food here until closing time. But due to the corona rules they now work with time shifts and now you can stay for 2.5 hours. But this time is really more than enough to eat your fill. Serving your dishes goes through an order form where you have to mark your dishes that you wish to eat. There is really plenty of choice so there is something for everyone. The wait staff / staff are very friendly and helpful. After just under 2 hours I was already reasonably full and went home full but very satisfied.

Who has not been here yet who should go!

I gave my girlfriend an evening of Merlin for her birthday.
We have done this dozens of times before just girls evening.
But this time it was terribly bad I thought there is a camera somewhere they are fooling us.
Patty was a dollop of wallpaper paste was not a piece of meat or mushroom in it.
Pork tenderloin with mushroom sauce without mushrooms.
Kipsate skewer was not a drop of sate to confess only coconut stuff on it.
Dame blanche ice cream only scoop of ice cream with a cup of old chocolate sauce.

Great catering company! Beautiful and particularly decorated. It can be busy, but with a lovely courtyard garden and a few bowling lanes, it is a unique location in Oosterhout.

Very nice place where you can eat on the basis of all you can eat but with all kinds of small snacks such as a piece of steak, cheese croquette, a piece of pork belly and so on. Super cozy though busy is very popular.

Yesterday for the first time .. super nice decorated and the food was delicious .. the snacks are more luxurious than at similar restaurants .. friendly staff .. the food is nicely made up we give it a 9 !!!

we have used the magic bites here. Friendly service and everything came quickly. Only thought the quality was not so good. Meat a bit dry and felt like it was all prepared as wax the day before. The desserts anyway, because they came straight from the fridge, making them much too cold and you could taste less.

Hanged on hold for over half an hour, waiting for the last 15 minutes first. After that I was fed up

Nice formula with a lot of choice in small snacks that were all very tasty. Also book here in advance because it is always full and that says more than enough.
