Probably one of the most impressive libraries I have visited! From the beautiful statues at the entrance, light fixtures that look like they came from Narnia, incredible murals painted on the walls and ceilings, to an absolutely fascinating children s library, this place should not be missed! We spent a few hours here and could have spent all day!

This library is so beautiful and a must see on your visit to Boston. I m pretty sure a lot of movies were probably filmed here. There is a lot of history just in this one library and the architecture is beautiful!

After a 4 hour flight delay to get here, we arrive rather late, we actually ran to our hotel to drop our things and ran straight here. It is hands down the most beautiful library I have ever sat eyes on. I watched my boyfriend almost shed a man tear as it has always been his dream to go here. It's a lot bigger in person than I ever imagined! Please take time out of your day to visit here!

Apart from being tourist spot it is a great place to work and study for free. The Study Halls are spotless, quiet and most tables have plugs.
Super clean bathrooms and coffee downstairs.
Wi-Fi is not very stable.

I absolutely lived this library. When you walk in, there is this modern looking library with tons of technology and a radio station and a very very tasty cafe But what I really like is how the main part of it is how historical it is when you go throughout the old parts. Tons of old maps and books and murals on the ceilings and walls. It was like walking through time. Would definitely recommend going. Even for a date. Plus the courtyard is very relaxing if you want to just chill or read, or even do homework.
