We met with owners over the wine dinner in London at Lurra, enjoyed the evening & wines but can not come to terms with the way they behaved especially Jose Luis Ripa.
We wanted to place large order for our wine cellar in London as well as Mallorca, Luis left his business card and asked for contact.
To date we sent 3 emails not single response!? Not sure what that means?
Bad manners or arrogance, not impressed, I would expect more....
Very disappointed, your wines are good but there are plenty fish in the sea!!

The special charm of this winery lies in making its traditional family method of making wine last. It is a very romantic view of maintaining tradition

We were taking a target in the spectacular bar of Villa Tondonia, and what was our surprise that the wine was not at the desired temperature. We asked for a bucket, and they told us that they did not have, that if we wanted some ice to throw the wine, a wine of 22 euros a bottle.

Spectacular winery in Haro, focused on the ancient production of wine by hand. Elena was a great guide and host who explained to us in an excellent way how the wine of a lifetime is made. I hope it never gets lost

Great experience !! He had been in other wineries but nothing to do with Tondonia, the best without a doubt. And the visit was made very short thanks to Cristina, who was very kind and explained the whole history and structure of the winery, a 10!

One of the most established and important wineries to visit in Haro. They are clearly set up for wine tourism. They offer lots of sitting areas if you want to only try the wine without an appointment. However the visit is very recommended. You visit all the different parts of the winery, including the workshop, where they make their own barrels. Visit is pricey but includes a bottle of their signature wine.

We will be back!! Very nice visit, interesting and very very well led by Helena.

They are one of the oldest wineries in Haro and one of the first in all of La Rioja. The winemaking is the most traditional that can be found, for 120 years, the care of the vineyard until the long aging in oak barrels and aging in the bottle.

I loved it. The staff is lovely they helped us a lot with the issue of sending the wine home, since we could not take it with us and the visit is very well explained. Awesome wineries highly recommended

They offer a visit at a cost but then somehow recover by obtaining some of their wonderful wines.
It is wonderful to be able to know the process to make the wine, the guided tour very well and at the end a tasting that encourages you much more to take their products home.

Great wine and very nice offer for wine tastings, the terrasse invites to stay for a while and the service was very friendly and explained everything very well. All in all good tasting option. The tastings we tried only offered red wines, no white or rose wines.

Into the historical experience, all the traditions and persistence are in the bottle, respect you!

I loved this winery for its tradition and old cellars that many wineries do not have the cemetery is spectacular good in all precious all of it and not to mention the wines that are excess.

Without a doubt I think it is a must see in the town of Haro, it is the most traditional winery in the area. The visit does not leave you indifferent, I recommend it to 100%

It has been 13 years since we visited and I promised to return and I will do so.

This winery has a really nice setting. A very stylish, modern tasting room and a very nice area to sit outside, with a very relaxing feel to it.

Since we were travelling with our Bulldog we took a seat outside and got some wine (with free nibbles).
The wine was fine, got the typical Rioja flavour. But - compared to some other Bodegas we've visited - lacked a special something. Did not wow us enough. Prise-wise their wines are a good deal, but then there's so much competition around here. And considering that we just found the wine too average and quite light on the palate without any long-lasting flavours.

But the setting is really nice, staff helpful and friendly. Still a fine Bodega to take a seat outside and enjoy a glass or two.

In my opinion the best wineries in La Rioja. Too bad it has become so difficult to get a place to look. However, the shop and tasting is quite expensive. I recommend visiting but not going to the store.

We happened to be in Logrono over our anniversary, and what a wonderful way to spend the day. This is the oldest winery in Spain, so they take a lot of pride in how they process the grapes and keep to the highest standards. There is a 25 euro charge per person for the tour, but it includes their best bottle of wine, a tasting of their wines, and some cured meats. After the tour, we decided to purchase a bottle of wine to enjoy on their patio alongside a platter of meat and cheese. We had inquired about purchasing the meat and cheese platter, but they treated us to it. It was wonderful to sit out in their chairs (repurposed wine barrels) with the warm sun and delicious wine. Simply magical.

The winery, the visit and the traditional methods with which they still produce the wine are spectacular.

Most picturesque and charming bodega in Rioja. The wines are something unique and truly stunning.
Tour guides are lovely and they even took us for a quick visit when we arrived without a booking and outside opening hours!! Unmissable!

Para mi esta bodega simboliza lo que debe ser la excelencia en bodegas.
Una mezcla perfecta de tradicion y modernidad que hacen que cada visita sea magnifica.

Posteriormente pasamos a la sala del botero donde se reparan y se fabrican las barricas de modo artesano.

Finalmente llega la hora de la cata en la cual dan a probar 2 grandes vinos en los cuales te describen perfectamente sus propiedades y caracteristicas.

Es sin duda la mejor visita de una bodega que hice en la Rioja. Muy muy muy recomendable.

This was a slight disappointment fir me and other attending the same tour I met later at another bodega. The tour was very informative though for the price of 40 euros it's expected to be high quality. We visited all facilities involved in wine making process.
The wine tasting was a huge disappointment. We were able to taste only three wines if which the first was nothing to tell about. Other reservas were nice. We didn't have a chance to taste their Gran Reserva.
We weren't handed a bottle of their wine after the tour and the wine tasting. I afterwards found out that it should have picked up after tasting from the other location. The guide didn't mention about it at all. People left without the bottle.

Spectacular winery, it is worth visiting and understanding why the prices of its wines, an art ... and how their barrels do, another show.

I've been to few bodegas around the Europe, but this one is the special one! All these wooden tanks and barrels you see on many photos are not tourist attractions used for nothing, but they are real, aged and a part of wine making process where everything is made by humans for humans. No stainless steel tabks and controlled processes, but senses of an experienced personnel. Highly recommended! English/Spanish/French visits where the price includes a bottle of a great reserva!

Having visited many wineries, I think this is one of the most special. The oldest in Haro and the only one that continues to make wine in the most traditional way. The building is beautiful and the guide is magnificent, very entertaining and fun

Recommended visit ... And especially its wines. Don't leave Haro without trying them.
