Ron and other service techs are super nice, professional, clean and neat. They call before they arrive. They wear booties. They are considerate of the property. They are thorough. I am very happy with their service and attention to detail. Big thumbs up and would definitely use them again, and refer them!

We had an issue in the attic where one of the standard galvanized steel part had to be replaced. The part would be a max of 20 dollars. I was charged 225 for the part and 225 for labor, which took exactly 6 minutes end to end. I definitely believe that the technician was efficient, and anyone else would have taken 15 mins. Still it's close to a 900 dollars an hour. I am grateful for the service, but I feel the cost is too high.
Two reasons I would NEVER call Bob's Heating again: 1) I had a furnace the had a broken combustion impeller and called them to repair it. I gave them every bit of information they needed to purchase a new impeller and an appointment was set up for repair. The tech came out and didn't repair it. Instead, he only told his office all the information I had already given them. He informed me it had a broken impeller, which I told his office prior as told him when he when he arrived. He DID NOT work on the furnace. Then he proceeded to tell me that the part was not sold by its self and that I needed a complete combustion fan assembly and that the assembly was $800+. I sent him on his way I removed the assembly, myself and found a number on the impeller. When I input that number Amazon,m I found a replacement impeller for $33. They tried to bill for the service call ... I did not pay.
2) I had a furnace at home that was recalled by the manufacturer. The gas company condemned the furnace. Did a little homework and found the manufacturer website that my furnace was on the list. The Bob's heating tech told me it was not on the list of recalls and that the furnace needed replaced. I had a new furnace installed by another company. Sent copies of the installers bill and the notice of condemnationfrom the gas company gave me and got my $500 credit. Again, they tried to bill me a service call ... I did not pay.
This company mat lie to you and try to tell you that you need service that do not, solely for profit. Needless to say, they will NOT get a "third time is a charm" from me. I recommend you not even give them a 'first time' chance to be honest with you.
I am told they only work with new construction contractors and don t give quotes to just anybody with who I talked to on the phone. I suppose they do service of existing installations and what they say is true, but poorly communicated and poorly advertised. Not good business and others shouldn t have to chase their tails with businesses like this wanting to look like they do it all, but rapidly (impolitely) shutting you up when you call to inquire.
I called to get a quote for adding an AC unit to a furnace from 2008, and was told my home is "really old". It was built in 1999. I've had homes older than this with AC's installed no problem, but the individual I spoke with was short and rude and told me they couldn't even give me a quote for 4+ weeks.
If your home is not new construction, then my recommendation would be to skip these guys, they aren't equipped to handle installations on already built homes.
My furnace was installed in 2008 by Bob's heating -- not old enough to replace it. In 2019, the induce motor stoped working and was replaced. In December 2020, the blowing motor was replaced. After the blowing motor replacement, we frequently heard loud noises coming from the furnace, so I called the Bob's heating. The lady who answered the phone said she could send a technician to check it for $139. I told the lady the noise was not constant so she asked me to record the noise and send to her first, so I sent the sound file through text, but they never responded. I called them again and she said the phone number was a land line, so she did not get the sound file. She said she would ask the technician to call me back to talk about it. I waited for the tech to call but never heard back. In April 2021, the the furnace stopped working and we smell something burning from the vents. I called them again and the tech came. After check he said the induce motor was broken again, and that the part warranty was only one year. When I asked about the life of the motor, he said usually 8 to 10 years, but mine only lasted one year and 8 months! When they replaced the induce motor in 2019, we paid $129 diagnose, motor $473 and plus tax, but in 2021, the diagnose fee is $139, the motor price was $559 and plus tax. Within one year and 9 months, the price increased $96, 18%!. This company provided poor quality products, service, response, and was expensive, so be wary!
After Bob s Heating tech replaced the furnace induce motor, the technician talked to me and said that I needed to do a maintenance service, which I agreed to. After he left, I noticed that the electrical air cleaner was turned off so I called the tech. He said Oh, I forgot to turn it on and asked me to turn it on myself. Additionally, on the Furnace Inspection Report, it is said he had cleaned and inspected the OD intake screen, inline filter, and indoor fan assembly, which he did not do. His response was you guys did good job cleaning the filters so I did not need to do it , but he didn t even check them. What is the point in paying money for a maintenance service when none of it was done?
This was such a sloppy job; it makes me wonder whether they installed the induce motor correctly the first time, and the motor suppose to last 8 -10 years, but only lasted one and 8 months! This company provided poor quality product and service, would not recommend!

Conclusory statements like "Very Professional" or "Most arrogant.." are not helpful when you don t know why and how those conclusions were made. In the review, above, I only show facts, and allow you to draw your own conclusions.
I had my AC unit not turning on this year but furnace(heating) was working absolutely fine. I had to call another company in rush to inspect the AC unit but that guy was so rude and also messed up with my system so both heating and cooling unit stopped working. When i asked about the issue, he told some random stuffs and (literally)ran away. I was so disappointed as my furnace also stopped working. Then i decided to call Bob as they were the one who installed my furnace and AC at first place. Nice dispatcher guy who got someone very next day to inspect my system.
John and Chris(Apprentice) came to my home with all covid-19 precautionary measures. They greeted me and i explained them entire story. They went through each component and fixed everything. They answered my questions and found the previous technician removed some wires and messed up with the system. Within an hour my both furnace and AC started working fine. I am so impressed with John. He was so polite and knowledgable. I realized that's why you always go with reputed companies. They took little more than the diagnostic fee. I am so glad i called them and they made my day.
