Hooty-hoot! As a disabled man with radioactive blood, Bohemian Grove has provided me with excellent support to stay strong, bud. We had an amazing time discussing whether or not state-level nullification of Federal Commerce Clause legislation constituted an act of secession. Then we discussed how nullification revoked the rights of individual voters to equal federal representation. A+, will visit again once I finish raising support for owl conservation. Great place to relax, enjoy old friendships, make new ones, and hear stories of times past. Very traditional and private so a nice place to slip away from the everyday & just be yourself w/ good folks.

10/10 watched silly people worshiping owl. Lol 10/10 would watch again.

People think way to much. It must be out of this world to think that those in power or famous etc. Needed an escape from their daily stress, jobs, public....family lol. That a small rural place quickly became popular. Where you could light one up, or shotgun a beer without a shirt then take a leak off the side of the porch. Relive those younger days at house/college parties. No paranoia of whos hiding with a camera. But honestly the public would believe that. Especially if those pics got out. Start up a conspiracy about themselves and let the crazies do the rest... Just remember when your protesting out front, SATURDAYS ARE FOR THE BOYS!

Is the spending of billions on weapons, which are by consensus no longer needed, really the will of the people? Or is it the will of General Electric, General Dynamics, and the other weapons contractors represented at the Grove?

This is where Swedish masked heavy metal band "Ghost" [a.k.a. "Ghost BC"]... winner of 1 USA Grammy, as well as several Swedish ones, for their 3rd [and IMHO best] album "Meliora" ... lead by singer/songwriter Tobias Forge, also known as "Papa Emeritus" 1, 2, 3 and his latest incarnation named "Cardinal Copia"... along with rest of the band members called "Nameless Ghouls"... record their albums, perform soundchecks, and prepare their fake-satanic gigs prior to each USA tour.

"Ghost" have opened for Iron Maiden, headlined Wacken 2018, been featured on the "Late Show With Stephen Colbert" and in general created some pretty great music, but mostly on their first 3 albums, prior to the court shitshow which resulted in replacement of the best "Nameless Ghouls" musicians the band ever had (story for another day). Several offshoot bands formed or re-formed after that, such as "MCC" ("Magna Carta Cartel"), "Priest", etc. Google it for yourself and you just might find some excellent music! Not as great as "Blind Guardian" (if you're into melodic heavy metal, but never heard of them, you're seriously missing out big time. "Bard's Song" & "Valhalla" [live versions] might just blow your mind).

Anywhoo... "Ghost" current USA tour dubbed "A Pale Tour Named Death" is in progress, coming to Sacramento & San Jose in mid-November 2018. Highly recommended for the whole theatrical experience alongside music, but it's best to first check them out on YouTube and see their earlier works, such as "Cirice" video for which they got the USA Grammy, or any other song from "Meliora". That is if you like melodic/satanic (but not really) metal/hard rock which smacks of "Blue Oyster Cult" and the likes of the 80's/90's retro sound in general. You might discover some gems, depending on your music taste. \m/

The security was rude, & wouldnt let us stay. Why is even listed as a camp ground?

I go every July it's fun.... Hotels are beautiful and great view of the outdoors.... Live plays and museum tours.....

It was not everything it was hyped up to be. People who go there are too set in their ways. Not open to new ideas. The owl is outdated and needs to be refurbished and it's "voice" not very entertaining. Food was just ok but the chili dogs were pretty good. Just made everyone get gas though. Hopefully they get better catering next time. All the pyrotechnics are also pretty lame. Oh well.

I live down the street from here and have no desire to disrupt someone's gathering. Who knows what goes on and really, who cares. These fellas are just blowing off steam and celebrating tradition. Don't be mad because you never get invited. This area is beautiful and is a great retreat for anyone....glad most of you never leave your hillbilly homesteads and infiltrate the area.

What a great place. But watch out for the fruit punch, i had the craziest dream after i drank it. I probably shouldnt talk about it. Ok you know i am...i dreamt these guys in robes were standing all around me chanting while i was tied naked to a table with a big ol Texas star on it. Then a chick with nice breasts and a penis had me sign something in red ink. She said i would be rich and famous or something but i didnt understand it all because she was wearing a goat-head mask.
