A lovely small intimate theatre. The plays and performances coming through this space each build it to what they need so it's quite different each time you go into the space.

Overall I had an amazing time at "What a Rough Beast" by the underlings theatre co.

Fantastic little theater that puts up amazing shows. this is a photo at the end of 9th Annual 1 Minute Plays in which 10 different groups presented 5-6 one-minute plays each that covered wide range of topic..

It is right across from Green Line's Pleasant Street station and plenty of restaurants around.

This is a wonderful local theater located just a couple dozen feet from the Agsnis Arena at Boston University.

I know for sure they have at least 2 we'll set up black box theaters, possibly a third.

All of the shows are new creations from local Boston playwrights and production companies.

I am unsure as to wether the theater selects admissions on a case by case basis or simply allows the shows to perform if they rent the space. All shows must be by local artists.

I have seen 3 plays here in the last 6 months and all have been good.

The last play, The OK Diaries by Jesse Strachman (written, directed, and produced by his company Blue Spuce Theater), was a shocking real life look at the online dating world and it's treatment of women. Well written and informative it showed how the anonymous nature of online culture entitles people to treat women like objects and possessions to be conquered, all accounts were word for word taken from actual emails sent to women.

All profits for this show were donated to the Boston Area Rape Crisis Centers.
