Best equipment options and demo rooms. Gave me the full range of speaker options to evaluate. Sold me on the GoldenEar speakers system for my 7.1 system. Worked with me on my existing components and integrated seamlessly with my media room plan that I had developed in my new home. Installation was top-notch in every way! System performs above expectations. I couldn't be happier with my overall system.

If you are looking for service after the sale, don't do business with Stereo East. I was really happy with the job they did installing my media room, but just recently, my receiver stopped passing through HDMI. It's under warranty, and I can't use the media room without the receiver so I was anxious how long the repair would take. They were non-committal, and said it would take a week minimum, more than likely more. Upon talking with them further, a lot of that time would be the receiver just sitting in their office. They said they wouldn't be sending it to the authorized repair center until they had a few more that they needed to send in. I got the address of the repair center and took the receiver to the repair center myself. It will be repaired in 4 business days. The week plus that Stereo East quoted me was simply due to them being too lazy to take the receiver to the authorized repair center (which is about 20 minutes away from the store). If you do business with Stereo East, you can expect a quality installation, but don't expect any customer service if you have any issues after the fact.

I was totally going with Stereo East until I dealt with the sales guy Anthony M. He was extremely rude and acted really put out when I wanted to change my quote from a 7.1 to an Atmos system. I wont be treated like that especially when I am about to drop 10k in cash.

Anthony made the decision very easy to move forward with Stereo East and communicated with us every step of the way.

Both of the techs spent about 6 hours and never stopped. They went out of their way to make everything work.

I had my system installed and we re loving it. There's nothing like having my own movie theater.

I have been a Stereo East customer since the very beginning. I used to make the trek from Fort Worth to Belt Line and Preston every weekend to check out the latest laserdisc releases. My first purchase was the Criterion BLADE RUNNER and I remember wondering if "wide-screen" would ever catch on... I don't wonder about that any more! Over the years, my visits to Stereo East have diminished (they keep moving farther away from me!), but whenever I drop by, I feel that I'm in the company of old friends. Gary and Nick and the rest of the staff are always super-friendly, and the years melt away. These folks treat new customers the same way they treat me -- friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and not pushy. Stereo East was and will remain my favorite audio/video store. I can't say enough positive things about these guys.

Kevin was informative about my needs and what impressed me was him checking on the job on his day off. Installers were friendly and cleaned up after they were done.

Great service from start to finish, I'm very much satisfied. They were very knowledgeable and provided me with several options to choose from. All went well. An issue with a damaged cabinet was solved promptly and I was offered a new upgraded one. Great customer service overall, I'd highly recommend it!

From beginning to end it was a pleasant experience. The techs were wonderful. They were at my house for 4 days installing. At the end of each day everything was cleaned up and put away. This was the best experience I have ever had with someone doing work at my home. Installers were top notch, knew what they were doing and very polite.

This is the 3rd biggest investment we've made next to our house and cars. It was well worth it and we couldn't be happier!

It is very important to me that people who come out to my house are respectful of my house while they work. I have seen the gamut of contractors and I have, myself, even been one so I say this with much experience, Stereo East has recruited a team of technicians that are truly top notch in their professionalism, knowledge and care. Finding people with the skills to do a job and to be sensitive to presenting the proper decorum in someone else s house is a tough task. I applaud Stereo East for finding not a few but many who fit this bill; since I have had at least four different teams to my new home, I believe I have a place to speak. Thank you Stereo East!

Attention to details are not there. Very bad experience. The guy who came to install doesn t even smile and anything you ask like Programming nest, roku. He says no. But in the store they give all rosy picture that they will do it. They talk as end to end system but there are a lot of hidden things which they don t tell you. I should have gone with someone who will educate as well. This company is only for very high techie people who knows what questions to ask. Not for people like me who expect stereo east to educate and guide. I m not confident in what systems they installed. I don t trust these people anymore.

Anthony was great, the installation team was amazing and very courteous. Loving my home theater system so far. There were some technical concerns after installation and the team came back right away to make adjustments which was very appreciated.

they are the choice of my builder. had to have them do the absolute minimum since the prices are so outrageous. completely dismissive of any solutions i wanted to make happen outside of the setups they have in their demo room, during or after my new build. in my neighborhood, many new homes with this builder, this is the sentiment no matter what they write in followup comments.

Darrell did awesome taking time out to explain to me in detail about all the equipment and options that are available. He really made my buying situation easier for myself. I really appreciate the no hassle environment. The techs did a remarkable job. They explained everything to me and answered all my questions.

We also appreciated the help in choosing the right equipment and the people who installed the systems did excellent work. Purchased an EPSON projector and completed the install myself. 2 weeks later, I got the auto iris error and called to see if I can exchange the product. No exchanges and no support since I did not purchase their install service. Sad to say, I've received better service from amazon or other big box retail shops. unfortunately I won't be supporting this local shop.

Everything is working great. It is hard to keep my daughter out of the room now. The three installers were real friendly and professional. I enjoyed working with them on getting our media room up and running and staying under my budget. They showed us all the options and I think we picked the best one for our needs. We have had several movie nights and we can t wait to get the new projector to check out a 3D movie.
