If you ever have nothing to do and you wish to go into the South End of Boston be sure to check out the Boston Design Center parking is free right in front of the Black Falcon terminal. Here is an amazing sight to see with dozens and dozens of interior designers and incredible Furnishings can be seen all at once. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

One of the most romantic places in Boston adjacent to a cruise terminal and an abundant smell of rotting fish in the air due to the close proximity of fish processing plants and heavy bearded fishermen with dirty hands, dirty clothes, dirty teeth, dirty mouths and big stuffed gassy bellys.

Not sure how this place has such a high rating. The customer service is nonexistent. Everyone in the stores are glued to their computer screens unable to even say hello. More and more empty spaces, seems like the public is abandoning the center. I m surprised since an unwelcoming feeling permeates the place.

I went to the Boston Design Center for the American Made event this fall. The space was fun--industrial, one of those huge freight elevators--huge windows with great views, and it was well suited to an event like that. We weren't initially sure where to enter the building, but once we figured it out we were all set. There's an inexpensive garage across the street that was handy since the parking lot was full when we got there.

Traffic during the day is a nightmare owing to only a very small loading dock available for the majority of the building occupants. Very tight competition creates unsafe conditions on a regular basis. Extremely poor planning of logistics. Otherwise it is a good place to work.

This place should be ground-zero for anyone looking for pretty much anything relating to home and/or commercial building projects. There are multiple levels (six, I believe), each with its own selection of stores selling everything from furniture to raw building materials. It's a great way to compare disparate types of materials, motifs and taste. Quality/Pricing runs the gamut, from very high-end to quite modest. At the time of this review, the building is undergoing renovations. It looks as though the updates will be quite attractive when complete.

I'm visited this place as business man and I can say just best things, sample: there is so many loading docks and one more interesting thing for employees and visitors bike parking, but this parking is equipped with a tiny bikes repair shop with tools - this one never se in my life. Awesome place 10 of 5 star.

I recently purchased tile from Ann Sacks based on a sample. The quality is far superior to other choices from competing companies. Barbara is extremely helpful in providing guidance on product selection. The showroom is gorgeous. By appointment only.

Because of the cruise ships, the city has altered the maps so you can never arrive in the cut de sac of the building, which is 1 Design Center Place. Also, they are moving the entrance to the side, which should look great, but its currently confusing for visitors.
