Loads of designer brands to choose from clothes and home
It's quite big selling a mixture of products. Better layout than previously but men's clothing section much smaller.
Purgatory........
World's biggest car park and felt like I should have caught the number 47 bus from my car to the front door.......It must have been 500 metres away!
Upon entering the building, be on your toes and muster the animal instinct of fight or flight as the women wield shopping baskets like swords.
It's like the 9am doors open Black Friday crush at Curry's when flat TV's are being given away.
OMG......avoid this place if you have a pulse because the target audience is the blue rinse brigade.
This place is a monstrosity and is full of impolite OAP's buying over priced tat for nieces and nephews.
These are Department Store prices but presented like a jumble sale.
Anyway....back to my experience
After only a matter of moments of entering the building, my chest tightened and I realised I was overdosing on Charlie by Revlon....which seems to be the 70's perfume of choice for all the female customers. Feeling the immediate need for medical intervention, I took out my mobile phone....guess what? Zero mobile signal, so no chance of a call to the outside world to ask for a rescue.
Before collapsing, I initiated fight mode and dropped to my knees. From down here I noted that people were not walking but shuffling in a similar manner to the zombies in The Walking Dead. I eventually made it as far as the Casio watch display (for reference, this is under the escalators)
I was approached by a friendly looking chap who identified himself as the leader of the resistance.
He led me by the arm to an area that can only be described as Nirvana
Welcome to misery corner
An area of seating with many comfy foam cushioned chairs where similar men gather to find peace......and it isn't outside a female changing room or toilet.
The view from Misery corner is the shoe department and it was entertaining to watch the fairer sex buying footwear that as we know is usually a size too small but fear not as Misery Mills has an expert on hand and a vast display of silicon shoe inserts to sell the customers with Hobbit feet
I eventually felt the urge to move as my fight or flight sensation re-emerged and stealthily made my way to the exit.
It's this bad...they sell liquorice in wooden bins targeted at the poor souls queuing to pay......and the queues are long.
It's no coincidence that as you approach this building it has the look of a prison.
Don't say I didn't warn you mk
Hugh variety of quality clothing and houseware. With the occasional bargain during sales
Excellent for all your shopping under one roof. Great food too.
Great place for all sorts of shopping and fantastic food in the restaurant
26 years since we last came and what a nice surprise.
Lots of choice, we are going to a wedding and we got everything we wanted, best to get there early as we did and a spot of lunch to.
Definitely going to be our regular shopping place.
Bought 2 pairs of shoes great price and very helpful staff
Went to Bumbellinis. Lovely room, nice atmosphere, excellent care & service.
Everyone should visit great place great savings and fab fish and chips
Use to be good value and good value. Now more expensive rubbish. No one staffing each department. Tried to purchase three items. Couldn't find boxes or assistance. Overpriced.
Clothing looks very good quality but may be for middle to older age people
Could have been better had it not have been for one sarcastic sales assistant in the shoe department
In and out in 5 minutes. Customer Service, absolutely fantastic!!
Great men's clothes, women not so much. Restaurant great food
Great place, love the clothes here, always get something here that I really like.
Okay for a wide variety of designer clothing etc. Atmosphere is like walking into a graveyard.
My first time here and it is as good as the stories, if not more. Some excellent pricing reductions.
I would return to Boundary Mill in the future.
Be careful it's not as cheap as you may be led to believe ,not my cup of tea but if your a shopaholic you might enjoy.
Accompanied by wife shopping, a must after shopping would be fish chips and peas ,followed by dessert all gluten free served by polite table service will
Highly recommend
Large store full of clothes, household furnishings and kitchen and dining essentials. Great place at good prices. Food and coffee available to refresh yourself whilst out. Good choice.
Want a bargain. Here is the place for you. Cafe and restaurant are not to bad as well.
Always worth the drive to visit here.
Plenty of good quality clothes to choose from.
Perfect for doing our Christmas shopping, with lots of ideas for gifts.
Most enjoyable visit and the meal in the Restraunt was First class
First ever visit. Blown away by the large range & high quality of men & women's fashion plus great food at Bannisters Restaurant. We'll be doing our Xmas shopping here this year!
Fabulous designer shopping, afternoon tea in the beautiful restaurant
Worth a visit but not the bargains you might expect.
If you want a quality business suit at a great price.....come here
The old layout was better
Not a lot to see or buy. Unless you have a lot of money
Why have a card to say 10% off when l was told its only Thursday night .So why she I come back all the way from Blackpool. I forgot it's only for the people who live or work near the mill.
From shopping to coffee... love this place just for an afternoon out. It's really nice and a good way to pass time.
Great selection , a bit pricey so search for the bargains .
Not a great day out at Boundary Mill today, short amount of staff on the tills sorting out customer returns taking an eternity and being at the back of the massive queue didn't help. A microwaved croissant in the cafe meant it was hard boiled. I'm sure it's not always like this.
Bit of a disappointment. Not especially cheap and quite awkwardly laid out.
Extensive range of goods available Personally the linen, cookware and smellies section is what we buy there. Lots of choice with good cafes and restaurant, a good day out for the over 55's...
Good store but mostly for older people clothes wise, tend to get very crowdy during weekends. Good selection of kitchen and dining items
Good variety of clothes & shoes- prices are decent as well, huge car park so ample parking!
Always have a good breakfast there in their new lovely dining area. Staff are very efficient its a nice place to be when eating. The store has some good bargains too.
Great choice of clothes, excellent for a wet winters day.
Lots of choice at reasonable prices and good choice of eating options
Massive warehouse, everything you need under one roof
Excellent shopping and good choice of eateries to choose from.
Good place if your looking for an outfit, clothes are too jumbly and difficult to see though good if your happy to rummage upstairs glass & China is much nicer & the m&s outlet is brilliant.
Didn't get much chance to look. Prices seemed a bit high. Still as busy as ever
Boundary mill customer services have been fantastic dealing with an issue I had with some walking boots. Thank you.
Excellent service received from customer service Colne (Sarah and Christine) thank you both, credit to Boundary Mill.
A vast space, full of clothes, shoes, accessories for both men & women. Home-wares of all description. M&S outlets etc., and more. Along with a large cafe & restaurant. Well worth a visit... especially on a rainy day
Friendly staff very helpful
Sis
Went while clearance sale on bot too bad ate in Bumbelinos staff really nice and friendly would recommend
All brands at reasonable prices, always clean, bright and fresh presentation of goods on sale.
Nice clean place, easy to get to. There is a couple of food and places , so should cater for the variety of people wanting to go. Large car park for shopping and easy to get to off the junction and signposted well in Colne.
Very nice as never been before very clean and tidy good choice of clothes and homeware but make sure you have a lot of time to have a good look round
Giant jumble sale! No structure to the layout down stairs
Lots of choice but find the ladies clothing section too dated
Some decent deals, but don't assume everything is cheaper. Can get very busy
Not as good as I remembered it at the old site, plenty to look at though
Great store with near enough everything you can think of on sale. The car park is huge and the cafe is excellent.
Fabulous. A store full of amazing value quality clothes and housewares. Restaurant a little expensive but Bannys fish and chip shop is good. Often very busy. But good selection of food. Just let fresh fried fish drain so it is not greasy. Ample car parking. A good place to visit. Allow plenty of time. There is a lot to see.
