Great local spot for beer and wine. Friendly staff that loves their craft. Always getting new things in stock, and they have a fantastic selection. Don't let the small size fool you. Stop by on the 3rd Friday of the month for wine tasting, and the last Friday beer tasting and education.

Bon Vivant has a nice selection of unique, boutique style wines not readily available anywhere else in the area. Mike and his staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. This is a must stop and shop for wine Lovers!

Stopped in for the Smithfield restuarant week wine tasting. As always an educational experience. An as usual left with several bottles of wine and beer!
Little Building, BIG selection. We almost missed the little brick building slightly set back from the road. The beer room was small, but full of variety. We loved all the additional Knick knacks (glasses, napkins, wine purses, jarred goodies). We had fun picking a range of new beers to try. Hopefully they get the beer and wine tasting night going again! We will be back! Cheers
I've lived here for 11 years and drive past this place every day, always saying I should stop sometime, well today I did and I wasn't disappointed. Such a great selection of beer. I can't wait to get tasting on the 12 I purchased. Will visit again soon.

Small shop but a very good selection of international and local wines and also very good offer of local brewed beers.

Local wine shops are the best and this one is exceptional! I have know the owner for years and the customer care, wine selections and quality are unrivaled. If in the 757 or visiting Smithfield, it is worth the time and travel to visit Bon Vivant.

He manages to pack a huge diversity of beer into the tiniest of venues, and he knows them all. Oh and he's got a good wine selection, too. If that's more your thing.

Bon Vivant Wine & Brew Shop is a Hidden Gem in Smithfield Virginia. You have to come by and talk to proprietor Mike Adams who will be all too happy to take you through his shop and tell you about every single product that he has. Most definitely recommend you make this your primary stop when you come into this town.
