Went to a concert in February. This place is great. Real good sound and the security staff is fantastic. These guys make it easy to access ADA. My family and I go to a ton of concerts all over the country and so far this place hits my too 10 for ADA treatment. Only negative I can add is all the panhandling out front but can't blame the venue. Drinks and food about average for Area however parking is pricey if you have large truck or SUV.

Giving it four stars because generally if you scan your ticket here you can leave and come back in, which can be problematic when the tickets and website said the preshow and main event start at a certain time, only to get there to discover that they're both starting 2 hours late and you can't leave to go get food to pass the time. Ugh. Its a cool venue though and has some tiered seating which is first come.

Interestingly small place. I actually very much enjoy this venue, especially for concerts, because it's very intimate and cozy. Some people would probably say it looks a bit bad at the front, and looks a bit "patchwork", but I've been to many concerts and I'd say I'd love to go here again. Especially if The Manx plays here regularly.

A very fun place to hang out! Singers on stage take requests, you get drunk, you have a fun time. Really will grow on you, went here two nights in a row. Old school large bar. Only good for beer/wine, mixed drinks were weak. Great place to go with a large party, they have tons of room.

It was a very funky place but the vibe was cool, people were very chill, and the music venue was actually quite professional. Multiple stages with unique, bohemian setups. Bartenders are good and selection of beer and drinks is better than I expected. Quality of sounds and lights were great, it's a very intimate performance theater.

I've been here twice for the same show. Every time the Bootleg has been amazing. There are some renovations currently happening and the place looks really good. The staff are super helpful and friendly. This is a great place to see a show or host a show.

Great small venue to see up-and-coming bands as well as established acts! You'll love being able to see them up close. Decent beer selection - though pricey, outdoor patio when you need some air, and go meet the band members at the merch table after their set.

I love this spot. They have a really great set up: ping pong table, screening area, seperate bar where stage is, and a lounge area. They don't serve liquor, but have some really great beer/wine selections. The community is very.... 'hip'.

There are essentially three spaces to this venue. When you first walk in there is a merch area and seating with tables and chairs. Also in this front room is an atm and a ping pong table. This is a good area for conversations while waiting for bands to go on. Or if a band genuinely sucks and you need to retreat.
Continue from that room past the bathrooms and into another large room where alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages can be purchased. Sound from the show is piped into this room. Loud enough that conversations needed to be shouted.
The last room is the main stage space. The sound is pretty good. Vocals were a bit loud this night. The floor space is more wide than it is deep for standing room. There are seats that are tiered like a theater.
Overall, would definitely go back. Chill people. Front door cashier let me buy vinyl from him before the headlining band finished up (with cash only).

Went to see a one man show actor friend was performing. Excellent show and the space is great! The physical space reminds me of the multitude of off-off Broadway places in NY, in the 70's. This theatre deserves support! Check out their website.

Perhaps they've changed things since other reviews for this place have been posted: they do serve liquor here, and it seems that they allow parking at the church parking lot across the street (other side of Beverly); it's been free the two times I've been here.

Parking is either street or church lot (across from the entrance)
The interior is well decorated with an employee only loft. Warehouse style set up with a bar and the auditorium in other rooms
The auditorium is a room with brick walls and wooden rafters. Sound reverberates well throughout the room. The auditorium can be entered through the bar/lounge or from the outside patio
2+1 indoor restrooms and 2 portable toilets outdoors without sinks. Indoor restrooms have stickers posted as decorations, while the portable toilets are located in the dark and difficult to do your business.
I went to a show to see guitarists Trace Bundy and Sungha Jung. We parked on the street in front of some liquor stores. The neighborhood looked a little sketchy, and we passed by a few vagrants sleeping in front of the Regis House Community Center . Nonetheless, the entrance had a bouncer check ID before entering, 21+ years only
The foyer is a warehouse with a couple lofts. Tickets were scanned and wrist bands are given to people who plan to drink alcohol. Decorations were varied from multiple unknown sources. In the center of the foyer was a booth selling merchandise from the featured musicians. After passing a smaller room that contained 2 of the restrooms, you enter the lounge or bar area that has the last indoor restroom (located next to the bar). Cocktail tables lined the edges of the room, and an unused mini-stage was across the restroom. This bar area could easily turn into a live music lounge for a small act.
We entered the main auditorium and passed by bleacher-style seats before spilling into a wide space filled with plastic chairs. The set up reminded me of a large wedding preceding. Premium ticket holders sat on the floor seats while the general admission sat at the concert/bleacher seating. We sat on the second row of the bleachers. The concert stage was also on a platform that raised the musicians about 1 foot off the ground. Speaker hung above the stage and the sound was sufficiently loud. Some sounds were piercing like a crack on the guitar body or high-pitched pinging, but overall venue allowed a memorable concert experience. I would describe the venue as small to medium sized because you can see the act without the assistance of screens.

This has been a great venue to see my favorite podcaster. Intimate seating with respect to the stage, several separate rooms, and a general low-key atmosphere makes it a pleasant space. It's been a surprisingly good venue to avoid sensory overload.

One of my favorite venues for music in this town. Has a wonderful relaxed atmosphere which is very unique compared to the push & pull of many music venues in this town. Here you can relax and just enjoy the live music in your own time. Highly recommended if your sick of standing in line over at the Roxy, Troubadour, Whisky A Go-Go.

Here to see Bianca Del Rio's comedy show! Venue is huge! Photos of past famous performers grace the entrance way and walls. They stamp you with an over 21 mark and there's a bar on every floor. I booked my ticket last minute and literally am in the back of the balcony yet I still have a great view! There's so much space in here from the aisles to the ceiling. And the seats are incredibly comfortable. You'll enjoy your show here for sure if not just for the ambience.

I've only visited the place once before but it's another of L.A.s small clubs for indie bands of all kinds. If I remember correctly, there's both an upstairs and downstairs stage but I've only visited one so I may be mistaken. I suppose the band playing the night you are there will influence your opinion of the place. In any event, if the band is popular or if it's near the weekend expect a line at some point.
The Flamenco Artists were superb!!!
The Flamenco Artists were superb!!!
They had a better stage to work on since the first time. Full house! Good sign! They have to make sure their ticket staff knows what they're doing. The young lady last nite didn't have a clue! She couldn't make my credit card submission of $80.00 work on her cell phone thingie! She kept asking me for cash. Thank God my assistant found an ATM near by. It was very embarrassing to me. I'm a well known Flamenco dancer! I will have to think twice before attending a performance there again. Also, we noticed extremely trash filled areas very close to the theater. The Cityof Los Angeles and President Trump should do something about that. The smell coming from the piles if old trash was really bad!
Thank God the Flamenco Artists were awsome!!!
