Nice decor and atmosphere. Service was ok. We had cocktails and beers to start. Good selection of tasty beers - it's really hard to go wrong with that. Cocktails weren t as good but were as pricey as ever. The Old Fashioned was watery and just didn t get close to acceptable. We had the Building Blocks and a salad to start, both were wonderful - we highly recommend the building blocks if you like crispy pork belly. For main course some of our party had BBQ and others had burgers. Most of the sides were excellent - the baked beans were the best we d ever tasted (and I m British so that is saying something). The slaw was equally good - lots of dill which gave it a great fresh taste. The fries were a little soggy. Beef ribs were enormous and very tasty. As for the smoked pork ribs - well, we wouldn t order those again. Nor would we order the sausage again - very average. Burgers were ok, but nothing special - there are better options for burgers in the valley in our opinion. Many people have highlighted the fried mac and cheese in their reviews so we ordered it. The little bites definitely had a unique novelty factor and they tasted alright but we would not write home about them or order them again... Overall the Boneyard Bistro felt a little hit-and-miss. We will return for what we liked, and for the atmosphere, but this is primarily because we live less than 1 mile away and options for great food round these 'ere parts are limited. Hope this is helpful to you!
