Purchased a custom footbed with canted boot. The boot started falling apart before the end of the season as the canting shaved away too much material and ultimately it cracked. Over summer discussion they argued about needing to do anything but ultimately agreed to "fixing it" when we returned to PC the next year. They epoxied the cracked areas and within just a few more days of skiing the toe pieces cracked as well.
They did agree to replace the boots with a new pair (no additional cost) and not to my surprise I have been skiing them for an additional two seasons without any cracks on the toe pieces or any issues whatsoever. It is a shame because the boots as they perform now truly are top quality but the canting job they perform clearly is a type of guesswork that i'm sure the boot engineers cringe upon as no doubt does this reduced the structural integrity of the boot. My advice would be to forgo the custom bootwork if you are going to go through these guys (both the cost and the hassle) but my experience from a customer service perspective was quite regrettable
