Very wellcoming guesthouse n friendly staff uld feel home away 4rm home

Booked through Agoda, 12_14 April for a family breakaway, chose the rooms as displayed online. On arrival was given a room diff to what is displayed, room 29&30 is old, carpets were dirty, shower not working the alternative was old. lights switches works visa vesa & safety hazard has switch in the bathroom. TV screen blurry and very vivid.bedding was ok, WORSE of all room is connected to the kitchen and there's an industrial motor fan that runs the whole time, at night was unbearable, at night 23h30 the security managed to switch off, 5:30 was switched on again, couldnt wait for the morning to leave place. This room is like a staff hostel with a nice bad only.
Notified the lady at reception and emmediately gave a much better room.still suitable for family. She was helpful & friendly. Management not even one person showed up, or send apologied for the trauma they gave us. First night money wasted. Breakfast.. needs improvement its very poor and basic basic, not appetising. B/fast cereals are fine.
Area nice and quiet - if away from the kitchen. Staff is friendly.

They are just the best. I wish they can up the standard a bit more for all customers...

Very nice room, but the first night dinner was a disappointment. Dessert the other days were delicious especially the peppermint crisp tart and fridge tart. Chicken kebabs and beansalad was yum.

Sort out the food and it will be a nice place to stay.

Friendly staff, well appointed rooms loads of parking. Small gripe. Bit more effort on the coffee and tea in room.

I'm currently in the guesthouse for a vacation it's my day three and I'm already feed up by the service I'm receiving, firstly the cleaning part is zero I have been having the same beddings and wen I asked for clean sheets and pillowcase the don't have, the cleaning stuff are not doing anything when I complained their gave us attitude. I will never come back here again , I'm so disappointed and hurt!

Lovely family room. Nice and tidy. Clean and neat. Spacious room.

It's amazing ...huge rooms ...very private and quite ...with our kind of job when we get to a guest house we just want to rest and no noise...and this place was just what we needed. I loved it and it has a lot of huge mirrors...ohhh...wow...they just completed my day ...with huge mirrors all over the place ...lol

They charge even for day that you didn't say. When you ask they tell you about policy which they never show you

I felt totally ripped of by Boschendal Upmarket Guesthouse. I will start by telling you what is good about the place. It looks quite nice, rooms are quite nice. the garden is nice, bedding is clean, towels and curtains are clean, the overall appearance is clean, there's covered parking space but thats about it.

The staff at Boschdal Upmarket Guesthouse are either incompetent or the owner is charging for services not provided or catered for. Our friends got a room where the aircon did not work in late November heat. After being moved to a smaller and less "Upmarket" room, that aircon did not work either and it was never repaired. Bochdal Upmarket Guesthouse claims to have a pub. Yes they apparently do BUT, is only visible through a closed window which might as-well not exist because, despite the place being booked full, it never opens. There is a fridge in the room BUT it has NOTHING in it, so If you want to drink water you better be willing to drink tepid and unpleasant tasting water out the tap. The TV in the room is the size of an average computer screen worthy of being watched by means of binoculars. The owners or Boschdal Upmarket Gusethouse claim that. "Guests can enjoy a buffet-style dinner outside on the tree-lined terrace, which includes a fire pit." REALLY? Somehow we missed that despite staying right next to the location! Buffet English Breakfast is advertised to be between 7AM and 10AM. Because Boschdal Upmarket Guesthouse was fully booked (described as Chock a Block by staff) we opted to miss the rush and attend during the last hour. This turned out to be a huge mistake because there was nothing left and may have been a first come first serve, while stocks last type of thing. There wasn't enough bread to make toast for all of the people attending and if your choice was white bread, there was none in the bread bin. There was a plate which appeared to may have had grated cheese in it at some stage during the morning. The scrambled eggs in the warmer was enough for 2 of the 4 of us but had become something other than scrambled eggs which those unfortunate to dish it up, chose to scrape out of our plate 5 minutes later.There was apparently 2 chicken nuggets which my partner had found but I could not. There was the remains of some sort of stir-fry which the meaty parts had already been scavenged and there was no beacon or sausage except for the greasy but otherwise bare warmers where it might have been in. After asking staff to replenish some food they arrived 15 minutes later with a dish of beacon and some fish cakes and offered to make us fried eggs.

In short. I would strongly suggest you keep looking for an alternative because. I have stayed at guest houses for less than HALF of what Boschdal Upmarket Guesthouse charges and I am honestly of the opinion that, other guesthouses at much lesser rates do deliver a superior experience, service and value for money. With a stay that for me, didn't leave a bitter taste in my mouth and that, did not necessitate a stop off at the Star Shop at the petrol station round the corner to fill the gap.

Great Connect to Sun City

I visited this place in 2016 and I was impressed by it. The facilities are very clean and relaxing. And the price I good if you can't pay accommodation at Sin City.

I didn't enjoy d breakfast. I think they should up their game.

Beautiful facility and has the best scenery. The area has tranquility and peace of mind.

Very neat and very nice room, has everything you need! Good service and if you are a plant lover, their nursery has allot of fabulous plants! Some pretty rare species too!! Thanks for the wonderful service !

Very cozy place. Their bathrooms have a tin of polish and some brushes for the shoes. I had a wonderful stay there and their food was awesome. I enjoyed the spinach and natural honey.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and wish to return again in future. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The meals I received were delicious and there was sufficient variety at all meals. The service received from the staff were friendly, speedy and very pleasant. I would highly recommend Boschdal Guesthouse.

The mountain's view is very nice, and it's very peaceful there.

The most horrible experience ever, the prices are reasonable but to be treated like a criminal was the last straw!! Checked out earlier than planned but now I know service beats cheap any day!

The staff was very friendly, the rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable to sleep in. The buffet was decent.
