Very comfortable waiting area. The staff was very comforting to my very nervous child.

Sancha (surgical dental assistant) was very attentive and caring during the entire tooth extraction. She helped keep you calm and explained what to expect with the procedure. Dr. James Kraus was professional and prepared you for the procedure with explanations in terms you understood. The whole process was quick and professional. The office is clean and efficient. Highly recommend Dr. James Kraus and Sancha. Visited the office at the beginning of October 2020. Would go back if ever the need.

Very friendly, yet still professional. And kids, if you like super heros, you will LOVE this office. I've never seen one like it. Wonderful experience! Had a tooth extracted and the only thing I felt was the novicane, and even my gums were numbed before I was given any. Parents and children will find this a great place if you need oral surgery. I was given options, chose what I wanted and no problem of any type was experienced!

I saw Dr. Kraus and he is an amazing surgeon, really good experience, his assistant Tyler was awesome and very professional. Everything was explained to me clearly and I would definitely recommend this practice.

Two weeks ago I had gum surgery with Dr Blaeser. The experience was extremely professional and fairly painless. The office and all staff were totally Covid- prepared. Staff were effiecient, direct and willing to take the time to answer questions as needed. My follow up is next week. However, the stitches have desolved, I had little pain (no need for narcotics), little bruising and after 2 days was able to eat comfortably. This practice did a great job; i would highly recommend them.

Staff was very patient and kind with my daughter. She was very nervous and they were great with her.

Last year, Dr. Kraus had to remove an implant that failed because it was placed by another local dentist before the bone was ready to receive it. I told him I was extremely nervous because I had a terrible experience with that dentist because he hurt me and was not caring at all. I went under sedation and he removed the implant and placed new bone which has grown. The office staff was pleasant, helpful and informative. I knew going into the procedure the prices, no surprises. The consult fee was taken off the top of the procedure price.
Dr. Krauss is professional as well as kind. I would recommend to him anyone who was looking for the best care possible. I am so happy he is on my team.
He is removing two teeth for me this week and I will be back to write another review. Stay tuned.

Dr. Krauss is fabulous and so are his staff. They are caring and go above and beyond to make you comfortable. I suffer from severe TMJ and need Botox to my jaw. The other day I was in so much pain and my appointment wasn't for another 6 days. They made an exception and squeezed me in that day. I can't thank them enough.

An amazing place from the moment you walk in you feel welcome. Dr. Kraus and his team are wonderful and down to Earth people who made me (a nervous wreck) feel so comfortable and as calm as possible for my wisdom teeth surgery, this was my first ever surgery and everyone in the room was very understanding about my nerves and kept talking to me keep my mind occupied. The anesthesiologist took the time to try to find a good vein on me since I am a very hard person to stick and also a person who does not like needles. Everyone answered any question I had and made sure I understood their answers. I can't thank them enough for their great work!!!

I can not say enough about my whole experience. I dislike anything that has to do with the mouth! My case is uncommon. The staff Dr Kraus . Even the Anesthesia nurse was a comfort. I would absolutely go back again!

Terrible experience with this clinic and I would not recommend to anyone. Had an emergency extraction on a Friday and was told not to worry, that someone is on call all weekend. I had severe pain and ran out of pain pills so, as directed in my discharge instructions, I called the covering MD. He was rude and told me it was against the law for him to prescribe anything for me (entirely not true). It was truly negligent to leave me suffering because the covering MD was too lazy to write me a prescription. My cat had a tooth extraction and he got three days of pain pills- the vet gives better care then this place.

Well run, professional organization. Most comfortable waiting room chairs I have ever been in, themed offices with excellent staffing. Appointment hours were honored - no wait.
I had deep sedation anesthesia for oral surgery. It was painless and successful. That evening Dr. Blaeser personally called me at home to see how I was doing. I was impressed. I highly recommend this practice.

Had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled with two on the bottom impacted. They put my to sleep and woke up with no pain and was only a little out of it. Through the recovery my pain never got past a 1 (on a 1-10 scale). They did an amazing job and I can t thank them enough!!

Wisdom teeth extraction went extremely well with these guys, no problems at all, the head dentist was very nice and was very easy going, all the assistants were really genuine and they know what they're doing. Thanks for a great experience.

My teen-aged son had to have four wisdom teeth extracted. We went to NBOFS on the recommendation of a friend, and we're so glad we did! Dr. Kraus is a talented surgeon, his staff is attentive and reassuring, the facility is brand-new and immaculate, and our experience was excellent. My son had no problems at all recovering from the extractions. I highly recommend this practice!

This place is absolutely amazing! Everything from the safety I felt walking in the door with my scared little boy who needed emergency oral surgery (age 4), to the most amazing, kindest and friendliest staff who made us feel confident and secure that we were in the best of hands! Surgery went amazingly smoothly and quickly and we felt completely confident leaving, with the nicest and most thorough staff who made sure we had all our questions answered, and had a whole bag of just in case items for my little boy who had just come out from anesthesia. I 100% would recommend this practice to anyone in need of such services! They were amazing from start to finish!

I've used them a couple of times and each time I was impressed by how professional they were, but more importantly, how they talked to me a lot, telling me what they were doing at each stage of my procedures. Great communication! I've used Dr. Kraus a couple of times and he's darn good.

Called for a emergency appt. Ended up having to call and cancel only spoke with answering service to cancel due to the office not being available at the time! So called back the following day to reschedule, but the very rude very ignorant receptionist tried to tell me because I never called that I was not welcome to come to their office I then very nicely tried to explain how I called n was only able to get in touch with the answering service and she very rudely told flat out no you did not!! I then tried to explain to her how I have called this office on 3 seperate occasions trying to make a appt and left messages with the answering service and that no one has ever returned my calls when I leave a message with their answering service!! I also then told her maybe she might want to check with her service and try to not be so rude to patients!! I then called Newburyport Oral Surgery where the receptionist is a very professional , very sweet lady!! Who put me in today to be seen as well as apologized for the receptionist at Boston North's being very unprofessional!! I can not believe that she is even allowed to be your first impression of Boston North when you are to contact them. Especially considering my first time calling when I spoke with her she acted like I was inconveniencing her by calling for a appt in the first place!! Very disappointed!!

Despite a one day postponement for an unrelated medical situation Dr. Kraus and his staff hit the ground running and ended my pain in short order.The extraction went-off in textbook fashion and there was scant blood or swelling and in fact I barely used the ice,heat,hydrogel(once), pain pills(2,once by accident).
That was all yesterday, extraction day. Today I take the remaining(2) pills in accordance with instructions, rinse with salt water 4 times and continuing for a week)....end of story.BRAVO N.B.O.F.S.

Considering I had to have an extraction, the experience could not have been better. Dr. Blaeser was great. Jamie and the nursing staff could not have been kinder or more professional. Would highly recommend them.

I can t say enough great things about this office! All the staff all the way from the front desk, dental assistants and Doctors were incredibly helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The office was clean and comfortable. I definitely felt confident in their hands and would 100% recommend them.

Rescheduled my appointment for extraction oover thanksgiving break without telling me it was rescheduled which caused me to be very sick for 2 weeks while I struggled to find another dentist to perform my procedure. Very unprofessional and caused me a great deal of problems. Bart Blaeser was the surgeon who essentially canceled my appointment with no warning. They dont even deserve the 1 star

I had an absolute amazing experience with this place staff and all! I am so scared of the dentist and they made me feel very comfortable. Dr Karus is the best I wish he did fillings ect because he made me feel comfortable. I had to wait for the insurance to decide what they were going to cover for a tooth I needed pulled it did take a week but it was ok. I had to be put under . The team of people that worked with me were very professional and caring. I had pain for about a day and a half after. No swelling no bruising no stitches .I was very pleased and if I need any work in the future or know anyone that needs a place to go I will send them here for sure! P.s. I love your office!!!!!!! I am pretty sure I told him that while under the influence of laughing gas . Lol

I would recommend the services of North Boston Oral & Facial Surgery to anybody. Getting wisdom teeth removed is inherently a brutal process, but the professional and friendly staff did everything possible to ensure that the surgery + follow up went smoothly and comfortably. I had a great experience.

Doctor Blaeser and his wonderful staff from the girls out front to the nurses working to make me feel very comfortable! I m in awe at how wonderful the people were there! I give them 5 s!

My dentist recommended I come here for a wisdom tooth extraction, and I m so glad I did. I was in such pain for days and they took me at the last minute so I didn t have to suffer more. I can t tell you how thankful I am. Dr. Kraus and Sandra were both professionals, super calm, caring and reassuring. I m a wimp when it comes to this stuff, and I couldn t have been more relaxed. Dr. Kraus had my tooth out in less than a minute. (After getting numbed up!)

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

The worst customer service I have dealt with in my life.. receptionist was absolutely rude over the phone after the 5th attempt to talk to someone at this place. And it ended with her yelling, and hanging up on a customer. And this is all because she could not explain or justify a $250 bill for the dentist to literally look into my mouth for 10 seconds. And this is what they considered an oral exam.. and included in this you are supposed to have a dental plan, and evaluation of your mouth...... I have yet to receive any of this... But still forced to pay for the services I NEVER RECEIVED.

Both of my children had their wisdom teeth out on the same day, one of them had a much more invasive surgery in that his teeth needed to be surgically extracted. Unfortunately they did not do a good job of explaining the difference, one child was talking, drinking within an hour of the surgery and the other could not talk, or eat, or swallow or take pain medication and continued to bleed. It was frightening and I wish they had explained the difference without me having to call.

We met Dr. Kraus and his colleagues several years ago when he performed an Emergency Facial Reconstruction Surgery on my son after he was kicked in the face by a horse. They were all incredible then!! I went to the office yesterday to have a broken tooth extracted. Dr. Kraus and his assistant Jamie were again Top Shelf and the experience was comfortable and pain free. I can't recommend their practice strongly enough. They are all great people that are knowledgeable, caring, and extremely skilled at what they do.

I absolutely love this place I got my four wisdom teeth extracted and the staff was completely amazing especially Jamie D she confronted me and help me calm down the staff here is super friendly I love it!! Felt very comfortable with staff and Dr. Krauss. The office decor was awesome. I had a tooth removed and between the Marvel/DC collection, the 80's piped in through the speakers and the Nitrous, I was fine.

Dr.Kraus offered to extract my molar immediately after the consultation. This relieved me of the discomfort and anxiety of waiting for several more days. The procedure was painless and healed quickly. The dental assistants were kind, informative, and efficient. Thank you!

Dr Krause and team were fantastic, but billing is extremely shady. While my son was under sedation they told us the bill and asked for payment at that moment, and told us the sedation wasn t covered. Paid the full amount, even though we thought this was weird because was covered in the past, so we stopped payment on our check. Called our insurance company early the next week, who said they are processing payment, and that sedation was covered in our plan. Not sure if it was never run until we stopped payment, or if the office knew that they would make $200 more dollars out of us vs. insurance. When called billing to discuss, we were told billing dept. doesn t take phone calls, there was no manage available, and that the front office would email billing to contact us.....

I brought my daughter here to have 2 baby teeth extracted. The establishment is very clean and everyone was pleasant. In my opinion Dr. Kraus could have been friendlier, especially to a 12 year old girl who was nervous. However, her anesthesiologists was absolutely amazing. He answered all of her questions, made her feel comfortable and told her jokes while she was being put to sleep.

Being treated at this office has been an absolute pleasure ! The entire staff is totally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable . Even with the Covid19 precautions, I was made to feel comfortable and informed at all times when checking in for appt. Dr. Kraus is amazing. He took care of a 5-year problem tooth for me after my regular dentist failed me. Extraction was simple and painless with local anesthesia only. I highly recommend this Business. Kudos to all their employees. Be safe please.

Just had my first photofacial with Dr Kraus. He was professional and did a fantastic job. The results after just the first treatment are better than I could have hoped. I highly recommend him!
