Love the ambiance. The bar is hands down awesome (don't forget to check out the bathrooms). The prices are steep but if you love quality you will get it here. The rolls, Ceaser, and all steak but especially the Wagu are AMAZING!

Found a twine (poultry/meat string) in our Beef Wellington. Leeks were over bearing and salty. Food is underwhelming considering the restaurant is beautiful down to it's details of gold touches. I'd go for a drink to check out the place but skip on the food.

One of the nicest places in San Diego to eat and drink at. The menu is also hilarious, I took a photo of the happy hour menu which has really good deals, I love the Wagyu steak sandwich and the Philly cheese steak. I ve heard they have great steaks, but the bottom area doesn t open until 5pm and it s usually slammed on the weekends, people know what s good in Little Italy and Born & Raised is a staple. I heard a while back that just the interior cost $1.5 million alone to design, it has a Great Gasby feel to it, the bartenders wear Tuxedos and shorts, that s pretty badass if you ask me. I come here a couple times a month, it would be a great place for dates, business lunches/dinners, or just getting hammered. Also great service and drink selections too. I would highly recommend and if you don t come, good for you too, more space for me haha. Thank you to the people who work here, management and the owners. Also I m attaching a picture of the Spinach pop tart that just arrived. See you again soon! Just attached the Shitty Chef Driven Slider.

Very disappointed! This place is known to be the hottest place to be in San Diego right now. The front desk girls are lost but I'm sure it's because they are very busy. 10 empty tables and we still had to wait 20 minutes but that wasn't a big deal but the waygu steak I ordered tasted like a regular New York steak why did I get charged $180 for a steak that should have been $50. We also had truffles shaved over the steak and those had zero flavor. $450 for a dinner for 2 isn't that unheard of these days but I do expect good food for that price tag. I will admit the gnocchi with meat sauce and mac & cheese sides were fantastic.

We came from Arizona for my love's birthday. Truly the best dining experience for our family! The service was impeccable, ambience was unforgettable, and food was an absolute delight. We recommend the tableside services from the steak tartare made with filet mignon to tableside drinks to tableside ice cream. It was the most amazing experience that we will never forget! Thank you so much.

Amazing place with good drinks, great service and the flower threes behind the bar are just stunning. It gives a really cozy feeling and it feels like you are sitting in a garden enjoying fancy drinks. I will recommend the place if you haven t already been

You get what you pay for, and B&R is my favorite restaurant in SD. Head to the upstairs bar for drinks in the sun while you wait for a table, you won't be disappointed with the atmosphere or service. I managed to eat all the food ordered before remembering to snap a pic - but def pretty tasty. The dry ice cocktail was a fun feature with a cool presentation, I'd recommend it for a first time visitor or a date night while you wait for your food!

I really like the athmosphre here. They have an amazing drink called French 75 that is delicious and refreshing. The second floor balcony is good even in San Diego "winter" because they have haters everywhere. I never ate here but the food looks delicious, especially the steaks. Better make reservations if you want to eat here. They also have a bar downstairs which stays open later than the one upstairs but most of the action is upstairs.

Incredibly good steak, and a great variety of liquor. They even had Buffalo Trace, my single favorite bourbon. That being said, the time from sitting down to getting our food was well over an hour. Regardless of how good the atmosphere was, that is a long time to wait. But the food is worth it. I had the ribeye, and my group also ordered the mac and cheese and the potato gnocchi, which were both incredible.

Regardless of the wait, I would definitely recommend, but because of the wait, I can't in good conscience give them a full 5 stars. Chances are good you won't be disappointed.

One of the top stake house in the city. Good drinks good food. The price is step but well worth it if your into fist class service. I compare it to Cowboy star. They can prepare the drinks right in front of you if you want (wasn't all the special). They provide an experience as well as great food.

I've been here twice for my birthday. The first time we had top service and amazing food. The second time the service went down noticeably, though it was acceptable and the food was still amazing. Dropping one star for the average service

Went last night for 3 friends' birthdays, 1st time here - underwhelmed! Lobster bisque was a little better than average. Prime rib is supposed to be like butter, melt in your mouth (try Smith & Wollensky in NY...butttteeerrr), not the case here - was small, overcooked and the edges were soooo salty I could barely eat it. Side dishes were small and the 2 potato dishes were below average, not seasoned well at all. They didn't even give the 3 birthday guests a courtesy macaroon. I'm from NY, and you know how we love our steakhouses, unfortunately this is below our standards.

Wow. Really wow.

Wow. Really wow.
If you can, get the Wagu sampler. It is amazing. Steak tartare and duck were also noteworthy. This pretty much made up for the slow service.
