Very helpful with almost every problem we have had.

Central Bank regularly changes my overdraft protection amounts, often times without notifying me or I'm notified too late & without reason. Please be more prompt about contacting your customers about account changes, you have our phone numbers; a courtesy text or call would be helpful. As well, when I call in with questions I'm unable to get through to talk to a clerk because the calls get disconnected each time(this is after I've waited on the line for minutes at a time).

I love my bank. Never had a serious issue, and all the employees are super helpful.

They have given me the run around 5 times for a loan. Unneccessary. I think the staff is nice enough, but I can't believe how condescending they get when asking questions or going through with things.
When I was preapproved for a loan, i went to buy a place, they then changed their minds on the qualifications afterward. And I had to forfeit the deal. 6 months of time for them to tell me otherwise. I was also told qualifications for the mortgage, prior to, which also conveniently changed over time. Edging on fraud. Generally speaking they're the worst bank I've had other than Bank of America. Thats pretty hard to do, but well, congrats. Guess ill go try one of the other generic green banks in COMO.

I had the absolute best experience with Robyn Nall "Consumer Banking Representative" at the Broadway location on June 24. She is professional, thoughtful, engaging, helpful, and made opening a business account a pleasant experience. It was something that I was not looking forward to in part because of the time it takes. She took care of several things in advance of our meeting so it was snap.

Best bank in town. Bill Costello, Deb Harmon, Ed Scavone are all wonderful folks to work with... I could name more.. Holly, Dorothy, etc. I've never had a major issue with service and as soon as I do (usually with an account or my debit card) they are quick to respond and fix.

Always helpful, I use a sister bank out of Moberly and all the Central Banks in Columbia act like I am their customer and always help me and make me feel welcome. Highly recommend. Have had this bank for over 10 years.

Possible worst bank ever charging 70 dollars in fees over .78 cents!
Back dating overdrafts to include every purchase not the one that actually over drafts! This is stealing!

I informed them of fraudulent charges to my account well in advance because I suspected the account had been compromised. They did norhing with the information resulting in a negative balance of 500 dollars. When I was in a stable enough financial position to fix the issue i returned and management refused every attempt I made to find an agreeable situation. I offered a payment plan. I offered taking partial responsibility for the defaults and no matter what they refused to be helpful.

An auto dealership financed my loan for a used car through this bank, upon moving from Columbia I refinanced my loan at a new local branch. This bank refused to send the title to my new bank and has caused a whole mess of problems including a default on my loan.

Most of the staff I've encountered have been friendly and helpful. Online banking is easy and efficient.
Beyond that, when you get into needing assistance with mortgages etc, their care and level of service has been terrible. They have not met my expectations which have been fueled by all the advertisements and promotions that claim they care. Customer service, follow through, and a genuine sense that they care have been sadly lacking.

Love the people; hate the onhold obnoxious music. It's torturous and takes tanacity to wait for these great people to answer.

I've been dealing with CBBC since they were Boone County National Bank and besides a couple of snags with some less than professional employees, I've been extremely impressed with their service. I moved back to KC recently for health issues but kept my accounts with them and I'm glad I did. Blake in customer service is always on top of things and a master at his job.

If you set up an account here, you want to work with Michael Salanski. He is extremely knowledgeable and will consistently go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied, no matter what tier of client you are.

Been a customer for 20 years. Poor customer service. Lack in updated banking information.

I had to amend my original review. The service is ok, but don't trust them to actually take care of you when a mistake is made. I took a situation all the way up to a branch manager, and, while they and the regular customer service people I dealt with were nice enough, none of them could fix something that was their mistake but somehow not their fault. I feel that, ultimately, in the grand scheme of things, this bank has become more of a place that can only think of you or treat you as an account number and not a human being. I miss the old days, but I guess the bank president or board of directors really needs a bigger vacation home or a nicer boat. C'est la vie. Guess I'll do the bulk of my banking elsewhere.

Never had such A unprofessional bank in 40 years of banking I am closing my accounts with this bank they are the most unprofessional people I ve ever dealt with!!!!

Until today I have nothing but good things to say about the bank. I tried to use my card for my appointment at a nail salon and it kept declining my card. It's not a money problem. So I called the bank. Staff were polite and wanted to help me. But the card wouldn't go through even after I called them twice. I was standing in the line like a fool for an hour although I had ample balance on my card. There was nothing I could do. I asked the bank what really happened and why my account was shut down. They gave me ridiculous reasons like "We can't get hold of you months ago so we shut down the account." First, I have been using my card all these months and never had a problem until just now so I have no idea whatsoever my account was "shut down". Second, the bank never reached out to me. I had my voicemail set up and I never received any message or call from the bank. The customer service said my account was shut down because they couldn't verify my address. Verify my address?? Have you heard of a reason more ridiculous than that? You don't shut down people's account just because you couldn't get hold of them. Plus you never made an effort to reach out to me. Just because I opened an account with you and put money in it, I should be waiting around my phone all day long for your call???? No way. I am closing my account with this bank.

I have absolutely loved using Central Bank of Boone County since switching from my previous bank of almost 10 years. Their friendliness and great customer service really set them apart from other banks. They also have a location in Ashland which is great! Highly recommend.

ATM maintenance, off Clark Lane should be done by Bank closing of Drive through hours at least by 6pm. The guy said he d be done in 20 min. and I d just missed Bank close and was there at 6pm. So I had to drive cross town to get my transaction. He yelled as if he wasinconvienced.

Robyn N., at the Downtown location, is always so nice! She has been very helpful on numerous occasions and she always has a smile that makes me feel welcome! She makes banking much more pleasant!!!

17 year customer- It's been good. Special shout out to Robyn N for her assistance to resolve issues that arose while Security was doing its' job. Very fast and professional.

Went into the downtown branch with a friend to refer a friend , the bank associate was so rude to me when I would tell my friend my experiences with each account type. Belittling and derogatory on two different occasions. Robyn Nall.

Just opened an account with Central Bank, the types of accounts look great and the Dashboard feature is awesome. I went over my time and the bank was closing, but the teller, Sam, didn't seem to mind at all and I was helped to the end. A great bank and great service to go with it.
