I had never heard of Bohemian Caverns, but I went there with a friend recently, and it was amazing. We were early, so we waited upstairs for the doors to open. Our server was super friendly and engaging. They have comfy chairs and big TVs, More

Great under the radar place to watch live music acts (focused on variations of jazz, blues, etc). They offer the standard drink options along with serving up a full dinner menu.
I LOVE this place!! My girlfriend and I just moved to DC recently and visit this place almost regularly when we're not working of course!! The food is AWESOME though I don't really care for the lobster mac and cheese but to each their own. I'd certainly recommend the jerk wings and as a french fry connoisseur, their fries are not too shabby and make for the perfect munching accompaniment to their happy hour. Moreover, we've tried quite a few of their dishes and we plan to try their brunch one Sunday. Even further, they have an AWESOME happy hour with drinks equally as strong as they are pretty to look at, my favorite is the Ginger Sunrise martini.
The space is great for listening. The music was wonderful. The crowd wanted to listen. So what's wrong? The food. It took more than an hour to arrive and arrived cold and inedible. I cannot remember the last time I had worse food or service, especially at these prices. Go for the music and a drink. SKIP the food.
Slowest service in DC. Out of everything I wanted. Food wasn't very good either. No reason to ever go back other than the music, which we did not stay for.
Atmosphere was intimate and cozy. The upstairs greeter was amazing and can take a nice picture. Very courteous and accommodating. Amber the server was prompt and the food was hot and delicious.
I went on a Thursday night and it was pretty dead. I expected there to be some live music, but the place was almost empty. It sort of felt like a hotel conference room with Bohemian furniture. The drinks were just okay, but the happy hour made it worthwhile.
Went here for my anniversary... loved the atmosphere, food was good, drinks were tasty... music was hitting...I took off 1 star for parking -- but, otherwise, the place was awesome!
