The only place to go when in L.A! Mike G is the best!

Body Electric Tattoo & Piercing is by far the best shop in LA...and possibly the world. The shop is safe, clean, and has a stylish environment. The employees are honest, patient, talented and entertaining. The owner, Brian Keith Thompson, is very professional and passionate about his Business, Artists, and Customers! He goes out of his way to make sure people feel satisfied with the service they have received, and if you are not happy, he will do his best to find a probable solution. I have received two tattoos (Joe Savva is my favorite tattoo Artist) and a bellybutton piercing from this shop.

i will only go to Body Electric and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!

What can I say? Mez and Co. are majorly talented and service oriented. I got my first and only tattoo while visiting SF for work. Mez worked her mojo and created yet another amazing piece of art. I'm thrilled with the work she did and really enjoyed the experience. T

I love my 3 new ear piercings from Brian. He was very gentle and fast, I barely felt anything. Going back for more!

Went all the way from SF to get my ear pierced given all the great things I had heard. It didn't disappoint, service was great, they were patient helping me decide which piercings I wanted to get, explained everything to perfection and it didn't hurt.

Incredibly clean and accommodating tattoo parlor. I was a walk-in and they helped me really quickly, getting me set up and touching up my art. The tattoo looks great and they were really good with aftercare. Would definitely recommend!

Brian got back to me quick by email when I had a question and Steph did a great job on my piercing!

The shop minimum is $100, which is pretty steep. The whole vibe of the place was unwelcoming. My tattoo ended up badly done. The artist was standoffish, and I felt uncomfortable the whole time. He did a terrible job at shading on my tattoo. Do not recommend.

Love this place! Very clean and staff is super friendly. They care about what you want and make sure you have quality work. They have continuous knowledge of what they do I have gotten both of my tattoos done here!

Came here on a whim and was not disappointed! I had seen this place come across my path a couple of times, but decided to get another identical piercing to one I already had today. Dom did a kickass job at helping me decide the placement and was a pro when it came time to face the needle. No scummy sales people trying to force things on you. Not sketchy or shady like places I ve been to in the past. Great atmosphere! Highly recommend this shop, and I ll definitely be back for a tattoo!

I've been coming here since I was 13 and I've gotten nose and two sets of ear piercings done here. Always thorough, safe, and friendly.

I did some research, then dropped into Body Electric Tattoo & Piercing for my first piercing ever (a prince albert) at the recommendation of a friend. I couldn't be more pleased.

Christopher explained everything really well and the whole process took about half an hour from when I walked in the door to when I was on my way out.

Can t imagine going somewhere else in LA after coming here. Jacob took an idea I d been working on for 2 years and turned into a design that was better than anything I d imagined, then proceeded to tattoo it perfectly. Was super supportive and gave clean lines that have aged well. Highly recommend both the studio and Jacob. Slightly pricey but you get what you pay for and then some.

Brian Keith Thompson and his staff are absolutely incredible. The atmosphere in the actual studio is both professional and friendly. The jewelry provided is both high quality and beautiful and the actual piercing experience was quick and pleasant due to BKT s skill. My mother and 3 year old we aslo super comfortable and welcomed in the studio. I absolutely plan on going back and if my girl s ears weren t already pierced this is where I would bring them no question. This is the place to be if you are looking for they best all around piercing experience.

This shop had great customer service and the tattoo artist I worked with was talented, kind, and quick. I was able to bring a design of my own and the pricing was affordable. The atmosphere inside is pleasant as well.

Came to this tattoo shop cause of friend recommend, had my tattoo done , looks awesome , artist is very friendly , will go all out to get your perfect piece of art!

Visited the shop twice in last 4 months to find a BVLA nose ring. Once it was a Saturday early afternoon, fairly busy, and front desk service was dismissive. It felt like they were understaffed and stressed. I didn't buy anything that time because it didn't feel right and I didn't feel strongly attached to any jewelry. All things considered, the space was spotless, the piercers and tattoo artists were friendly and authentic, the jewelry collection was wide ranging and beautiful, and it is conveniently placed. So I visited for the 2nd time this past weekend (Jan 2019). Slamming but front desk staff was ON POINT. Immediate greeting, following up and giving a wait time estimate, attentive to your inquiries and preferences, and knowledgeable. It was meant to be because I met the owner, Brian, who knew exactly what to give me based on my limited ideas and took me back immediately to swap my nose stud for the hoop. He was professional, funny, dry, and smooth AF. He's literally Dapper Dan (sick suited LEWK). Piece was reasonable for a rose gold BLVA hoop ($65). I will buy my jewelry from them and if I want another piercing, or God help my God-fearing parents - a tattoo! - I know where to go. 10/10 recommend if you want precision, cleanliness, and a healthy dose of sarcasm.

Maggie enhanced 3 flowers on the beautiful tattoo she did for me last month. Some people say my tattoo looks like water color; other people say it looks like stained glass. It is luminous. Exquisite.

Body Electric is a great place to go to get your tats. I've has several small pieces done by them and they all look great. The store is clean and the staff is very professional. AA

I love coming to Body Electric Tattoo and Piercing Studio because it is the cleanest and dopest studios I ve ever been. I only get my tattoos and piercings done here. The team is very professional and I always feel welcomed when I come in. This place is like a temple and I can tell the staff loves what they do. I fell in LOVE with this studio as soon as I walked in couple years ago and I have never left. I highly recommend this place for first timers or veterans like myself when it comes to piercings and tattoos!

Couldn't set my appoinment due to COVID standards, but I do appreciate the prompt and professional email response from Brian. So for that, I will give my 5 star review.

I did my (under)lip-piercing in there.
First what you see on the outside an "A" what means very good. Then you come inside.
The people in there are so nice, humorous and totally cool. The piercer: very very cool dude. He calms you down and does his job really good (how he should).
I recommend this studio everyone who want a tattoo or a piercing in LA, even if you're only on vacation.
